Great place! Very beautiful location and the room was very clean and cozy. The view from our garden on Bavarian Alps and Zugspitze was breathtaking! Everything in this place was made with a great taste and tremendous love and this can be felt immediately. Only 6 km from Garmisch and 4km from Eibsee. We were actually walking to the Eibsee and the walk itself is simply a pleasure with beautiful views...

The final stop on our holiday & a characterful Hotel to finish in. Set off a quiet Street in Grainau this small well placed hotel was a pleasure to stay in. Breakfasts eaten in the garden were absolutely superb, we were just sorry not to be on 1/2 board to enjoy the suppers too(but there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance) ! Really loved this hotel. Our room with a mountain view was so beautiful, very large with extra lounge spaces, and had a nice balcony. We enjoyed the sauna and wellness area, and the staff was very nice in the mornings at breakfast. Overall the hot exceeded our expectations.

A wonderful place to stay. Great views, rooms and the owners are very friendly and helpful. It is not a 5 star Hotel so do not expect room service. The breakfast and dinner are excellent and sitting on the terrace in the evening having a great local beer surrounded by the beautiful Alps is something not to be missed. Buses and trains right outside the hotel means you can visit many of the local sights...

For the price, it isn’t bad. But surprised that they didn’t have a coffee maker in the room. They only accept reservations by 3:00 pm. Friendly staff and good parking. Very close to outdoor sport activity in the area. The view of the mountain is priceless

We booked a room on the day itself, but everything was readied for us when we got there. I even requested to add an extra person to the room when we arrived, and it was prepared immediately. The 2 bedroom unit was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was really good! Most importantly, the hosts Erik and his wife were super friendly and welcoming. Absolutely recommend!

Very nice hotel. Family run business with excellent service and hospitality. We stayed in a apartment and had amazing views, the only downside were the pillows are too soft (pancake flat, seems to be a Europe thing)and the shower head was broken but still functional. Would definately recommend a stay.

It is the best hotel that I have booked in the world.... really should have 5 stars because of the great hospitality specially the person who received us on the check in ....He is so helpful to provide us with best available room.... The apartment is really cozy and located very close to Zugspitze

Amazing location, average rooms, below-par service. The good: you're a few minutes drive from the amazing Eibsee and Zugspitze. The bad: the room was large enough, but the toilet seat wasn't properly fixed and would move from side to side. The shower had such a narrow barrier that the whole bathroom would get wet every time someone took a shower. The ugly: the door to the room would lock automatically...

Great place to stay and relax. Good views and quiet. Spacious rooms. Tight parking. No toiletries were provided. Only towels are provided. So, be sure to carry soap, shampoo etc. Also, this property takes ONLY cash and this was not mentioned. Unnecessarily wasted $50 on the wire transfer. The host was very nice and provided information whenever asked.

A really great apartment. We had a wonderful long weekend here and want to go back. Great views of the mountains and close to all the amenities. Fully equipped to a high standard. The swimming pool was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Really great apartment here with all you need to cook dinner etc. Pool was excellent and very warm with use of sauna an extra charge (€15). Well situated to explore Grainau and Garmisch. Host was wonderful and very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely gasthaus with so much room! My wife and I spent a long weekend here and as lutely loved it. The bed was very comfortable, the room itself was huge, and we were provided with all of the amenities we would require. I highly recommend staying here for a long ski weekend.

Comfortable, conveniently located hotel in the heart of Garmisch. The rooms are nice (many double rooms used to be singles and are now combined), but the bathrooms are extremely tiny and dated. The breakfast buffet is sufficient with limited variety, and parking is available right outside the hotel. The hotel now has an elevator, which is a nice addition--the hotel has been managed by the same family...

Just spent one night night at this wonderful hotel. After a long flight from Denver, Colorado to Munich Airport, it was a pleasure to spend that one night at this hotel. This hotel is located very close to the town and we enjoyed our evening walk in beautiful Garmisch. The hotel staff (Husband and Wife), plus his mother, were very accommodating and very helpful. Well located in town and only minutes away from many great restaurant options. Our room had a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains! The only downside is that the rooms themselves are a bit small.

Very nice and elegant villa (Prince has a good taste :)). Some of the furniture in the room is quite old and out of style (I am guessing 60's or 70's), but that was minor compared to all the other comforts. For breakfast - quality food and it was tasty.

A very cozy hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We stayed for a couple of days and the hotel was right near the city center and you have the greatest mountain view from there. Staff was extremely friendly, room cozy and clean, breakfast was great with lovely service. We had an absolute great stay!

In general it's a very decent hotel. Perfect location, well-fitted room, good breakfast, no issues with cleaning. Staff is mostly welcoming and helpful. However, there are several people working at the restaurant that are irritated all the time and, despite they help you with your needs, their mimics and body language do not make you happy and don't encourage to come back to them again.

It was a nice place to stay with a pizza hut and sports bar across the parking lot. It also was next to the exchange gas station, very convenient for travelers.

We had dinner at Gasthof Fraundorfer. It was a solid experience… The food was good, service was quick, the waiter gave us some great recommendations (which we asked for, of course). Overall we had a good time, typical Bavarian experience!

We came back 2 weeks later to order another one and unfortunately that was a "lemon" (totally overcooked pork - I guess the chef needed a "warm-up", we got to the place right after it opened :-) Still... nice restaurant and staff in a great location in Partenkirchen.

It's a three star hotel @ the price of a student hostel in Munich! Great value for money. And they have bathtubs.

Cheap and cheerful place in the heart of Partenkirchen. The bed was a bit hard and when they say single bed, they mean it. But the staff were only too happy to turn on the sauna whenever we asked. Only had breakfast the once and it was the usual continental fare as there are plenty of places around to grab food.

What a great little hotel! Beautiful views, well appointed room. Very spacious, especially for European hotels. Memory foam mattress. Parking lot large enough to park a large SUV. We had a family room with a king bed and 2 twins with plenty of space to move around and stow our luggage.
