Nice simple modern rooms, no fridge a minus, hot summer, no ac and big windows do not let cool air I very well. Front desk took a while to find in computer. Food tasty and nice selection. Very nice spa and pools. 10 euros to park leaves me a bit cold, but not a game changer. Overall, a very nice hotel, with a couple of glitches that can be easily fixed. Would recommend!

Wonderful view, high quality amenities, unfortunately small facilities with expensive entrance price. Further the whirlpool was as cold as the pool.

I can only suggest this hotel in Ruhpolding, Helds is amazing from all aspects, the staff are very friendly and supportive. Additionally, the food in the restaurant is very delicious.

This hotel is a gem! It’s in a small and quite village. Service is amazing, breakfast was always delicious. They have a restaurant and even a spa to relax at the end of the day!

This hotel is truly unique! Great location, great rooms, very good food. Everyone is nice, helpful and makes you feel at home. Definitely recommended. Unfortunately there is no pool, but all the other nice things make up for it.

This is a convenient place to explore the German Alps. The hotel is new and clean, located in the beautiful village of RuPauls Drag. The young hostess was friendly. The breakfast is also very tasty, with lots of raw vegetables.

Very friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms, ideally positioned between Chiemsee and Konigssee. Breakfast way above average in terms of quality. We literally had nothing to complain about!

We have been happy to find this restaurant, with an excellent service from the waiter, with nice atmosphere, and good food as well. We have pork chop, cordon bleu and beef. Pork chop was very tasty and the rest of the food was ok. If we will have another opportunity we'll be back.

Immediately felt welcome. Our host has thought of everything a family might need during their stay. Was a lovely spacious apartment with wonderful views. The tax we paid was a bonus, giving us a local travel for free. We left the car at home and walked or used the public transport and lifts, saving us much money and being very convenient to access local walks. We hope to return again another time ourselves...

The holiday home is simply magical and leaves nothing to be desired. The owner is wonderful. We had a wonderful week and will definitely be back.

Everything is very nice and furnished in a modern Bavarian style. Above all, everything is available what you need on vacation and does not necessarily have to be brought from home. You can see the wonderful view and the panorama of the mountains from the balcony every day. From the house, many excursion destinations and sights can be easily reached on foot and by bike. Our vacation in the holiday house Eva was completely satisfactory and highly recommended for all those who are looking for a house with a great location, a beautiful view and a warm landlord. We booked a week at the Alpenhotel Wittelsbach , opting for the romantic suite, to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The room itself was breathtaking. The service exceptional. Marus and Anya are amazing hosts. Ruhpolding is an excellent place for walking, recharging the batteries and generally enjoying the peace and tranquility of nature.

A very hospitable house. Very clean, well-kept and well-equipped apartment. Home-baked Christmas cookies and a small Christmas tree greet the guest as they move in during the Christmas season. I would have liked to give 5 stars. Check out was scheduled for 10:00 a.m. That wasn't entirely stress-free, as the cleaning ladies asked to be let in at 9.45 a.m. Therefore one star less.

Very nice guest house with a good breakfast buffet. Rooms very clean and nicely furnished. In 15 minutes you can walk to the center of the village, where many restaurants can be found. Great starting point for many activities. Gladly again at any time.

Excellent structure, impeccable service, all clean, breakfast room to scream and available until late evening for tea and coffee, room for relaxation and games, hospitable and collaborative owners and collaborators, cuddly cats, in nature, close to breweries, typical restaurants and not, easily accessible paths. It is a pity to have to go home.

Very nice and clean hotel in a quiet location. Only a short walk to the center. Our room was very spacious with plenty of storage space. Nice shower room and small balcony. Very nice. Three of the room was a bit too small but it was very clean. Breakfast was rather poor. Often there were no more boiled eggs and the products were from the discounter. Otherwise everything is fine.

As northern Germans, we only knew the mountains when they were snow-covered and we wanted to change that with the family. The Hotel Alpensonne was the perfect starting point for this. The rooms are great, the food is great. In addition, sauna, swimming pool, billiards and table tennis at really fair prices. Friendly, helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms with plenty of space and storage. Nice selection for breakfast, easy parking and handy for town. Honesty bar for drinks was great. Will definitely stay again if we come this way.

We stayed one night only, and have plenty of good memories about it: quiet location, clean and cosy rooms (renovated!), drinks available 24/7 (self service, paid at check out), a very kind owner, delicilous breakfast and many others. Worth every euro spent there. Also the city of Ruhpolding is so nice, please take a walk around!

A hidden gem! Everything about this place is perfect. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and have a great view. The breakfast was delicious. And the owner was super nice. I wish I stayed longer, next time I will for sure!

It's a very nice, small but modern restaurant. It can be seen that all dishes as prepared at the moment, very less from cans or refrigerated, everything tastes very good and fresh. Service is very good, there is always someone around taking care of your needs. They are very friendly and helping to know what to order. I would definitely come again if I'm somewhere here near.

I stayed here 3 times so far, and I enjoyed it every time I am here. It feels like home away from home even though I stayed here mainly for business. This is also perfect for families who want to enjoy the surroundings of Ruhpolding. Please note that this hotel does not serve dinner, so anyone who reviewed this hotel complaining about bad dinner, they reviewed the wrong hotel or were paid by competitors...

Accommodation perfect - beautiful, clean, modern rooms. Stefanie and Harry - the owners of the best I met on my travels, Stefanie was very helpful and gave us lots of info about the area. This is indeed a very nice place to stay. It is easy to fi d and close to the center of Ruhpolding. The reception was very friendly and I was quickly helped getting a seat reserved at a local restaurant. My room was nice and large but with a tiny shower. The TV was likewise small but who cares. Breakfast is top notch with a great selection of cold cuts, cheese, yogurts, Müsli, bread, eggs, toast...

The stay at the Hotel Steffl was very nice and we felt very comfortable. We had a great time with our one-year-old daughter at the Chiemsee and in the mountains and felt absolutely welcome in the hotel! The quiet location, the beautiful garden and the warm manner of the Steffl family (not to forget the great breakfast and very tasty dinner) delighted us! Thank you 😊!

The hotel is very familiar and very, very friendly and clean. You feel welcome right from the start, you get enough information about excursion destinations and there is a sufficient breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. Inexpensive for Ruhpolding, although I don't know what it looks like when the Biathlon World Cup takes place there. We loved it and will come again. 👍👌 Thomas Felsch

Great view of the mountains and the Church of St. Georg, very nice family hotel with a great breakfast and only a ten-minute walk to the train station. Highly recommended.

One of the mighty pluses of the guesthouse is the stunning view from the window. Everything is very clean, good comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Good restaurant with a standard menu. Slightly poor breakfast.
