5 star hotels in Scharbeutz

A truly superb hotel, deserving in every aspect of their 5-star rating. The rooms were spacious & comfortable (as was the bed!) and the balcony was lovely. Bathrooms are modern & water pressure very good. The best part of this stay was the staff - incredibly professional, accommodating and knowledgeable about their business. The best kept secret in Scharbeutz. Wonderful hotel, but made even better by the most wonderful staff. The check in, the restaurant staff, the barman, all brilliant. Superb location, great food, and attached to the spa.

Even the though the rooms needed a bit of an update, the service was very friendly and it's very well located. You'll have direct access to the Ostsee Therme and to a private beach (pretty handy in COVID-19 times...). I also recommend the massage. ;)

Loved it, the service was excelent and you get treated like royalty, They have their own strawberry jam and marmelade, the hotel has a shore and a lake for the people staying on the hotel. I would really recommend it, if you are looking for a little bit of a nicer place you should definetly check this hotell out, the rooms were really nice and you get daily cleaning and room service if you want.

I have stayed here on 3 different occasions and it remains one of my favorite hotels. The breakfast alone is worth the trip, but the rooms are well appointed and the staff is very friendly. I've stayed in many hotels where they claim to be 5 star but they were lacking in many areas. That's just not the case here and I'm a little surprised at the harsh comments from other people.

Whenever I rate a hotel or restaurant I look at three things: a) service/courtesy I booked a room with seaview. When entering the room I found that it was obstructed seaview. Hence I contacted the reservation and was told that I must have overlooked the comment. I told them, that my reservation clearly mentions seaview. After 5 minutes I was offered a different room with the request to pay 60 Euros...

Wonderful breakfast at the terrace overlooking Trave.

This is an attractive old-style hotel with wide wooden staircase, high ceilings and grand seafront view. As you climb the stairs squeak in a low tone. We walked to our room through a sinuous corridor. It was quiet, beautifully furnished and the bathroom spacious. The swimming pool was empty, music was playing, water splashing against the walls. Nearby were four saunas, according to everybody's preference...

Very nice classic hotel with wellness and mixed spa area. The surroundings have not much to offer. The bar area have an awful bad acoustic they have to do something about, as people cant either talk or even hear the music (a pianist when we where at the place) so most people lieve or go to ther room.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel in a suite for 5 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. The toilet had a bit of a sewer smell but not bad. I didn't enjoy trying to figure out the light switches. The spa was lovely and peaceful. The main restaurant food was delicious.

I come back to this hotel some years later. The hotel and city are beautiful. This time I enjoyed also the swimmingpools, really well done. Unfortunately I had unwanted guests in my bed. In two different days I found two big spiders from different "families" on the bed. In the bathroom I saw also small silverfishes. I took a photo of the second spider and I showef at reception. After a bit of complaints...

Really good hotel with very service minded staff. The hotel has a nice spa departement with a few differens saunas. The food is good and there are lot to choose from. It is possible to charge the car for 7 euros for 6 hours, a very reasonable price. However, parking in the hotel park area, is a bit on the expensive side. We can easily come again.

I love the place, but it’s been hit by COVID like so many others. Still a great wellness experience though the service is not what it used to be.

Loved the food, hated the service. Service just didn't jive with ordering by waitress instead of the app. Oddly pandemic.

Great location, great view, great food but the service staffed wasn't friendly.... Walked into the restaurant we passed 10 wait staff and nobody even greeted us while leaving the same.. If you spend some money on a good meal the least you expect is a friendly goodbye and an invitation to return...

Great hotel, with a wonderful spa. It's literally on the beach and have beautiful window views of the sea. Swimming pool, sauna and massages. The breakfast is simply spectacular and the two restaurants are also worth a visit. The bedroom is very comfortable. In resume, a nice place to relax during the vacation time.

4 nights, positive: the breakfast is really good, negative: the shower doesn't work at all, only suitable for very slim people. The bed ... you roll out, sleep on a hillside, the staff smokes right in front of the window on the ground floor, when I left I had to discuss for 10 minutes that I had already paid for the room in advance. And of course I wasn't asked how I enjoyed my stay ... they don't...

Definitely book a relaxing massage - pure relaxation. Rich breakfast, warm welcome by the landlady. A short walk and you are on the promenade. Good value for money. Between the two houses there is a beautiful terrace and a beautifully landscaped garden, on which the loungers invite you to relax. Very well suited for a short weekend trip to the Baltic Sea.

Family excursion Hansapark with 2 nights in this great hotel. The boss welcomes each guest personally + warmly. Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the great wellness area. Next time for sure 😏 Even without a restaurant, this beautiful hotel is highly recommended. The breakfast was great, even freshly prepared egg dishes were served to us.
