Incredible location and food quality. Defined the best real experience in the area

While we only had a quick drink after dinner here, I would like to commend the excellent wait staff and the fine selection of spirits. A locally produced Williams Pear Schnapps was especially good. The setting right by the lake provided a wonderful ambiance. I would love to return and try dinner as well.

Family-run hotel with charm. Ideal starting point for extensive hikes. The owners are super nice, everything is clean, and the beds are super comfortable. Overall a lovely hotel with breathtaking view of the lake. A little expensive taking into account there is no air conditioning and the bathroom shower head was broken. Such an incredibly beautiful location. Fantastic staff and facilities. The absence of air conditioning, while principled in reason, can be difficult in summer; and the shower temperatures can be variable. These are minor complaints however, I would return without any hesitation.

I was there for 1 week. The hotel is right on the lake and there is also a delicious breakfast. The staff is VERY nice and the rooms are nicely decorated. Unfortunately there is only breakfast for lunch or in the evening you have to reserve somewhere else.

The Landhotel Sonnenfeld can only be recommended. Big rooms but not all with showers. Breakfast very good, enough choice of cheese, and sausage, tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers, scrambled eggs with bacon. Dinner simple, quick food, but plentiful, breadcrumbs finite, but everything was edible. We were all inclusive, so you could even take a packed lunch with you.

At the beginning of the month we shared a few rooms in the guest house. We were very satisfied, the rooms are wonderful, very clean and the hosts were TIPTOP. I loved my stay at the Askania Hotel. The location is great, the personal is very kind, the style keeps the magic of the old wooden mountain houses. Special mention to the breakfast. We booked an apartment 100m away from the main building. Well they can’t do anything about the weather so this time we were in our Junior Suite more than usual. It is really comfortable and of course spacious. It has a great view of the lake and is the only hotel in Bad Wiessee with direct access to swimming. This is our go to quiet destination for relaxing. This place is amazing! We had reserved two rooms. One single and one junior suite. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and clean. Hotel staff called me and left my keys and the instructions for after hours check in. It was easy. Parking is on the premises, free. Breakfast in am. We visited this place during a trip through Oberbayern. We got a Junior Suite with a very large room and a small kitchen. Unfortunately there was no table or desk where you could eat or work. My wife and I have just returned from Karma Bavaria after a seven night stay. It’s a great location and you’ll meet the most friendliest people here! We were looked after by Steve throughout our stay who has a great deal of local knowledge. It’s close to transport and shops and lakes. Other towns are all less than and hour on the train/bus.
