Exceeded expectations! Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Location is great! Cute area, nice to walk around, Very German. Definitely would be back! Breakfast was ok, bread, cheese, ham, bit of fruit , juice , coffee , water. It has a gym, tiny but does the job.

We stayed here for 9 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. The room was good, had a closet for clothes, no drawers, room was spacious, bed comfortable, staff were great. The only thing is their Buffett breakfast is too expensive, 17.50 Euro per person. There is a bakery up the street behind the church, it had some great breakfast sandwiches, so we chose to eat there. Code access, parking, small gym. Location were perfect for me since i needed to stay nearby the hospital. However, edges of the bed was dirty.

We booked "Deluxe Junior Suite" as there were 3 of us; according to Booking.com, there should be one single bed and one double bed - the single bed was in fact sofa bed, but still comfortable. Very nice room, nice concept. Breakfast was good as well. Clean rooms, wifi free, just the pillows were not so comfortable for me. Less parking places,, but I think was a very nice stay.

Very modern hotel. There is no front desk or any staff. You use an access code to enter, which means that you can check in at any time and there is no checkout. Comfortable bed and a spacious room. There is a nice bakery 30 seconds walk, where you can get breakfast. They have vending machines at reasonable prices on site too.

We were here for a fantastic meal about 2 years ago and were very impressed. Since then the concept has changed considerably. No amuse bouche only baguette was the first noticeable difference. The food in each course was cooked with some obvious skill but lacked seasoning and for the price can only be described as adequate. Lovely hotel in paradise. 10 minutes from city center and 10 minutes to highway. Lovely quiet rooms in the middle of nature. Only thing I would recommend mosquito screens to be installed to avoid those little devil's coming into the room in the summer time as hotel is next to river and mosquitoes love this area. This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. My father and I went there for lunch yesterday, and everything was perfect. The place was empty (but it is August...), yet we wanted to book again on the weekend and it was fully booked, I therefore strongly recommend a reservation (and probably a week ahead). I come here 2 or 3 times a year and the hotel isn't beautiful but the rooms are big, the bed comfortable and the breakfast great.

No frills, but clean with a very accommodating staff. Very good value and convenient location in Solingen.

An average stay where they don't easily trust their customers. You want a kettle, you need to deposit 20 Euros. You want an umbrella, deposit your room keys.. You have checked in, pay in full for the duration before the room keys are allocated..

Hotell with Sverre standard om the room recept the shower wich in nu room Only had a curtain and sås kind of narrow with things monter om the Wall such as soap schampo hand railing. Personal and breakfast on the other hand was really god än actually deserves 5 Stars

Bit old and slightly run down although not too bad. Staff is friendly and breakfast is ok but when staying more than one night the lack of facilities in the hotel (no bar, no real lobby) gets annoying just like the very frequent trains. Still an ok option for a short business stay if you need to be near the center of Solingen.

Price : i spent two nights 50 euro each in a Medika expo 2017 season wich is fair price for the service expectation . 2. Hygen and polution : fair and the staff is more than just friendly ? even my german was a little poor but they were serving with a loving-job like smile. And that made me adubt my expectations...

It was fine for one night because it was very central. Although very old, everything was very clean, the boss was very friendly and the breakfast was ok.

My biggest complaints (as an American) are: the parking is very hard to spot, the entrance for any non-compact car is very narrow, and the road is undergoing construction that makes it hard to find the way to the hotel. Overall,a good experience at this hotel.

Stayed here on a business trip. For business purposes it was fine. It is not near downtown so you will need to drive or take taxis to most places. Rooms were clean and fairly large for European standards but a bit basic. Class Hotel The price-performance ratio fits absolutely. Directly in front of the Hotel free Parking spaces are sufficiently available. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean. The tasty food is flanked by attentive and very friendly service, which always has an eye on the guests at their tables. Nice family-run hotel in a central location in Freyung. We were there 2 nights. Beautifully arranged breakfast buffet, egg dishes are freshly prepared. Had dinner in the restaurant once. Super delicious regional cuisine and great service, just like in the morning. In any case, the hotel is to be recommended! You feel welcome.
