This is a rather dated hotel near the train station in Stuttgart. The area is very sketchy and there are many drunks and homeless people around. You are also across from the rebuilding of Stuttgart station. Heaven knows when that will finish. Stayed here for a night during my Porsche European delivery - was only there to sleep so couldn’t comment on much but the service was exemplary the entire time and would stay again though feels a bit more like a business hotel. Also an incredibly convenient location across the train station.

We had a great stay in conjunction with the musical Tina and a visit to Stuttgart. The only surprise was that German was a foreign language at the hotel (I am bi lingual, so not a problem), however I do find it strange. Anyway, we had a great time and friendly service too.

I've stayed here multiple times in the past, but this most recent one left me feeling like the hotel is losing its luster. I got in late and had to change rooms twice because my first two rooms didn't have working air. The staff was very helpful with getting me a new room. The one thing that is surprising is that there are no USB ports beside the bed. I had to use my laptop charger to charge my phone overnight, which isn't needed at most hotels. But that's a small thing.

Classy, good quality venue. Breakfast had a very wide variety with top quality. For the dinner I asked the chicken version of the soup, they brought the veggie option. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s a proper 4 star business hotel. Staff was friendly and the restaurant serves a great schnitzel. We had a junior suite and couldn’t figure out why such a nice room had a metal pole with a TV in the middle of it. Otherwise great place to stay on your way to somewhere else.

The hotel is in the perfect area for a short walk to the train and if you need currency exchange it's a short walk to the airport. The bar service was excellent and food was good. I stayed one night in order to catch an early flight the next morning. My room was clean and comfortable and equipped with coffee and tea. I had to leave before they served breakfast but the hotel does put out a small spread of bread, butter, espresso and tea for passengers like me which I really enjoyed.

This place is a very nice place compared to others while visiting Stuttgart. The rooms are a nice size and great air conditioning too. I stayed at the Aloft in Stuttgart for 3+ months. Everyone there made me feel at home. The room was impeccable, everyone that worked there was kind and friendly. Clean and comfortable, and a true king bed like in the US, which was a nice comfort. Parking was easy to access below the hotel and the staff were easy to work with. It’s attached to a large mall which was very convenient for shopping and dining if I needed something quick.

This Hotel needs refurbishment. Looks like nothing has been changed there since 1965 or so. Check out took extremely long, gave me the impression they did it for the first time. Staff friendly, breakfast was very good.

A decent hotel, clean and 24 hours check in and friendly staff. But it is a bit old and the fact that you have to pay for the TV is annoying. There are also construction work done next to it, and it looks as if they will take a while, that make a lot of noise.

Nice hotel with big rooms. Mine had a hot tub. The breakfast area, which is the restaurant of the hotel for the rest of the day, is quite busy. Choice of breakfast items was good. The coffee that was on the table was barely drinkable. I think people usually use it to clean engines.

Very friendly staff, comfy renovated rooms, great restaurant and varied breakfast options. It is next to an U station, so well connected. There are parts (vip lounge, corridors) where you can tell by the smell that people used to smoke there, although it is not a big issue in my opinion. I would recommend it.

Great hotel in a convenient location. Close to many stores of multiple types as well as plenty of restaurants and places to enjoy an evening out. The breakfast in the morning does cost extra unless you get a room with breakfast included. The hotel also has free WiFi but it's slow. However they do offer faster WiFi but for an additional charge.

This hotel is great stay for my 3 nights in Stuttgart. A complementary bottle of water upon check-in is a nice gesture. Spacious, clean, professional staff. They even left me a note offering room service at a later time when seeing the Do not disturb sign I put on the door knob. This hotel is also right next to a shopping mall. 9 mins walk from S/U bahn station. Highly recommended.

The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. The beds are comfortable. There is a parking garage with a lot of spaces. The restaurant inside is fantastic, great staff and the food is excellent.

Absolutely awesome place. Very friendly staff. Definitely a place I would recommend to all. Great food, amazing service and really good rooms. They also provide a fitness and sauna room. I absolutely loved my stay in Mercure.
