My partner come to kitchen and he paid there but the old man came and say " You should pay for me not in the kitchen because I am the one who served the drinks" Hello,is he crazy? If he cannot accomodate all the guest he must ask for help for his co-worker , and if he is tired he must stop working and relax

The staff at the kitchen are very polite and helpful, they are very nice and approached you and greet, I am comfortable when I came inside every breakfast and dinner because they are accomodated

He showed bad attitude when we finished our dinner and would like to pay the drinks, I understand that he is busy of other guest but as guest we dont have to wait for 15-30 minutes sitting when he come to collect our payment

The staff at the reception are very friendly so ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for them. The massage staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ is good. But,hoping every summer you have an extra electric fan becausw it is really hot in the room

A huge plus point was the large wellness area with pool and two saunas, which with its relaxation room is perfect for relaxing after hiking. You rarely feel so comfortable and homely in hotels, soon in a new one!

Very helpful and friendly staff, my room was clean and with a large balcony. Good breakfast, sauna and small swimming pool.

The fact that the swimming pool can only be used by families and at a time chosen by the guest is no cause for criticism for me. Every hotel needs a hygiene concept and this has been solved well

What I have to complain about is the ceiling in the swimming pool. It's not a pretty sight at the moment and I think we're working on it !! ? The door frames in our rooms could also be revised

We stayed spontaneously here for a night with 2 children and our dog. Pleasant surroundings, 2 swim lakes makenup for the indoor pool being closed (covid regs). Food was more than okay for inclusive buffet

I can recommend going to the bar in the evening and sampling the delicious cocktails. If you like hiking there is a very easy trail called the Leibesbank which takes you around the lakes in the area

A very nice hotel in the mountains. The view from the hotel is beautiful as it looks directly onto the two lakes in the town. Inside the hotel the interior is full of beautifully carved wood

Breakfast OK considering the price. Excellent cocktail bar, but they only accepted cash. The surroundings are fantastic - try the liebebanksweg - about a 7 km walk/climb

Good hotel in a old mountain style cabin. The food buffet is German. Nothing over the top but like the place and the nature.

In any case, it's clean and you can sleep well. Sure, the whole place is stuck in the 70s, but it's very affordable. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast. I haven't had freshly baked rolls in a hotel in ages

Thank you for the lovely short break, and also a piece of advice for the owner: you need to do some structural work, even if it's difficult, otherwise you won't survive the next 5 years, and that would be a real shame!

Well, the reviews were a bit mixed, but we still went there with our grandchild and were generally pleasantly surprised. It would certainly have earned a higher rating if the need for renovations weren't so obvious

I imagine it was built in the Soviet era judging by the exterior. Food was not very good quality and uninspiring. Some nice forest walks close by and easy to get into Goslar by bus

The hotel is a bit out of the way, so a car is a must. At first glance it is getting old. However, the rooms are well equipped and very modern. There is ample parking and really fast WiFi

Ich hatte dem Personal von der defekten Außenjalousie in meinem Zimmer berichtet. Dies war schon bekannt und sie bedauerten dies sehr. Auch das diese leider erst am Montag, nach meiner Abreise, repariert werden kann

Mir ist die extreme Sauberkeit in meinem Zimmer und in den öffentlichen Bereichen positiv aufgefallen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und auch mal für ein kleines Späßchen zu haben

I booked a room at the hotel for the wedding night and by chance arrived one day before check in and I asked if there is a possibility to add another night and when I arrived an envelope waited for me to arrive wonderful room with great view

A very good house, we felt very comfortable, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the restaurant with its chef is just excellent, the man knows how to conjure up culinary delights, the city itself is not that great but when you are there for a few days like us to make your trips from there it is perfect, we family with a 10 year old child felt very comfortable

some rooms are renovated and nice, others rather old. As I tend not to spend too much time in my room I do not care much about it. I need a bed and a shower, that I had :-) The beds though are not comfortable much

Food, serivce and cleanliness is very good. I did not try out the sauna etc. Overall I would still recommend it because the price is very fair and all but the beds are good

She was constantly pushing us to eat faster during dinner (on both nights as dinner was included in stay) in order to allow time for the next course as the kitchen was closing (at 20:30!!) Quite hard to keep your calm and your appetite with someone like this

Our 2 nights stay was in general enjoyable. The apartament was big and clean, the food was quite good. However the Lady with a white strand of hair was very rude and unwelcoming

Everything is prepared by ourselves and made with a lot of love. The hotel also has several saunas and a swimming pool. The Harz is right next to the front door and there are wonderful hiking trails

Yoga / meditation over several days is also offered. The staff was very nice and the price-performance ratio was very good. So the perfect program for a week or a weekend to relax and unwind from everyday stress

Changing warm dishes, lots of homemade spreads and raw bread left nothing to be desired and that's why we extended another night. The saunas are also great and you feel in excellent hands with all the staff

The dinner is a 3-course menu with a raw vegetable soup as a starter, zucchini noodles with tomato sauce and vegetables as the main course and as a dessert there was a gluten-free cake with nut base and avocado / cashew cream

For breakfast there is, for example, a fresh green smoothie made from spinach, celery and wild herbs (everything from our own garden) as well as orange and apple

The search for vegan hotels where you don't have to worry about anything has turned out to be difficult in Germany, but everything was right here

A small family run Hotel. Very friendly staff (and dog) Great quality food in the restaurant. Ideal for anyone wanting to explore the local area.

I was there for dinner with colleges. The meal was good. We had to wait pretty long for it although there weren't many other guests.

Easy check in, room was large and clean, beds comfortable and fresh. The bathroom is a bit dated but clean, towels and soap/shower gel are provided

Since we were the only ones left one night we got breakfast served at the table from the nice hotel host which was a big plus. We also got discounts for tourist-activities and 2 free bus tickets

If you don't want to use the shared toilet at the end of the corridor, we recommend booking a room with a shower and toilet - we still had the option of an upgrade on the day of arrival 😁

Small and cozy Hotel near the city center. 5 min to the big church and several restaurants, we can recommend the restaurant Paulaner Wirsthaus just around the corner

A lot of light there!!! Friendly people at the reception! Delicious breakfast!!! If you hesitate whether you need breakfast there, include it!!! That was soooo good! There were variety of cheese, pastries, sausages, fruit, beverages!!! The hotel is 15 minutes from the station and right next to the Christmas market!!! I hope I’ll come there one more time!

More than 500 year old buildings with luxury interior. You feel like in a different time. The staff goes above and beyond. Super friendly and always ready to help. The location in the heart of Goslar is just perfect

The building is very old and you need to walk a few hundred meters to go to the reception and breakfast. Beds are good and the room offers eveything you can expect. We had dinner in the hotel which was great

A wonderfully "old-school rebooted" hotel, set right in the middle of one of Germany's most lovely cities. Lovingly furnished, well-appointed rooms

We have stayed at this spectacular hotel almost every year since 2006, our first choice when traveling in Germany. The rooms are fantastic with an outstanding atmosphere, spacious, comfortable and very nice decorated

Only thing - the pool was located at another hotel 25 meters from Kaiserwiorth and much smaller and not so nice facilities as showed on the pictures

Historical hotel. Room was little bit cheap and contraction was confusing. But for me, it was interesting. And also, the access to town was so good. I really enjoyed staying.

The view over the city square with historical buildings is unique - just splendid. If you come by car there is a very good, and safe, private parking close to the hotel

The breakfast buffé is very generous with something for everyones taste - love it! On top of all the staff is very nice, professional and give you first class service

All the homely essentials and well located right in the heart of the town centre next to the market platz and the train station is only 5 minutes away. There is an assortment of shops and restaurants close by too

Can't find anything to complain about with this place. Perfectly situated, parking against a "normal fee", amazing rooms which in reality is more an appartment without kitchen

A room downstairs with tv, sofa, working desk and such while the bedroom is one stair up along with the seperated toilet and shower/hygien area (and also a second TV)

You won’t find a more helpful staff in Goslar. Our choice every time we visit to this area see our family. What a lovely place to watch the world go by

The food is always fast and delicious too and right in the town square. After a terrible hotel in Berlin it was lovely to return to Goslar

Regarding location, the hotel was easy to get to by car; we were able to find on-street parking while we checked in, and we were then were given access to the (extra-cost) parking garage behind the hotel, which was convenient

I had the superior single room, which turned out to be a nice room. By 'single room' standards it was spacious, with a small sitting area and a large bathroom. It also had a small balcony, which was a nice bonus

The hotel is right by the train station, so access by train would also be very good. It is only a one-block walk to the northern edge of the old town, so access to the tourist sites in Goslar is also good

The hotel consists of several complexes that are very well integrated into the old town. The main train station is also within easy reach. Nice swimming pool with sauna, everything is well maintained

Close to historical town. I was told there was a pool but didn't use it. Room is good size for solo travels with a small refrig. Clean. There is breakfast service but I didn't try it.

Very unusually the coffee was not from a machine but was real coffee served in a thermos on the table - big praise for that! The dinner restaurant was not on the same level, but ok for the price (I was there on a group trip with SKAN travel)

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was relatively small but nice and clean, however I missed an electric kettle so I could make a cup of instant coffee

Is a home for assisted living and a hotel. As a hotel guest, I felt very welcome there. The rooms and apartments were furnished to a high standard. The location is very central and quiet. I can only recommend.

Its a pension house, so expectations are similar. Location is not too far from central station. (7/8 minutes max by walk) Room was good and cozy. breakfast was as usual, nothing different than other places but was good

The hotel is situated on a hill in beautiful Altenau. The front desk was very friendly and since not all rooms were occupied, a larger room with a balcony was prepared for us free of charge
