The hotel is close to the subway line, and there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The hotel itself is rather old, the mattresses are not very comfortable, and the rooms have electric fans, but no air conditioning. There was road construction downstairs when I checked in, so it was quite noisy. However, overall the price-performance ratio is acceptable.

The location and cleanliness are excellent for the price; it's a real value for money. It's among the best and most affordable hotels I've stayed in, and it's among the top choices. The only issue is the small elevator, so the room isn't a big deal.

This was an extremely bad experience, and I absolutely have to review it!
1/ The deluxe single room only had a roof window, which couldn't be opened for fresh air when it rained. I offered to pay for a room change, but was refused.
2/ On our first day, the kitchen caught fire. Firefighters and police arrived, but no one evacuated anyone and no explanation was given. We only learned it was the kitchen fire through Ctrip.
3/ Because they refused to change rooms, and the experience was so bad, I requested a better hotel three days after booking six days. I was refused without any reason, and still no room change was granted.
4/ Ultimately, they unilaterally refused to communicate, and even withdrew our entire payment three days before departure, unilaterally refusing to respond to any written emails.
I'm so enlightened.

Really nice for the price. While it looks like it is across the street from the train station, they are building a massive new train station (going to take years) and you have to walk several blocks around to get back to the hotel. Not their fault, just a heads up. Breakfast is just a fancy looking continental style with juice, yogurt, cold cuts etc, not included with your stay, about $17 US per person. Rooms are not big but are fine. No mini fridge. 10-15 minute walk from the square.

We stayed on the 5th floor and as soon as we entered, I immediately thought it was not bad. The room and bathroom were a bit old, but they were usable.
The towels and blankets smelled unpleasant, so I told them and they replaced them right away and the staff's service was good.

If I had the chance to go there one more time, I would like to visit!

Unfair Policies & Poor Customer Service
I had a deeply disappointing experience with Motel One. Due to airport strikes and the cancellation of my flight—a clear force majeure—I was unable to travel. Despite this unforeseen situation, the hotel refused to show any flexibility.
I booked on booking.com, however at the time of my booking, their website stated that reservations guaranteed by credit card could be canceled free of charge until 6 PM the day before arrival, with a no-show resulting in a charge for just one night. After my planned stay, they retroactively changed their policy on their website to require cancellations 14 days in advance for trade show periods.
In an effort to find a fair solution, I proposed reasonable alternatives—being charged for one or two nights instead of the full stay or even rescheduling my booking—but the hotel flatly refused. Instead, they insisted on charging 90% of my three-night stay, despite the circumstances being completely beyond my control.
I strongly urge future guests to be cautious when booking here, as policies may change without notice, and customer service is unwilling to work toward reasonable resolutions.

The hotel has a retro feel to its decor. The rooms are small but comfortable with nice bathrooms. The beds are quite comfortable as well.

I had a great service especially Maisam was doing fantastic works at Motel One. My flight got cancelled and had a long day at the airport and I booked 10pm online and need to get up 4am. It was crazy schedule. But, Motel one crews had a great hospitality especially Maisam. He makes great cocktails as well.
