Weisenau Plaza
Mainz, Heiligkreuzweg 108 🧭 Map
things are well organised, clean and tidy. People staying in the hostel are mostly friendly. Staff is helpful. Pets friendly. The room for 4 people with a terrace is awesome.
Cozy rooms, not very large, each floor has a shower and toilet, a basement for a kitchen and a laundry
Room ok, but toilets could be bigger, a sink for guests and construction workers not good and after the BIG the construction workers are cleaned .....
Cozy rooms, clean, attentive service, lots of different utensils in the kitchen.

Hotel zum Schnackel
Mainz, Boelckestr. 5 🧭 Map
For the money you paid good hotel, sleeping excellent, but have no restaurant, no bar except breakfast
Affordable yet clean and comfortable. It was in a little town but 5 to 10 minutes to some good restaurants & walking around areas. The bed was great 👍🏼 everything was clean and our room had a little mini kitchen area. The place has a rustic and chill vibe. Also, free parking next to the property
Very clean and such friendly staff. Great place to stay and a lovely quiet area would highly recommend
Clean room, and decent furnishing. But breakfast and friendliness at the reception need to be drastically improved.
New rooms looking good since my last visit 3 years ago.
Very nice and simple persons. Ask for something and they will try to please you.

It is described as a budget hotel (it is certainly not three star, more one star) and it is just that. I would say €75, which I paid for a room was too much. There are only limited hours when a member of staff is available.
Basic and affordable budget accommodation within industrial area. Never had breakfast myself.
Vending machine for snacks and drinks in lobby.
Self-check in via machine - have your booking code and smartphone camera (code for room displayed on screen only) ready!
Excellent service from the management and staff. Love the place. Suitable for business travellers.
Low cost, clean, basic chain hotel. Choice of queen bed with upper single bunk or double side by side single beds. Walking distance to streetcar stop, Mc Donalds, Subway or Döner joint. Rooms have private toilet, shower stall, sink, color flat screen, No telephone. Free wifi plus higher speed paid data internet. Around 7 euros for all you can eat breakfast rolls, bread, cold cuts, cheese, jams. Yogurt...
The lady in the morning during breakfast could not be more rude. We had an over night stay for a business meeting in the area but keep in mind we were the 2 ladies in there: hotel was filled with overnight workers and we didn't had any problems but didn't felt as safe as we wished.
The rooms are clean and big enough, but the shower is like almost in the middle of the room behind a glass door. So if you want private space, maybe you should look somewhere else.

Hotel Terminus
Mainz, Alicenstraße 4 🧭 Map
The owner is a gem! He felt like family. The location a stone’s throw from the train station was super-convenient. The biggest drawback was the lack of air conditioning. The weather during our stay was very hot, and our room was a bit like a sauna. Afternoons and evenings were pretty rough — had to stay hydrated.
If you want a luxury resort, this isn't your place. If you want a safe, quiet, clean, and above all convenient place to sleep, this is it. Just steps away from the train station, beautiful central Mainz is very walkable from here. It's a small place with personal service. If I ever get a chance to go back, I'll certainly stay there again. Mainz is beautiful, by the way.
Well run, excellent location, friendly service at all times
Quiet, small hotel in the family estate, in a prime location directly at the main station. First we were confused because of the other reviews, but we got a good price and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness.
We met the boss and his wife personally, he gave a lot of tips on sightseeing in the city.
We were satisfied and would book again!

B&B Hotel Mainz-Hechtsheim
Mainz, Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Straße 23 🧭 Map
Near motorway, clean, small rooms, adequate for a one night stay, no more free parking though.
Family friendly
We have two kids and it was a perfect size for us. The bunk bed is comfortable as well as our bed. The water is warm as soon as you turn it on. The breakfast is surcharge but it was all worth it. My favorite part is the unlimited coffee and the cheese 😋. Friendly staffs.
A B&B hotel with a slightly bigger family room than we experienced at other locations. Used as stopover location as easily accessible from motorway. Located in an industrial area with only a Subway and garage nearby for food, although we didn't use either. Room clean and well laid out with bunk beds and air con as usual in B&B family room. Free parking.
The rooms were adequately equipped and clean. The breakfast buffet was small, but had everything you need. However, we found the cleaning service annoying. We had specifically said at check-in that we did not want cleaning, but the service came into our room three times in one day without knocking. After the first time and the statement that no cleaning was required, it should not happen again. It...
the parking was good, accomodation was well
The hotel room was clean and nice. I really liked the hotel and the services provided with cheap hotel price.

GuestHouse Mainz
Mainz, Kaiserstraße 20 🧭 Map
This hotel proved very convenient being close to the station and a short walk to the marketplace and old town. Our room was well appointed with a good bathroom, - with nice amenities. The little ‘kitchen’ had a sink, a kettle and coffeemaker plus a microwave and stove. We had a terrace with a view to the cathedral, where we sat with a beer and some sun. The staff were very friendly . The breakfast...
A great location, across from a large park but easy walking distance to train station and Dom. Larger room with good sized bath with super shower. Had no problem storing bikes. They might want to upgrade television package for guests (nothing but local channels). Breakfast was good. If we return to Mainz we would look forward to staying here again. Bravo to the great staff!
I stayed in a studio room, small but very well designed, with everything I needed: ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, fridge, hob & microwave. I asked for a quiet room, and my room was just that. The front desk staff are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast offered all that I'd want: cereal, yoghurt, fruit juice and hot drinks. The position is excellent, an easy walk from the main train station. The...
Through the recommendations of friends we decided to stay here and we were not disappointed at all. There was a hiccup on my part for the after hours check in but luckily for a us a staff worker from Croatia helped us navigate the check in. Rooms are large, comfortable, clean and very quiet. You can even do limited meal preparation in your room. Like a previous comment all staff are very friendly and...
My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The facility is in excellent shape and is cleaned daily. The interactions with all of the staff was just great, friendly, polite, and professional all at the same time. Eager and willing to answer questions, or provide advice, to make the stay more enjoyeable. The breakfast put out daily is sufficient for what you need to get your day started; sandwiches...
Exceeded all my expectations. Very much recommended. Value for money.

Good hotel for the price. Conveniently located just a 5–6 minute walk from Mainz Hbf. Rooms are spacious and clean, including the bathroom. Staffs are friendly too.
I recommend trying their breakfast buffet—it’s a nice option.
Note for the owner: Please ensure the breakfast items are monitored regularly. On one occasion, I noticed hairs on a cold cut platter.
We were traveling for business, and the events were very close to the hotel. Everything was perfect for us, and the value for money was excellent.
The hotel was well specified and offered good value for money. The reception staff were very helpful and the booking process was flawless. As a small group of 4 friends (2 couples) travelling down from Brussels by train and stopping for a few nights in Mainz, the hotel served our purpose very well. Google maps did not show the tunnel under the railway line that was the shortest route from the hauptbahnhof...
My mom lives only a short walk away from the hotel and this was the perfect location. A short walk from the train station. The staff was always friendly and willing to answer any questions. Breakfast was delicious. The mattress was way more than comfortable. Our stay was amazing. The room was always spotless. I would come back any time.
Very friendly staff, we had a problem with a broken toilet so we got upgraded straight away to a better room.
Location is also perfect, walkable to city center.
There is also no sound from the trains/traffic hearable in the rooms.
Good price for nice clean room.
We didn't have breakfast here, in the city there are better options.
Best price/quality ratio, everything you need for a short stay is here.
Super friendly stuff! Service is very important, very. English speaking.
The parking place is free and available, but not always easy to find.
Literally the hotel is located on Bahnhof, but it's not noisy at all when the window is closed.
I don't mind choosing this hotel again for a stay.

Draiser Hof
Mainz, Daniel-Brendel-Str. 2a 🧭 Map
Family room with 4 people and a dog. Clean big room. The shower had a shower curtain - no longer up-to-date or for some an absolute exclusion criterion. Free parking and WiFi and no breakfast.
We stayed in the deluxe apartment with 2 adults and 2 children. The place was completely enough. The apartment was very clean and well equipped.
When booking, emphasis is placed on the note "passage room". The DGZ is the living room, which also has a double bed, the kitchen and the sitting area.
There is a deduction for the bathroom, which rinses itself every minute, and the lack of space for clothes...
We stayed here for two days for a wedding. The accommodation is clean, tidy and nice and rustic. There is a TV, comfortable beds and a very charming inner courtyard (see photo). We felt good! The possibility of picking cherries and apricots, which is only a good 500m away from the house, is also great.

We felt very welcome the moment we stepped into the hotel, our room was already available, charging point was very easy to access for our electric car. And within walking distance you have a cool grafiti park and small shopping center. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to get something to drink or eat. It was a perfect stay for us as a family. And really enjoyed the friendlyness and hospitality...
Location is close to the train station, rooms are nice. One of the managers was very helpful but another one gave me nothing but attitude and was incredibly rude.
English speaking staff. Good air-conditioning. Basic hotel but clean. The reception is not 24 hour, so remember to call ahead if you are checking in late.
Great central location, perfect place for an evening drink at Casper’s Garden!
Lovely big rooms, high ceilings & shutters.
No air-con, but didn’t affect us at all.
Great stay, thank you!
Clean and friendly hotel in a quiet side street just 5 mins from the main railway station. This is a good stopover for business or travel. We stayed 3 nights, spacious room overlooking the street , water in the room on arrival, absolutely lovely breakfast with a big selection of fresh foods. No kettle in room but hot water available for drinks from reception. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly...

Super nice staff, well located (at least one can access the city center very easily with the bus). Super comfortable room, and very clean. The only problem is with the WiFi hotspot, that never worked for me. I recommend it!
To achieve something outside but with the Bus well and often (every 10 minutes). The rooms are well equipped and clean. Breakfast was neat. Wi-Fi in the rooms is not possible.

Zwei Raben Pension
Mainz, Dammweg 7b 🧭 Map
Good resting place for a weekend.
This is an okay place to stay and rest for a weekend after a long flight from Australia. The cement factory next door gets noisy on Monday morning, the day we left. There is no elevator so beware of heavy suitcases. There is a nice walk to the Rhine river through a forested area. The supermarket nearby is closed on Sunday’s. Finding something to eat nearby is a challenge...
Great place for a very quiet stopover
This is a great place for a stopover. The room we had was large, comfortable & immaculately clean!
Plenty of parking.
It is in a kind of industrial area that’s true - but it’s extremely quiet and only 2 - 300 yards walk from supermarkets etc…
The lady who owns the complex was extremely helpful and friendly.
WiFi is very good too.
Definitely would recommend...
Clean room, clean bathroom, smells good, internet works nice.
The Pension has good reviews, but I didn't like it. 1) The area is isolated and there are very few weak lights. So it was pretty scary. There is no reception(room card is from a dispenser), which makes the isolation even worse. 2) The building itself has 0 charm. It looks like an apartment building from the soviet era (inside and out). 3) the room itself was ok, but the beds were extremely skinny....
The rooms are fine. Some rooms include kitchens. The two staff members I met were very nice. The location seemed a little odd at first (right on the edge of an industrial area) but actually quite convenient. It's right by a freeway and there's a pharmacy, restaurants, grocery stores, and a train station all within a couple minute drive.
