Nice small hotel with fine clean rooms and nice breakfast.

The Hotel Papilio is a beautiful and cozy Hotel!!! The rooms are very pleasant with a large flat TV, the beds are very soothing with two pillows and a neck roll. The room service is very courteous and always friendly!!! Up on the road noise on the front of the hotel, with the window open and the small shower, the rooms are really perfect. The Restaurant is really a nice room with a beautiful beer garden...

Small but fine hotel. Rooms very neat, hostess very nice, fantastic breakfast. A bit out of the way from the city center but the tram is a 3 minute walk and 15 minutes later you are downtown. Highly recommended for a weekend trip as a starting point for discovery tours through Leipzig.

Nice little hotel where you feel welcome straight away. Everyone tries very hard and is always willing to help. Room, breakfast and cleanliness top. Large and free car park, with the S-Bahn in front of the door and thus quickly in the city. We'd love to come back.

The room is well-designed and comfortable. The location of the hotel is superb, on a lively, yet not too loud street in central Leipzig.

Very friendly, very clean rooms! Bathroom very nicely done with a large shower! Very quiet because it is well insulated against noise. Breakfast also very tasty in the form of a buffet. Price / offer: Very good!

Very nice breakfast at the restaurant downstairs... Good location, nice staff, clean rooms. Nothing special, but I'd definitely recommend this place as a reasonably priced option, and I'd probably stay here again.

I have stayed in this hotel several times now and am always happy about the "certain" something in the ambience. The service is very good and the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, so much so that I am always annoyed that I get full too quickly. Slight deductions for the rooms and bathrooms. Instead of a bathtub with shower, I would be more pleased with a spacious shower cubicle.

Philharmonic concert in a small setting - very pleasant and harmonious. A sumptuous and very tasty coffee set was included. It would have deserved more guests (marketing). The only thing that was a little weak was the wine by the glass menu, but the service was very quick and courteous!

It's a shame that it wasn't clear on the internet that the restaurant was closed. In the winter garden we were served chips, currywurst and schnitzel as an alternative in the evening, but it wasn't the experience we would have wanted in a star hotel. Strange looking contener hotel outside the central district area. Great breakfast, clean comfortable but small rooms, small spaces at the community areas also, strong WiFi, free car park. Thin walls noise neighborhoods. Good price quality factor!

The price reveals that you must expect nothing special, but for the money Top. All very nice and helpful. Little Tip. No Smoking in the rooms. The stink. Parking lot is very large and in front of the door.

We had booked 1 double room and 1 single room for a long weekend. The rooms were all furnished clean and tidy. The staff very friendly. The Service (drinks at reasonable prices) was super. The Breakfast was a bit poor. All in all, a good price - performance ratio. If I make again a short trip to Leipzig, I'll definitely be back to stay here.

The hotel was in a central location. It was easy to walk to the city center. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed my stay and found plenty of shopping and restaurants in the neighborhood.

Perfectly placed hotel with free parking (though limiter) and roughly 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Nice size room and bathroom. Had not bought the add-on breakfast but there are several options for fold close by the hotel. Public transport just outside, though we did not utilise it, as we could easily walk everywhere. Will definately stay here again if in Leipzig.

Great location, right across the street from tram stop, so quick easy access to Central Leipzig. Good breakfast, comfortable bed & room. Great front desk staff, helpful & pleasant. Decent smaller hotel. Location pretty good for our needed destinations. About 25 minutes to Old Town by foot. Walked everywhere, even to central trainstation but all kinds of public transport stops nearby. Staff was helpful. Places to eat or buy groceries are near. Somekind of outdoor Market was happening there too. Breakfast was fine. Different müslies, Deli meats, cheese, breads, yoghurt, jam, teas...

Nice hotel within walking distance of the center. We quickly found a parking space. Friendly english speaking staff. Nicely prepared breakfast buffet. Hotel is opposite the Bayrisch Staatseisenbahn.

The Hotel seems aged, but comfortable and kind service when I get into the room. it's good that there's a big desk for work. single soft bed quite nice for sleep. but the transportation is not so convenient for traveler to get the public trans.

I book this hotel usually when I visit Leipzig due to the convenience of digital 24h checkin and ease of use. However, more often than not, there is not enough toiled paper, meaning you get only 1 that someone used before. Also if you go in summer you need to know there is no AC. Parking with easy access to the hotel. Between 18:00 and 9:00 for 6 euro. Clean room. Good bed clean towels, enough toilet paper. Everything there for a good night sleep. We choose a comfort room to sleep quiet. In the neighborhood are enough restaurants, mostly foreign food. Good breakfast in the bakery below.

I was staying 1night at that hotel, the payment, access info were good. Room, single room was good, clean, very basic, but extremely hot and without A/C, different from description online. In the summer month is must be without A/C not possible to sleep, window can be open, but street down is noisy. On the end a mixed impression, if there an other hotel chance in Leipzig with an A/C room over summer...

Spotlessly clean room, modern, very basic with a nice bed & bathroom. It is however not city 'center' (although easily accessible with a good public transport). Cleaning of the room/making of the bed is an extra, as were many other services. Nice safe area. I did however mistakingly book the same hotel twice with two different companies, & neither would refund my money. Apart from that, good value...

The staff was super helpful when there was an issue with my booking. The bed was quite comfortable and the room had all the necessary amenities.

The hotel is in a good location, the decoration style is very good, with a more industrial style design. It is close to the commercial district next door and it is very convenient for eating and shopping. I will choose this hotel next time in Leipzig

Overall is a nice place to stay for a coupe of days, breakfast is included and is great, as is the restaurant. Menu in German and English. The only downside is that they have no double beds, just two singles put together.

Fantastic boutique hotel just outside the Center Ring Road. Convenient to all the city center amenities, as well as public transportation options. Staff are kind and helpful, and were patient with my limited German language skills. Breakfast buffet is well stocked. Rooms are comfortable, quiet, and good sized. Get a balcony if one is available.

Despite the proximity to the city center (less than 10 minutes walk) the hotel is in a very quite location. The hotel's location is perhaps a bit awkward—near the railway tracks—and it followed us into the night, even though we were on the fourth floor. We had the large tower room there; it's quite funny when you go up there, but the view from up there is fantastic! The room was very clean and tidy, even though the hotel seems to be from another era. The investment in the ambiance also stood out! Very pleasant...

This hotel is very good for the money you pay. No loud disco in October. It was very quiet. Furniture is older, bed was ok and clean, carpet was new. Breakfast was average for 10 Euro. Tram nb 7 just across the street will take you to the centre in 15min. Easy enough. Things to improve : very poor light in the bathroom and only 3 analog channels on TV.

Went to Leipzig to watch a game. The hotel's location is average, a bit far from the city center, but quite close to the stadium, just 3 tram stops away. The hotel environment is average, and the trash cans are not cleaned. The hotel has a parking lot, which is very convenient. It's 7 euros a night. Overall, the price/performance ratio is still acceptable.

A very nice hotel in a nice area, close to the stadium. Due to covid it had to cut most of its services, like sauna, restaurant, bar, and even the reception itself. Self check-in is very easy and fast to do. I would definitely recommend if you're in Leipzig and you need the stadium to be close.

The room was clean and the staff very helpful. It's a 20 Min walk into the city centre. There is no night porter, so you let yourself into the building using your room key card. The breakfast was very simple continental style. There is no restaurant.

Service was very fast and very lovely at the reception. I cannot speak a word of German, but that was no problem here. Decor is stunning, from the entrance, to the towels artistically folded on the beds! Definitely recommend staying here when visiting the Arena. Thank you to everyone here at Hotel Arena 💕

All good, but the soundproofing is low, the trams start running from 7.00 and neighbors in the surrounding rooms hear everything that breaks comfort.
