Nice German hotel in the Harz. Breakfast OK considering the price. Excellent cocktail bar, but they only accepted cash. The surroundings are fantastic - try the liebebanksweg - about a 7 km walk/climb. Room in old fashioned German stile with sofa group in room for entertainment.

A very nice hotel in the mountains. The view from the hotel is beautiful as it looks directly onto the two lakes in the town. Inside the hotel the interior is full of beautifully carved wood. The rooms are nice and well furnished. Additionally, there is both a small swimming pool and two saunas (1 Turkish, 1 Finnish). Our stay included both breakfast and dinner which is a buffet in the connected restaurant...

The hotel is kind of old and the included food was not great. Breakfast buffet better than the dinner. Only internet in the lobby and nearly no data service on my phone - not the hotel's fault, but the combination leaves you nearly cut off from the outside world. At least that's how it felt for someone like me who's usually always connected somehow. Maybe some people would enjoy that 😊 Bike parking...

Good hotel in a old mountain style cabin. The food buffet is German. Nothing over the top but like the place and the nature.

Hans Thorup and Retchie . I and my partner check in 12.July - 16.July 2024. The room is good ,clean and great. The staff at the kitchen are very polite and helpful, they are very nice and approached you and greet, I am comfortable when I came inside every breakfast and dinner because they are accomodated. The food is okay ⭐⭐ but I guess the chef must taste the food because most of the food in dinner...

Loving this place. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The room cleaners and I are having a secret competition in bed making and pj folding 😃. Food is lovely and the rooms are beautiful. Got a free upgrade to a suite as we arrived. Never had such a lovely surprise before. We highly recommend a stay here. This hotel is doing it's up most to make our stay memorable 🤩🤩🤩

Rooms are just fine, food is good. Friendly staff. I didn't really like the wellness part. The town is real nice and there are plenty of possibilities for hiking and other sports
