Burghotel

We stayed here when we visited the christmas market of Lingen. It was a good location as the Christmas market is like 2 minute walk from the hotel however we did not hear any noise from the xmas market. It is in a shopping street with some nice local stores. Parking is like 400 meter away and free. Room is modern and a lil small but it was good. Clean and good wifi. There is a bar area where you could get a drink at night. Breakfast was modest but more than enough. Staff can arrange a ommeltte for you. Great place!

The hotel is in a very quiet location, right in the historic center of Lingen. Everything is clean and tidy, the rooms are very tastefully decorated. It shouldn't bother you that only a small number of the rooms are in the historic building. The majority are in a successful new building.

The hotel is beautifully furnished, very modern and chic! We just found the toilets to be too high (even though we are 1.70 and 1.80 tall) and the shower cubicles are difficult to close, which meant that our bathroom flooded. The hotel is very nicely located and close to the center - we didn't find it particularly quiet... because it's in an alley, it might echo a bit more!

We felt very comfortable! The rooms are clean and modern. The location is great. The breakfast buffet is sufficient. The free parking is about a two-minute walk away. A visit to Lingen and an overnight stay in the castle hotel are worth every trip.

Hotel facilities: When you enter the hotel, there is a small reception on the left, and on the right is the entrance to the rooms on the ground floor and the toilets. On the left there are three steps to the entrance to the staircase and the breakfast room or lounge. Room facilities: When you enter the room, there is a coat rack on the left, next to it a mirror and under the mirror there is a suitcase rack. Next to this is a small table with a chair. To the right of this is the entrance to the bathroom. On the left is a small sink with a vanity unit, in the corner the walk-in shower and next to it the toilet. The bathroom was equipped with underfloor heating. In the room on the right-hand side there was a double bed with a shelf on each side and a small lamp. In the back corner of the room there was a seating area with a small sofa, two armchairs and a table in the middle. There was also a floor lamp in the corner. The TV with a swivel arm was also attached here so that you could watch TV in the whole room. Location of the hotel: The hotel is about 100 m from the market square in a quiet side street. There are numerous restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Personal experience: General: We stayed here for one night in October 2021. Check-in/reception/general service We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, so it was no problem to get into the room. The hotel does not have a bar, but there is a drinks fridge in the lounge. Here you enter the drinks you have taken on a card and pay for them when you check out. The breakfast buffet was good for a hotel of this size. The hotel has its own free parking lot, which is about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. Room condition: The room condition can definitely be described as new. The rooms have obviously been recently renovated. There were no signs of wear and tear. Check-out: There were no problems at all when checking out. Conclusion: We paid around €91.00 for one night including breakfast in a double room. You could say that this was very good value for money.

Recommend hotel, rooms are very nice, breakfast is perfect and its in the middle of the center and there is enough parking space for hotel guests

Staying in the hotel for my second time and no doubt in recommending it! Very friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms, supplied with vanity kit, toiletries, fresh towels and bed sheets for every day. Good breakfast. No minibars in the rooms, but there's fridge on the ground floor, providing beer, wine, soft drinks. Bear in mind there's no restaurant for lunch/dinner and not 24/7 reception (nevertheless emergency line is available and really works, proved!). Very well situated in the town centre
