Exceeded expectations! Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Location is great! Cute area, nice to walk around, Very German. Definitely would be back! Breakfast was ok, bread, cheese, ham, bit of fruit , juice , coffee , water. It has a gym, tiny but does the job.

We stayed here for 9 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. The room was good, had a closet for clothes, no drawers, room was spacious, bed comfortable, staff were great. The only thing is their Buffett breakfast is too expensive, 17.50 Euro per person. There is a bakery up the street behind the church, it had some great breakfast sandwiches, so we chose to eat there. Rooms and hotel were very clean and very attractive. I found the problem-free check-in very good. Unfortunately only limited parking spaces. If these are occupied, there is no possibility of parking nearby.

We were here for a fantastic meal about 2 years ago and were very impressed. Since then the concept has changed considerably. No amuse bouche only baguette was the first noticeable difference. Lovely hotel in paradise. 10 minutes from city center and 10 minutes to highway. Lovely quiet rooms in the middle of nature. Only thing I would recommend mosquito screens to be installed to avoid those little devil's coming into the room in the summer time as hotel is next to river and mosquitoes love this area. My favorite hotel!!! I often stay at this hotel due to business in the area. I am feeling like my second home now. All the staff are wonderful!! All the reception team all the restaurant staff and of course the cleaners !! all staff are wonderful and welcoming. I love the soups at the restaurant and the great breakfast, I enjoy working at the lobby area with the comfortable sofas and the ladies...

For what you pay, it's amazing. Staff is patient and very kind. Breakfast is great and there is lots of variety. Everyone can have a good breakfast here. Even special options for vegan/gluten allergies. Including fresh fruits/eggs/bacon/sausage/breads(croissants, etc)/fruit jellys/yoghurts and much more. It's noticeable that the rooms aren't 5 stars. But they definitely are clean and well cared for...

Good place,clean and easy to find

The staff is very and accommodating. The hotel is dated even though the rooms appear to be recently renovated. But even though it is right off of the highway, it's in a quite location. Big plus is the breakfast was Vegan Friendly!

Very friendly staff, hotelrooms were pretty and clean. Breakfast looked good, parking right in front of the hotel. Only small remark is: the walls are thin so we could hear when people would make noice or talk loudly. But besides that, perfect. Would go again.

Our stay at "Zum Schwanen" was amazing! The huge free parking just a few steps away on Schwanenplatz was a great convenience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and Christian went above and beyond, accommodating our special requests and providing extra storage for our equipment. Super nice guy and great chef!

My stay was great. Good room, service, rates and location (spend a few days doing meetings in Cologne and region). Surely will consider for future trips.

A small rather cute hotel. The standard is more on a 2 star than the stated 3 star level but still okay. The staff is friendly and breakfast standard with no thrills. The wifi is one of the worst I have encountered... impossible to work as it is on/off every few minutes...

No sauna, it was closed... It wasn't indicated anywhere on the booking site. We booked this hotel because of the sauna!

I like this hotel very much. It is quiet, clean, well-equipped, and has delicious breakfast. There is a concert hall at the door. I was lucky enough to come across a concert there. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand it, but the tune was pure European classical music.

This hotel is just off the city centre and hauptbahnhof, next to the local theatre. Rooms are clean but facilities are basic, and, on a cold night, wind whistles under the entrance door, if the toilet door is not tightly locked.
