Love the surrounding nature, the breakfast buffet was always a delight, a big thumbs up 👍🏻 to the egg station chef! All the staff were extremely attentive and super nice. We had a fantastic weekend getaway.

I ’d absolutely recommend staying at the Eibsee Hotel and will probably find my way back there someday. The location is obviously incredible - right on the lake with gorgeous views in every direction. I was really pleasantly surprised by the food. Breakfast had a ton of variety, the afternoon snack was more than enough to count as lunch, and both restaurants served truly excellent dinners. Great wine...

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Eibsee Hotel! Everything was perfect for our family. The food was delicious—even our 3-year-old daughter enjoyed every meal! Amazing views from the hotel restaurant and patios. We opted for the cheapest room with forest views... but still enjoyed the food and views from the rest of the hotel. Breakfast, lunch snack, and dinner were some of the best meals of our entire trip. Hiking around the lake was beautiful in the morning. (We also went out in the afternoon but it was much more crowded.)

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Massage was great as was the sauna and dip into the lake. Going to the top of the highest peak in Germany was fun and only a walk from the hotel to the gondola. Restaurant staff did a marvelous job with providing good and varied food items given my multiple allergies.

Heavenly location, this is worth every dollar. Hospitality is subpar, but it’s mostly due to seasonal employees I would guess. Just don’t expect four seasons, but once again…the views and lake are worth any bad service. The staff does try, and succeeds in some ways so do not put much weight into my words. Really loved this hotel. Our room with a mountain view was so beautiful, very large with extra lounge spaces, and had a nice balcony. We enjoyed the sauna and wellness area, and the staff was very nice in the mornings at breakfast. Overall the hot exceeded our expectations.

Great place! Very beautiful location and the room was very clean and cozy. The view from our garden on Bavarian Alps and Zugspitze was breathtaking! Everything in this place was made with a great taste and tremendous love and this can be felt immediately. Only 6 km from Garmisch and 4km from Eibsee. The final stop on our holiday & a characterful Hotel to finish in. Set off a quiet Street in Grainau this small well placed hotel was a pleasure to stay in. Breakfasts eaten in the garden were absolutely superb, we were just sorry not to be on 1/2 board to enjoy the suppers too(but there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance) ! I stayed on my bike ride here and was completely satisfied. Except a hair dryer in the room is everything available, what you need as a cyclist. Price-to-performance ratio is good. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I recommend this to those who are traveling to Zugspisee or Alpspisee by rental car. It is a little far from the city, but you can see the morning sun and sunset over the snow-covered mountains from the hotel. There is also a small lake if you take a walk right near the hotel. In particular, you can walk to the mart right in front of the hotel and there is a local German restaurant 10 minutes away...

Long ago this location was a flour mill, now a luxury hotel and spa in Garmisch. Rooms were clean, bed firm. They have a small gym, and many spa services. The bar has a decent selection of spirits, wine and beer. There is a lovely walking path along the river.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff We stayed for a ski holiday and really loved the hotel. We spent three wonderful nights here in early spring. Our room was incredibly spacious for three people, and we loved the breathtaking mountain view. The breakfast was good enough to start the day, but the star of the show was definitely the beautiful indoor heated pool. While it's on the expensive side, the price feels justified for the quality of the amenities.

The lady at reception when we checked in May 26 around noon was incredibly helpful and even helped us to our room. She was so very kind during our whole stay. I use a cane and must have looked so tired, she was so kind. When we left , I felt I was leaving a good friend. All of the staff was super kind but she was exceptional. God bless her!

The Best hotel of our trip! Staff were excellent and so helpful at all times. Great location. Nice room with extra space and a balcony. Coffee maker in the room which was nonexistent in Austria! Excellent breakfast and get snacks in afternoon. Public transport is easy to use. You get a guest pass for free public transport if you stay a couple days.

The hotel is very nice and convenient

Everything was great. A small point to note is that there is no air conditioning for the room during winter season, hence you’ll have to leave the windows open as it gets a little stuffy overtime.

This hotel has great amenities for family vacation, the restaurant and bar atmosphere are great, but the small rooms are the problem, nobody likes tinny rooms, no AC just heating, no safe, no place for the bags, no amenities kit for the bathroom. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast excellent with a wide choice of cereals, rolls, cheeses, meats and other things. Our superior room was enormouse, comfortable and had a balcony with table and 2 chairs and side views of the mountains. Everything is spotlessly clean. Attractive garden to relax in. This hotel is pretty neat, clean, friendly customer service and seems to be a family owned and operated. We stayed for 3 nights in October and we enjoyed our stay! It was conveniently located with the train station just opposite which also has convenience store there. There’s food and supermarket nearby too. The apartment is of a great size and had everything we needed, especially a washing machine! We will recommend this place!

The hotel has an indoor pool, dry sauna, and daily breakfast. The staff were wonderful. The location is also great, near the center of town. The downsides are as follows: the basic rooms are very small and the queen beds are actually two twin beds side-by-side, a small shower that would not accomodate anyone larger in size and the entire bathroom is tiny also, and most importantly for some people...

Fantastic location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had a short walk into Garmisch each evening for dinner and/or drinks and as we drove it was centrally located to sites we wanted to see. The swimming pool was also welcomed with temperatures in the 30 Celsius range during our stay. Would definitely return.

Wonderful hotel within walking distance from the train station. The beautiful building is full of Bayerisch charm, nice views from the room. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, there is even a small indoor swimming pool. Breakfast buffet has good options. Overall, makes for a great stay at GaPa.

Family driven hotel and with such atmosphere. Excelent location, free parking, very clean. The room we had was simple furnished but you can not complain, everything you need was there. You may see that its best years are gone but still a good place to stay.

It was a very nice hotel. Nice air conditioning and I like the classic Bavarian style. There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad. Now I’m serving 45 years in prison lol.

Been there once, great food. Met a famous Thai guy there. He's super nice. Celebrity maybe. His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho. He was there with his wives.

The hotel is located in a small town at the foot of Zugspitze. It is very close to the train station. There are supermarkets and shops at the train station, including Burger King. The hotel has a good location and a rich breakfast. The next day, it is less than 10 kilometers to drive to EIBSEE, which takes about 20 minutes. We stayed here for a night in July and it was wonderful. The place is very close walking distance to Partenkirchen and the hosts were so wonderfully hospitable. The breakfast was plentiful with many options and my only regret was honestly not staying longer to fully take advantage of the accommodations!
