Best Hotels in Mainz

Nice good place for short stay. We were a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). Had to take two rooms adjascent to each other. Enough space (not like those botique hotels) and with lift access

Bring your soap, tooth brush, paste etc. You can get uber or taxi by apps below the hotel and walk to some supermarkets and ccentral train station at Mainz (7-12 mnts)

That said, the beds were super comfy—exactly what we needed after a long day. Breakfast was okay—small selection but they had a mini pancake maker (my favorite!) and plenty of cappuccino machines

The room didn’t have a kitchenette, which we expected, and there wasn’t really anywhere to hang or store our clothes, which made unpacking a bit tricky for a longer stay

I think that if I was staying in Mainz again I'd pick somewhere closer to the old town, and somewhere with better evening meal options and much better bedding

Location OK, 1km+ from the station and start of the old town - this walk got a little tedious after a while. Room clean and largely sound proofed

Stayed for 2 nights. The interior, staff, service - all exceed expectations and super nice! Room view was awesome. Also - the spa, you have to be there, super good!

excellent hotel at a perfect location. The view on rhine river is excellent and the historic city center and Roman remains are within walking distance

Best location right on the river just 1minute from downtown. Everything you need, spa, pool, sauna, huge tasty breakfast and great bar.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location and view couldn’t have been better. The shower head is on the ceiling which my husband loved. Fortunately, they gave us a shower cap so it worked for me too

Gorgeous view from the room and fantastic hotel and staff! Location is very good as well as its right next to the Rhine river and a very short walk from Old Town

Extremely friendly staff and very good breakfast. Overall we felt very comfortable. 

One of the best restaurants in my opinion.

Although we only stayed here for a night, it's the best stay ever from the service, design and comfort of the hotel. Strongly recommended to anyone who visits Wisbaden.

The standard of domestic convenient hotels, overall clean and tidy. But the room is relatively small, and the aisle is a bit narrow when a large suitcase is spread out. There is nothing to eat around

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were extremely kind and polite. Great access to bus, tram, bikes, and scooters. Close to the industrial area, which makes it perfect for business trips

The food in both restaurants is very good and their wine selection is quite remarkable for a reasonable price. All in all, this is a recommended place for business or leisure trips!

We stayed at the Atrium Hotel for 3 days, on the first evening we had a wonderful 3 course menu in the restaurant, which was freshly prepared. It was delicious! Thanks to the kitchen

Pure well-being, the rooms are stylishly furnished, of course clean, which is to be expected in this beautifully furnished hotel. A beautiful spa area invites you to relax

in summary: we really enjoyed our stay and when we are back in Mainz, we will of course check into the Atrium Hotel again!!! It was wonderful 🤩

We had a great time at the Atrium Hotel! The staff are very friendly and accommodating, they don't seem at all fake

The perfectly mixed cocktails are also worth mentioning. we haven't had such delicious cocktails in a long time

The service is warm - friendly and has always been in a good mood. We also often get half a chicken for home, which always tastes very good. We have nothing to complain about. There are full and solid 5 stars for this

The hotel is ok, cleanliness is important. The breakfasts could only be a little richer. I miss a regular tomato and possibly a small coffee croissant. The rest of the stuff is ok.

The restaurant is generally nice. Staff is relevant and polite. But I didn't like the portions of the food.

The Best Western is a pretty standard mega-chain hotel. The staff are professional and speak English well. The rooms are pretty standard and the beds comfortable

This unfortunately meant that I struggled to fall asleep at night as the next room guests had late night conversations or their TV was on until late; and on one of occasion I could not go back to sleep in the middle of the night as the next room snoring was quite audible and disturbing

I had a comfortable experience. The room was clear, comfortable, and quiet. The staff and services were great.

I stayed for a week-long business trip and it would have helped to have a larger douvet and a small fridge (but it was my own negligence not to notice that the hotel did not offer this amenity)

Other than that, the room was rather spacious, very clean and the staff seemed friendly although I had no need to interact with them apart from checking in and out

A base for exploring the Rhine. Breakfast was good, the room clean, although was looking a little tired as was the hallways in places hence 4* I am being picky

Check in was seamless, rooms are good with comfortable beds, coffee machine along with tea kettle & tea. Loved the breakfast as it had a great variety. Very close to central area & very accessible with car or by foot

Staff are pleasant and helpful, and the location is very good, 10mins walk to central Mainz

I recently wrote that the pool was only open between 7:00 PM & 9:00 PM. This is incorrect (there was an error on their bulletin board). The pool is open starting at 7:00 AM.

It was clean and well looked after, even in times of Corona. What made it 5 stars for me was: we left a bottle of wine in the fridge by accident. A quick call and we have organized a way for it to return to us

Everything I needed for a short term stay I got here. Good place with nice staff. Asked for a higher room for a better city view - got it! Definitely recommend!

It was all good (location, staff, breakfast, clean) but the shower is in the room basically. Plus, there was no way to turn off the AC and I was pretty cold

Due to time circumstances, I only stayed for a relatively short time in this stylish hotel. The check-in was friendly and fast and a was assigned a room on one of their upper floors

Tip: the lockers are on the 6th floor but the robes, slippers, and the sauna is on the 7th floor, so you need to go up, get your stuff, change, and then go back up

One major caveat: this is somewhat common in Europe, but, no matter what you do, the temperature in the room was pretty hot if you are used to AC in the US

A very good hotel, the staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous, the rooms have always been cleaned in an exemplary manner

The rooms are small like you'd expect at a German hotel, but the beds are large and comfortable, showers are the best I've seen, and the room design is very pleasant with options for direct or soft lighting

Easy location being across the street from the train station. Staff was very helpful, friendly, and offered information about our time in Mainz. AC worked very well! Bathroom was large with great shower also very clean

Beds were good but pillows were very flat. They did have extra pillows to stack up but I’m the type of person that needs a supportive pillow. Location is easy walk to grocery and restaurant

Attentive staff and good breakfast take the edge off an otherwise unsatisfactory experience. They're doing the best with what they have, and should be commended, but the decor is shabby and could do with modernising.

5 l bottle of water free of charge, free Wi-Fi and the best was when I travelled with my parents, we have a triple room booked but the operation has offered us, we get a two-bed room and a single room for the same price

RECEPTION was SUPER FRIENDLY:the room was a little small but sufficient and clean. Best of all, the super Breakfast. I would like to have every day. Delicious!! worth to stay there. 100 % thanks to the hotel management

I enjoyed my stay at the TOP Hotel Hammer in Mainz. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the room was good and quiet. I would recommend visitor to stay at his hotel for a stay in Mainz

Just opposite Mainz Hbf with less than 1 minutes walk but very quiet, so it is very convenience whilst good view to see the X'mas market outside the Hbf.

Close to main train station - but that comes with the noise in the late evening, unfortunately. Bed is not a large single bed, it's two beds connected - not very comfortable

Location was very convenient being close to railway station however the negative was that the room was very noisy unless the windows were closed making the room stuffy

The area outside the hotel was less than desirable with intoxicated people in the street congregating around the bus stop although this is not the fault of the hotel

And the staff gave us drinking glasses for a little party for a birthday in our group, and chilled the drinks in the fridge. The hotel is very inclusive for guests and staff

Good relation price and benefit!

The bathroom had some of their best times already behind itself. The Hotel itself is quite ok and the staff is helpful and friendly

To reach from the train station very quickly ( 5 minutes walk) and from the Hotel to the centre of Mainz is in the evening reach with its beautiful old town is also within walking distance

Great modern Hotel with very friendly staff. However, it is said, in the meantime, Guesthouse Mainz and not the Hotel Austria. The rooms are modern furnished, bright and beautifully cut

The house is centrally located in Mainz, Germany, (10 minutes walk to the main train station). Look forward to my next visit
