Where to stay in Mainz

Good rooms. We had a premium room on 4th floor. Pretty quiet, at this time at least. Rooms were clean and good. Bed was ok. Free wifi had enough bandwidth for watching some streams. There was a small kitchen with microwave and a capsule coffee maker. A small fridge for a few 1.5 liter bottles and stuff. A safe big enough for a 14" notebook.

Hotel is clean and service is ok. Free street parking is avaialble. However, there is no fridge or coffee machine or kettle in the room. One the day of check out at about 10am, housekeeping open the room door without knocking :(

Friendly staff, 10 min's walk to the central Train station, nice room!

Lovely hotel with very welcoming people and nice breakfast. Only downside was the parking for me. Not enough spaces nearby (we got lucky). Near a trainstation (no noise) just for those wanting something close by. We were there during a wine festival so we had a nice night out. It’s a decent walk to the center. It was a bit confusing to find at first—it’s labeled as the niu on the outside, not Holiday Inn, so we didn’t realize we were at the right place right away. Nice good place for short stay. We were a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). Had to take two rooms adjascent to each other. Neat rooms. This hotel has for sure the nicest view in Mainz, and only a few minutes from the city center. Just be aware that the rooms with view to the Rhein-river obviously have different categories, hence prices, to avoid being disappointed.

Very nice location - it is easy to reach the sights of Mainz and also to have a stroll along the river. During my stay there was some construction, that was not very pleasant. Also, make sure you are staying in the main building, or you will have to walk a long way with luggage... and help was not offered, although I had 2 suitcases. European hotel rooms tend to be small and drab - that was the case...

We loved everything about this hotel. The location and view couldn’t have been better. The bed was comfortable. The shower head is on the ceiling which my husband loved. Fortunately, they gave us a shower cap so it worked for me too.

Although we only stayed here for a night, it's the best stay ever from the service, design and comfort of the hotel. Strongly recommended to anyone who visits Wisbaden.

One of the best restaurants in my opinion.

Overall it's not bad, but the level of cleanliness leaves much to be desired: during our three weeks of stay the floor was not washed even once.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were extremely kind and polite. The price was excellent. Great access to bus, tram, bikes, and scooters. Close to the industrial area, which makes it perfect for business trips. Breakfast quality and variety were also good. I just don’t understand why hotels don’t provide slippers. The room facilities are too simple, the mattress is too soft and my waist is very tired when sleeping, the carpet is very dirty, the hotel interior is very simple, not suitable for travel and living for more than 2-3 days; the front desk staff is cold and unenthusiastic, it is five bus stops away from the train station and a 6-minute walk from the supermarket.

We have danced at many weddings and can say that you will find the perfect wedding venue here. Booked at short notice and it's surprisingly nice and modern hotel for the price. Everything appears to be recently refurbished. No problems checking in late at night. Stayed here for 8 nights and liked the hotel in general. A very simple 2 star hotel with not much to offer, but it has everything you need. Stayed here while on a business trip. Rooms were decent and clean. Air con didn't work great but maybe that was just the room I was in. Service and staff were good. Only had breakfast here but it was good with a good choice.

Very tasty, home-style dishes. The service is warm - friendly and has always been in a good mood. We also often get half a chicken for home, which always tastes very good. We have nothing to complain about. There are full and solid 5 stars for this. A real Mainz tip!

The hotel is clean and suitable for rest. The downside is that there are limited buses to Mainz, making transportation a bit challenging.

All in all a good place to stay. A quirky policy of requiring a 10 euro security deposit to borrow their umbrella. It seems to me that they should let you borrow it and and charge the fee if you fail to return the umbrella or damage it somehow the staff was friendly and willing to help

Good clean hotel, in a residential area about 15-20 minute walk from the main square in Mainz. Balcony was a bonus - and being near to a supermarket was good too. Staff were friendly. The location is very central. I was able to check in at any time; I used the contactless check-in after reception opened. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. One small drawback is that there was no air conditioning and the fan didn't work. I would avoid the hotel during the height of summer, but otherwise I would be happy to stay there again.

Since the hotel I was staying at was full, I booked this hotel for my daughter because it was only a few minutes away from our hotel. Family friendly We have two kids and it was a perfect size for us. The bunk bed is comfortable as well as our bed. The water is warm as soon as you turn it on. The breakfast is surcharge but it was all worth it. My favorite part is the unlimited coffee and the cheese 😋. Friendly staffs.

A B&B hotel with a slightly bigger family room than we experienced at other locations. Used as stopover location as easily accessible from motorway.
