One of the mighty pluses of the guesthouse is the stunning view from the window. Everything is very clean, good comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Good restaurant with a standard menu. Slightly poor breakfast.

I stayed here 3 times so far, and I enjoyed it every time I am here. It feels like home away from home even though I stayed here mainly for business. This is also perfect for families who want to enjoy the surroundings of Ruhpolding. Please note that this hotel does not serve dinner, so anyone who reviewed this hotel complaining about bad dinner, they reviewed the wrong hotel or were paid by competitors...

Accommodation perfect - beautiful, clean, modern rooms. Stefanie and Harry - the owners of the best I met on my travels, Stefanie was very helpful and gave us lots of info about the area. Breakfast great - home like from mum :) . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I definitely recommend to all ! Thank you for everything.

This is indeed a very nice place to stay. It is easy to fi d and close to the center of Ruhpolding. The reception was very friendly and I was quickly helped getting a seat reserved at a local restaurant. My room was nice and large but with a tiny shower. The TV was likewise small but who cares. Breakfast is top notch with a great selection of cold cuts, cheese, yogurts, Müsli, bread, eggs, toast...

Zeer uitgebreid keukeninventaris zoals magnetron, oven, vaatwasser, senseo, koffie apparaat, broodrooster, vriezertje, grote koelkast en genoeg servies. Houtkachel in de woonkamer met hout. Op de begane grond een warme...

Immediately felt welcome. Our host has thought of everything a family might need during their stay. Was a lovely spacious apartment with wonderful views. The tax we paid was a bonus, giving us a local travel for free. We left the car at home and walked or used the public transport and lifts, saving us much money and being very convenient to access local walks. We hope to return again another time ourselves...

The holiday home is simply magical and leaves nothing to be desired. The owner is wonderful. We had a wonderful week and will definitely be back.

Everything is very nice and furnished in a modern Bavarian style. Above all, everything is available what you need on vacation and does not necessarily have to be brought from home. You can see the wonderful view and the panorama of the mountains from the balcony every day. From the house, many excursion destinations and sights can be easily reached on foot and by bike. We were able to fully enjoy...

Our vacation in the holiday house Eva was completely satisfactory and highly recommended for all those who are looking for a house with a great location, a beautiful view and a warm landlord. Very friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms, ideally positioned between Chiemsee and Konigssee. Breakfast way above average in terms of quality. We literally had nothing to complain about!

Great place, large comfortable rooms (separate bedroom, lounge room, bathroom), clean, friendly reception. Right in town, very short walk from train station. Tasty breakfast, with eggs cooked fresh to your liking. Dinner also very good and well priced. Excellent service.

We booked a week at the Alpenhotel Wittelsbach , opting for the romantic suite, to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The room itself was breathtaking. The service exceptional. Marus and Anya are amazing hosts. Ruhpolding is an excellent place for walking, recharging the batteries and generally enjoying the peace and tranquility of nature.

Being a British vedgetarian in the alps of Bravaria I knew that there were would problems with food. However, even though my mother emailed the hotel a week in advance and received a reassuring stating that being a vegetarian would be no problem and that they would have good food for us turned out not to be the case when we arrived. Very nice and clean hotel in a quiet location. Only a short walk to the center. Our room was very spacious with plenty of storage space. Nice shower room and small balcony. The breakfast buffet with enough choice for every taste. The owner and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were able to enjoy our vacation and would love to come back.

Very nice. Three of the room was a bit too small but it was very clean. Breakfast was rather poor. Often there were no more boiled eggs and the products were from the discounter. Otherwise everything is fine.

Eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberfamilie und es blieb immer Zeit für ein kurzes Gespräch. Die Einzelzimmer waren sehr groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Frühstück mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Das Abendessen im familienbetriebenen Restaurant war sehr lecker.

It's a very nice, small but modern restaurant. It can be seen that all dishes as prepared at the moment, very less from cans or refrigerated, everything tastes very good and fresh. Service is very good, there is always someone around taking care of your needs. They are very friendly and helping to know what to order. I would definitely come again if I'm somewhere here near.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms with plenty of space and storage. Nice selection for breakfast, easy parking and handy for town. Honesty bar for drinks was great. Will definitely stay again if we come this way.

We stayed one night only, and have plenty of good memories about it: quiet location, clean and cosy rooms (renovated!), drinks available 24/7 (self service, paid at check out), a very kind owner, delicilous breakfast and many others. Worth every euro spent there. Also the city of Ruhpolding is so nice, please take a walk around!

Loved this place. The owner is super nice and very welcoming, Wished we had a longer stay here. The whole place so clean with a family atmosphere. Spacious room with comfortable beds and great views from large balcony. Great variety and tasty, nutrious breakfast buffet. Would definetly love to go back there. Would give it a 5++++ star. A very hospitable house. Very clean, well-kept and well-equipped apartment. Home-baked Christmas cookies and a small Christmas tree greet the guest as they move in during the Christmas season. I would have liked to give 5 stars. Check out was scheduled for 10:00 a.m. That wasn't entirely stress-free, as the cleaning ladies asked to be let in at 9.45 a.m. Therefore one star less.

Very nice guest house with a good breakfast buffet. Rooms very clean and nicely furnished. In 15 minutes you can walk to the center of the village, where many restaurants can be found. Great starting point for many activities. Gladly again at any time.

Excellent structure, impeccable service, all clean, breakfast room to scream and available until late evening for tea and coffee, room for relaxation and games, hospitable and collaborative owners and collaborators, cuddly cats, in nature, close to breweries, typical restaurants and not, easily accessible paths. It is a pity to have to go home.

The stay at the Hotel Steffl was very nice and we felt very comfortable. We had a great time with our one-year-old daughter at the Chiemsee and in the mountains and felt absolutely welcome in the hotel! The quiet location, the beautiful garden and the warm manner of the Steffl family (not to forget the great breakfast and very tasty dinner) delighted us! Thank you 😊!

The hotel is very familiar and very, very friendly and clean. You feel welcome right from the start, you get enough information about excursion destinations and there is a sufficient breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. Inexpensive for Ruhpolding, although I don't know what it looks like when the Biathlon World Cup takes place there. We loved it and will come again. 👍👌 Thomas Felsch

Great view of the mountains and the Church of St. Georg, very nice family hotel with a great breakfast and only a ten-minute walk to the train station. Highly recommended.

Great accommodation, all very friendly, excellent food

As northern Germans, we only knew the mountains when they were snow-covered and we wanted to change that with the family. The Hotel Alpensonne was the perfect starting point for this. The rooms are great, the food is great. In addition, sauna, swimming pool, billiards and table tennis at really fair prices. Even the ChiemgauCard with 3 gondolas, football golf and a mammoth museum was included. Clear...

Nice place , well located , good breakfast , strict Corona meassures in place , pool and Sauna available.

It is very good place to stay for a week. Clean room, nice breakfast, normal service. Haus Alpine has a very good location in the Ruhpolding - 5 minutes to the Vita Alpina, 5 minutes to the center. You can park car near house, no problem.

Absolute guest-friendly, clean hotel.

The Gasthof can be found in the middle of the nature. Mountains, forest and alpine pastures all around. There is a waterfall nearby as well. The Gasthof itself is an old, traditional Bavarian building, but assembled with everything you need. Marc and Rachel, your hosts are fantastic humanbeings. The perfect place to spend your holiday. The food is delicious and not expensive. Also the owners are really friendly and will help you with anything. They know everything about the area and they will recommend the best places where you should go. Furthermore the location is beautiful and peaceful.
