The room cleaning team must have been on holiday. Even after asking only the bare necessities were done. That said... as was the WiFi. Spotty at best. Other than that, the rooms are fine and comfy and the on place restaurant is decent. Though they can't seem to make a soft cooked egg for breakfast.

Excellent hotel with excellent care. We are now coming here for the fifth time. Every visit is enjoyed with the enthusiasm of the owners and staff. The principle is 'you ask and we deliver'. The extensive breakfast and the four-course menu are of top quality. We have booked for the sixth time.

Superb hotel in a superb location. Rooms are perfect in any sense. Food is very good and very nice size. I only used the pool, but the moments spent there were bliss.

I was there for the first time with a customer. The food was regional, Baden and highly recommended. We visited the restaurant, and didn't stay in the rooms. The restaurant is fine with a decent menu, and plenty of options for vegetarians. The service can be improved, especially one or two staff members, who aren't friendly.

Can't speak to the hotel, but the restaurant offerings are delicious! We got our evening meal there twice and visited again for breakfast. Excellent service, excellent food. (A bit pricey. Well worth it though.)

I stayed here in the late 80's and early 90's for family skiing vacation finding it online brings back so many great memories for me. I hope someday to return to visit the Sonneck and the Feldberg-Schwarzwald area. I am happy to see that this place is still vibrant and well run.

We picked this hotel and location for our first vacation with our puppy, and it was such a pleasant experience. The staff, location and offering of the hotel made it relaxing and fun for both us and the puppy. There are lots of things to do in the area and our highlight was the dog friendly lake a short distance away.

Very attentive, friendly staff. The rooms are clean and, in my opinion, equipped with everything you need. The breakfast offers a good selection. Bread rolls must be ordered the day before. We stayed in apartment 1 for a short skiing holiday. The booking was quick and easy. The apartment is clean and cozy, the kitchen is well equipped. The contact with the landlords was friendly and pleasant.

It's been a while since we were there so this review is long overdue. Very nice and well-equipped small apartment, clean and with that certain something. Whether skiing or spending a weekend with our dog - we thought it was great and look forward to seeing you :)

Just reviewing the restaurant. This is my favourite restaurant to visit in the Black Forest and it is the service that really makes it for me. The waitstaff is professional and attentive and always have a fitting recommendation from the wine menu. The atmosphere is charming and cozy and the food is always very tasty.

We went for a lovely diner at Restaurant Peterle. They provided a menu that is translated to English which is very nice. They offer daily menus as well. The food is very delicious and they offer a lot of explanation with the dishes. We are coming again!

Amazing food and drinks served by friendly and funny staff. Most of the ingredients are delivered by local producers and the quality of the food is outstanding! The view from the balcony is pretty nice. You can spot some cows, hills and a pretty view down the little valley. It is further away from tourist traps and I would consider it a hidden gem of the area.

Me as a representative of my company. I have arrived at the apartment. The rooms aren't bad, but the floors are very bad, it hasn't been painted in a long time. And the problem is the heating which didn't work. I advise you to refresh the apartment, paint the windows, apply acrylic and silicone. The rooms of the pension are big enough, but quite spartan. However, since you will be on the road anyway, that's perfectly fine with me. I particularly like the option of being able to check in flexibly. So you are not tied to the given times.
