Novum Hotel Aviva Neue Messe

Unfortunately, the room I slept in (1 night) was infested with bed bugs and I left with bad allergic reactions due to more than 30 bites. I contacted the hotel 2 days ago and no answer yet. Let's hope we can find a solution and they get the bed/room cleant.
***Update on 26/11: I emailed them 3 times since and received NO REPLY.

Would highly not recommend it! It was an unfortunate experience like from a horror movie! The worst was the behaviour of the staff. The man from the reception came to my room late at night (around 12 am) and after a plenty of knocks on the door and without saying any word that he is from the hotel he tried to open the door with his card. Ich was so scared (he did it twice) After all of the stress he said something and I registered his voice and opened. There was a problem with the transaction, he didn’t apologise for for disturbing me, he didn’t care about the sticker „do not disturb me“ on the door. Hopefully I speak German because otherwise the communication would be impossible, he even didn’t speak a single word in English. Do not make my mistake choosing this place!

Nice personnel. Good bed! But they couldnt compansate for the stinky room - it was clean but was stinking as a sewery. I got headaches both nights. The view is to a DHL truck park. The room rates were high because of a big congress. I was happy they had gluten-free bread for thr breakfast - thanks for that. But pls take care of that smell.

It was worst hotel I stay in my whole life. Please do not ignore this review. It do not have anz wifi service and when you ask them for any help. they are racist they just want to speek Dutch and do not want to reply in english they shout on you, beacuse you do not know German.
I did not recommend this stay. washroom are more than worst please check picture in attach.

I was disappointed in this hotel. Would not recommend. The rooms are very basic and small. Everything is old and seems to fall apart. My room was on the 4th floor (top floor) and it was sooo warm on the corridors! I was happy I could open the big window fully to let it breath fresh air. Concierge was not impressed at all with the complaints about the heath, nothing was done to improve it. The hotel is next to a busy road, which made me wear earplugs at night to cancel the noise.
Location is bad. No public transport options nearby (15 minutes walk) and sharing bikes cannot be used in the area as alternative.
Only plus part I can think of is that the breakfast was okay.

It was really cheap, but the hotel is north of Leipzig in a really dodgy industrial area.
There is many sounds at night and a big train station out side. No AC "hot rooms"
The carpet was really dirty "white spots"
We're not coming here again

Just horrible. Rooms and particularly bathroom/ toilet outdated and dirty. Staff rude and not at all helpful. Not particularly close to Messe Leipzig (20 mins walk, no proper public transport connection), very far away from city centre (you should have a car to get there).
