I ’d absolutely recommend staying at the Eibsee Hotel and will probably find my way back there someday. We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Eibsee Hotel! Everything was perfect for our family. The food was delicious—even our 3-year-old daughter enjoyed every meal! Amazing views from the hotel restaurant and patios. We opted for the cheapest room with forest views... but still enjoyed the food and views from the rest of the hotel. Breakfast, lunch snack, and dinner were some of the best meals of our entire trip. Hiking around the lake was beautiful in the morning. (We also went out in the afternoon but it was much more crowded.)

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Massage was great as was the sauna and dip into the lake. Going to the top of the highest peak in Germany was fun and only a walk from the hotel to the gondola. Restaurant staff did a marvelous job with providing good and varied food items given my multiple allergies.

Heavenly location, this is worth every dollar. Hospitality is subpar, but it’s mostly due to seasonal employees I would guess. I stayed here alone on a leg of my road trip around Germany. Parking was easy and readily available. First of all, the pictures really do not do the location justice. If you want to enjoy the GAP area this is a perfect location. Grainau and Längenfelder Hof is a great choice for alpine scenery. You can get here by the small train and will do well without a car. I recommend you rent bicycles (electric or other) as you have access to great roads and paths.

Very ,very suited for our stay !! In walking distance of everything: toxic lake ,and Garmisch (with its fish cafe store) and the famous gorge with a stream . This place was amazing! It has a rustic yet modern feel. Only was there for one night, but if time was available I would have extended my stay. The apartments are very comfortable, we were 2 adults and 5 children. Everything you need for life is available, warm and wide. The area is quiet, through the windows and balconies with wonderful views of the mountains, yet close to everything you need - shops, ski slopes. There is a parking possibility even with a minibus. We definitely recommend both a small company and a big company.

We liked that we could walk to town, where restaurants were plenty, and was a very short drive to the Zugspitze. But above all this, we absolutely love the Mountain Views, the beautiful flowers and the peace and quiet.

The front office staff are some of the nicest and most accommodating we had on our trip. They help with anything you need. The only little problem with the room was that there was no air conditioning in the room so it got a little stuffy and hot in the night time.

What an awesome place to stay for a ski trip. We had two comfort rooms and our dog Greta. Its really close to a bus stop that takes you to the Garmisch Classic area. This hotel is pretty neat, clean, friendly customer service and seems to be a family owned and operated. The rooms that we got was at the highest floor (3rd floor) with nice different views on each room. They give free breakfast in the mornings and it's quite good too. It was a very nice hotel. Nice air conditioning and I like the classic Bavarian style. There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad. Now I’m serving 45 years in prison lol.

The hotel is well located, and many excursions can be started from there. The hotel is a bit older. This is evident from the stains on the carpet and upholstery. There is a large TV, but it is not usable at all due to poor reception. Overall, it is a well-kept older hotel, good as a base, but not really for a staycation.

The location is a little far from the station, but it is within walking distance. The facilities are a little old, but the environment and sanitation are still OK. You can see the mountain when you open the window. The breakfast is also quite good, but there were many people staying on the day I went, and you had to queue up to get coffee. It was one of the warmest day in summer when we stayed there, when the windows were widely opened, the room temperature decreased by the gentle mountain wind. The night was quiet with open windows. The decor in the room is with a Bavarian dining table, the size of room is enough for a couple and a dog. The staff were friendly.
