Stayed here on a business trip. For business purposes it was fine. It is not near downtown so you will need to drive or take taxis to most places. Rooms were clean and fairly large for European standards but a bit basic. Well deserved 4 stars for this hidden gem. I’m not sure when they did a full makeover but everything looks really crisp. Beds are perfect, rooms are nice for both work and leisure visits. Also breakfast is really good with a rich assortment of foods and freshly pressed oranges. I will try the bar later this week.

Was recently a guest at the Gräfrather Hof - from booking to check out everything was perfect. Clean modern rooms and very friendly staff. We had a great time here and would love to return. I can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience!

Service not what we expected, new manager appears to have started this week. For a four star hotel was a little tired, coffee machine in room would have been good Travelodge have managed it! Code access, parking, small gym. Location were perfect for me since i needed to stay nearby the hospital. However, edges of the bed was dirty.

We booked "Deluxe Junior Suite" as there were 3 of us; according to Booking.com, there should be one single bed and one double bed - the single bed was in fact sofa bed, but still comfortable. Very nice room, nice concept. Breakfast was good as well. Clean rooms, wifi free, just the pillows were not so comfortable for me. Less parking places,, but I think was a very nice stay.

Very modern hotel. There is no front desk or any staff. You use an access code to enter, which means that you can check in at any time and there is no checkout. Comfortable bed and a spacious room. There is a nice bakery 30 seconds walk, where you can get breakfast. They have vending machines at reasonable prices on site too.

Entschuldigung Sie bitte, ich habe schlecht deutsch. This Hotel is nice On the Inside and the staff is very friendly. My biggest complaints (as an American) are: the parking is very hard to spot, the entrance for any non-compact car is very narrow, and the road is undergoing construction that makes it hard to find the way to the hotel. Overall,a good experience at this hotel.

I come here 2 or 3 times a year and the hotel isn't beautiful but the rooms are big, the bed comfortable and the breakfast great.

No frills, but clean with a very accommodating staff. Very good value and convenient location in Solingen.

Affordable price, spacious rooms, good internet and close to public transport. Reception and personal were very helpful and kind. Also multilingual. Something definitely to consider!

An average stay where they don't easily trust their customers. You want a kettle, you need to deposit 20 Euros. You want an umbrella, deposit your room keys.. You have checked in, pay in full for the duration before the room keys are allocated..

Hotell with Sverre standard om the room recept the shower wich in nu room Only had a curtain and sås kind of narrow with things monter om the Wall such as soap schampo hand railing. Personal and breakfast on the other hand was really god än actually deserves 5 Stars

Bit old and slightly run down although not too bad. Staff is friendly and breakfast is ok but when staying more than one night the lack of facilities in the hotel (no bar, no real lobby) gets annoying just like the very frequent trains. Still an ok option for a short business stay if you need to be near the center of Solingen.

Price : i spent two nights 50 euro each in a Medika expo 2017 season wich is fair price for the service expectation . 2. Hygen and polution : fair and the staff is more than just friendly ? even my german was a little poor but they were serving with a loving-job like smile. And that made me adubt my expectations...

Lovely hotel in paradise. 10 minutes from city center and 10 minutes to highway. Lovely quiet rooms in the middle of nature. Only thing I would recommend mosquito screens to be installed to avoid those little devil's coming into the room in the summer time as hotel is next to river and mosquitoes love this area. This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. My father and I went there for lunch yesterday, and everything was perfect. The place was empty (but it is August...), yet we wanted to book again on the weekend and it was fully booked, I therefore strongly recommend a reservation (and probably a week ahead). A beautiful small hotel, located directly on the hillside, which offers a magnificent view. The room was just super nice, clean and the bathroom was very spacious. The breakfast was very tasty, rich and there were very tasty gluten-free rolls.

Clocky, somewhat low rooms and also rather narrow. But comfortable and functional. Bathroom is super developed for the little space. This is where the brain and heart go into it.

Fantastic service and the room was everything we needed. Loved the large pot of coffee they give you during breakfast. Neighbourhood is beautiful and we enjoyed going up the funicular 5min away from the inn, and exploring the medieval fortress on the top of the hill.

You get a clean room with TV, a chair and a bed. I was in the basement (basement). For 33 euros you should not expect luxury. I had the bathroom in the hall alone. There are other guest rooms in the house on the ground or first floor.

The owner/manager of the hotel was very polite and took care of our small requests. The room was nice and clean with all the basic amenities.

I am only judging the restaurant here and not the hotel. The restaurant impresses with a varied, albeit very meat-heavy menu. The dishes are all delicious and more than adequate in size. The tasty food is flanked by attentive and very friendly service, which always has an eye on the guests at their tables. Nice family-run hotel in a central location in Freyung. We were there 2 nights. Beautifully arranged breakfast buffet, egg dishes are freshly prepared. Had dinner in the restaurant once. Super delicious regional cuisine and great service, just like in the morning. In any case, the hotel is to be recommended! You feel welcome.
