I booked this as one of the few available rooms in Scharbeutz for our long weekend in the summer. Reading some of the reviews here and on Google made me fear I'd made a terrible mistake but actually it was all fine. First time here. Railway station is about 1km away. Hotel is in walking distance to the sand beach and most restaurants. Very nice welcoming check-in and also easy check-out. Good hotel in nice surroundings Nice area by the golfcource. Large and good room. Breakfast very good. Nice terrace to have a glas of wine in the evening. Irritating having to order by your mobile or a screen. The bar didn't recommend any wine and asked us to look digitally. Maybe modern times. To sum it up, a nice place to stay.

2x 18 hole golf course and close location to the city and other activities

If you don't golf, we would not recommend staying at this property. When we arrived it was quite crowded and it was not easy to park. We had to get a second room, as the first one was a climb of several flights of stairs. The restaurant food was nothing to write home about. A hotel where you feel comfortable. Here you can relax, go to the sauna and of course use the great swimming pool, which is what we did. The staff very attentive and very nice. Hotel is vey nice, with well equipped rooms, comfortable beds and various of atractions around. Very good breakfast, good lobby bar, nice hotel crew, parking, WiFi. That was our second stay and for sure we would back there when we would be around

Good and clean and good breakfast and friendly staff

My partner and I stayed at the Ancora Hotel for a short vacation, we were very satisfied! :-) The hotel is in the second row, the bus stop and private parking space are directly from the door. It takes a maximum of 2 minutes to walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the city center. The hotel is quite centrally located but quiet. The room was very good, but there is a star deduction because of the very small closet. We almost just lived out of a suitcase. I take another star because of the WiFi that we couldn't use. Breakfast was ok.

The Hotel was really fantastic. As a family and friend with two kids. We booked two rooms. We came in the hotel very early and our room was ready. We didn't wait. Location and service was awesome. It is near also at the beach to take the sun anytime. We will plan again next year. Maybe that time all renovation are finished. 5 star for flamingo.

Nice small rooms. We had one with a view on the balcony of neighbouring hotel, so the curtains were always closed. Breakfast is tasty and fitting, includes champagne. Minus: very cold water in the swimming pool, bad sound insulation (one can hear the elevator going up and down all niggt long)

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were super attentive and friendly. The rooms - spacious and well furnished. The hotel has a very lovely vibe about it. Breakfast which is included in the room price was delicious, fresh and healthy. Coffee was good too. We enjoyed the hotel gym as well which is good and well equipped for a hotel gym. We were this summer for the 5th time in this comfortable and top located hotel. This time we were again completely satisfied. Service and the well-being of the guests is the top priority here and therefore even unusual wishes are personally fulfilled (thanks again to the owner Mr. Lehmann and his team 😉) We will definitely come a sixth time!!

I came by just for a coffee at the terrace and it was quite dissappointing. I mean 5 star hotel and you get a cappuccino from an automat... Please, please, buy a proper machine and employ barista. On the other hand, service was really nice (which saved this place from 1 star..).

The hotel from the 19th century exudes a personal atmosphere. Comfortable rooms, personal welcome, good breakfast frame the stay. Holiday begins where you can let yourself go. Coming back here from the hustle and bustle of the promenade or the beach gives the stay at the sea the alternation of excitement and relaxation. Thank you for everything.

The hotel is located in Niendorf on the main street in the second row to the beach. This can be reached on foot in under a minute and is nowhere near as crowded as e.g. in Timmendorfer-Strand or Scharbeutz, which we liked again more than usual during this time (Corona). The rooms are partly freshly renovated with a lot of passion and we felt very comfortable. Ms. Hagge and her staff were always approachable...

We stayed there for a week in early July. And it was perfect. A small family hotel, close to the center but quiet. Very cozy! The room was spacious with everything you would need on vacation. Have been there for 5 days now. Everything was great, from breakfast to the cleanliness of the rooms, which were perhaps a bit old, but we slept very well, the staff and the hosts were excellent. Not top modern, but a family house to feel good with super friendly staff. Highlights are the extensive breakfast and the parking lot directly behind the hotel (right in the center of Travemünde!). Gladly again!
