Apartments in Trier

There are rooms and apartments within a senior residence. But doesn't bother at all. We had a large apartment. Was well set up. Everything was clean. The staff were very friendly. Cars can be parked in the underground car park for a fee. Is centrally located so that you can get to Trier on foot. Breakfast was very good and everything was enough.

The first thing that attracted me here is the extensive greenery. There is a beautiful waterbody with some lotuses as well as some sculptures of cranes! There is a porch roofed with greenery which lends all the shade. The rooms are huuuuuge! Its one of the largest city hotel rooms I've stayed in.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Great value overall. Check-in was a little confusing with the lockboxes and the no reception after 12:00pm, but we worked it out over a phone call and all was good after that.

This was my favorite hotel during my stay in Germany. The beds were softer than normal German beds. Having a full kitchen was a delight and the location was a short drive to downtown. The continental breakfast was much better than expected. Many pilots seem to prefer this hotel as well.

Actually, I wanted to book in the main house...but it Was full. So I came here for a much better price than indicated here. For the listed price of about 100€ you get a spacious room with a double bed, a sofa bed, a kitchenette and a stylish bathroom. TV, quick wifi and good Breakfast are also available.

At first sight the hotel looks like a concrete monstrosity from another age but inside the rooms are light, airy and very modern. The breakfast was excellent and overall the hotel represented good value. I'm not too sure about the walking distance into the rather lovely centre. We're both retired and it seemed a bit of a trek.

Nice hotel for a short stay, minus points for the broken air-conditioning that heated the room up regardless of the setting during our 2 night stay and still wasn't fixed when we left. Breakfast selection was good but distance between tables was way too small and made for an uncomfortable almost claustrophobic feeling that was not at all in line with COVID safe distancing recommendations.

Great stay, very comfortable, loved the part where you got a surprise when you didnt need your room cleaned. Great initiative! Only downside was that the restaurant was closed which is not stated on the website, and at check in desk I was told they didn't have a restaurant but the next day walking past reception desk heard another employee inform guests that the restaurant was closed.

While Trier was not our favorite city this hotel was a very pleasant suprise. The ibis Styles is new to us and it now a chain we will seek out. Together with my two sons (9 and 11) we stayed at this friendly hotel in the centre of Trier. Perfect location – we were able to visit all the highlights while walking. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast buffet. We had a very pleasant and relaxed stay!

The originally-assigned room has some ventilation noise problem and the staffs help us out immediately. The place is well-located in the Trier old town area so we had a great experience roaming around the city. The only pity is the air-co system is not quite functional, so, it is a bit stuffy at the beginning. Once we opened the windows it got a bit better. All in all, it is a decent stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel. Even though we had to search a little bit to find the parking with the roadworks in progress. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The maxi-bar was a daily stop and the free coffee/tea and apples were much appreciated. Rooms were clean and spacious.

Hands down, THE place to stay when in Trier ! Location is amazing - right in the heart of the old centre with easy parking and delightful shops and walking street just a stone's through from the property. Proper 4 star hotel. For business trips it is missing is same-day laundry service. It's more of a 36-hour laundry service. At breakfast i miss a menu of what is orderable, as well as hashbrowns/other potato based dish. However there is a large variety of other things. There is even a vegan corner!

It's good if you know you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean and functional. But no storage options whatsoever, so you have to live out of your suitcase. The only hot option at breakfast is a hardboiled egg, no scrambled eggs. The birchermueslu is good on the other hand. For the British visitor this hotel is a German experience in the very best sense. The rooms are spotless and decorated in a charming, homely style. The restaurant is excellent and the beer quite superb. The service is excellent and friendly. The only small snag is that it is a little away from the centre but there is a local bus service and good parking so this is a minor issue.

The hotel has a nice interior design, large rooms, and good amenities, including laundry, breakfast, and free parking. However, a few criticisms include inconvenient location, too soft pillows, slightly firm mattress, and thin walls. Breakfast is also only served 8-10. These can matter more or less depending on personal preferences.

We stayed a night in late July and the service was very fine with quite clean rooms which is great! An older hotel, but thats ok. Our room was overlooking the street and the outside noise went on well past midnight. It was significant, even with ear plugs. Did appreciate the convenient parking! No frills hotel with dated rooms and simple beds as well as thin towels. Some hairs were on towels and in the bathroom. Shower is in the middle of the bathroom. One shower curtain was missing, and we had to decide whether to spray the toilet paper or the sink.
