The hotel is kind of old and the included food was not great. Breakfast buffet better than the dinner. We were guests at a wedding. The food, an Italian evening, was very good. There was a lot of choice. The place was a little small, but quite suitable for the number of guests (about 30). Overall, I was happy. The bathroom was new with a large shower. What I was missing were towel rails at the head of the shower, you had to step out of it to dry off. What annoyed me, however, was that my breakfast table, which I had for two days, was suddenly reserved for another gentleman, and I was assigned a cat table with a pillar in front of me. Our family of six stayed at Haus Katharina for a weekend four weeks ago. The house is modern yet very comfortably furnished. We were lucky that it snowed that weekend, allowing us to go sledding in the fresh snow on the slope behind the house. The evening sauna with a view of the snowy landscape rounded off the whole experience. A very nice time and a beautiful house.

We wouldn't choose any other accommodation but this one again. Absolutely everything is provided, from kitchen utensils and bathing suits to sleds and the like. The only thing that could be improved is a little information on how to use the sauna and the best way to light the fireplace. Otherwise, absolutely perfect, including the location.

The log houses are well equipped and really offer a lot of comfort, the price-performance ratio is okay. In front of the Katharina house, however, the road is currently being completely rebuilt, which means that massive construction noise must be expected every day from 7 a.m. onwards. The impairments are already very large, because the bedrooms and the terrace are directly on the construction site...

The reception was very good, I was able to order in advance the dish i wanted to have for dinner and the time for dinner, and I was able to have the dish divided in two for me and my girlfriend (which is not well seen in other hotels, I must say). The hotel is in a very idyllic location right next to the forest. Pure tranquility. The staff is super friendly, the rooms very clean. Unfortunately, the restaurant looks very cool and therefore not very cozy. Our breakfast was varied, only we didn't like the rolls, but this is a matter of taste.

Friendly and courteous staff, who accommodated us very obligingly. The location in Braunlage is also very good, the rooms are large and clean. Shower in the tub is not that nice. The hotel can certainly not do anything for the sometimes insane Corona requirements, but it makes the stay extremely uncomfortable, almost clinical.

Really clean ja nice hotel. Friendly staff but doesn't speak very good english. Family room have a lot of space.

Very nice room and a very large selection of delicious dishes. The staff is friendly and courteous. The price / performance ratio is okay. There are some free parking spaces at the hotel. I would love to come back.

Enjoyed our recent stay here. Rooms and food first class. Has a small swimming pool with other spa facilities, all immaculate. The owners couldn’t do enough to make us feel special. Highly recommend!

This is a really nice hotel. Even when they were fully booked the experience was great. We did have to park quite some distance away, however the new parking place was being prepared so that should allow more customers to park closer. The wifi was well connected and general amenities were well thought out for comfort. I would probably not recommend their massage services as both massages I had were...

Excellent service and very quiet. Close to the woods with many hiking routes. Komfort plus rooms very large with a big balcony.

A very nice apartment! Can accommodate up to 4 people. Comfortably furnished, charming in the rear building. Also perfect for the summer. Very flexible landlord. I can just recommend it. 🥰

Hello, we were in Wernigerode for the first time to visit the annual Oktoberfest with friends. The pension is in a very quiet location, but still centrally located so that you can reach the very beautiful city center in a short time on foot. Everything is very clean and the landlords were very nice. We would book the pension again at any time.

Well we have to say it was one of the nicest vacation rentals we've ever had. The apartment itself is very well maintained and very well furnished with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The owner very courteous and very helpful would also get things if you noticed what should be missing in the apartment. The location of the apartment is excellent, you can easily walk to everything. E.g. city...

Everything went perfectly. Everything you need plus a steam sauna was on site. All clean. Only the couch could be a bit more comfortable. Thanks for the nice stay!

Spacious room, friendly staff, kitchen facilities, fridge with individual compartments for each room. Good breakfast with lots of fresh fruit.

A fantastic hotel in a very quiet location. The rooms are very clean and you can sleep comfortably in the beds. We found it great that the bathroom / shower and toilet are separate. These are very clean and modern (no soap residue etc.). Boss and staff are very courteous and helpful. Breakfast, despite corona pandemic restrictions, rich and tasty. There is a tea kitchen on each floor, which is practical...
