If you arrive at night you will not easily find the entrance to the hotel as it is dimly lit. The rooms aren't bad for one night. Receptionist Marlene was very rude. His treatment was very dismissive at the time of checking out.

I was very impressed with the personell, the rooms and the breakfast. When I arrived, I was friendly welcomed and they were very helpful with my questions. My room was comfortable and clean the entire five days that I was a quest at the hotel. The hotel is a ways from the center of Trier but there are numerous buses that stop in front of the hotel and this made no problem with getting around the city...

The front desk is quite welcoming. The location is average. I don't care about these when I'm on a business trip.

Good hotel close to the centre. In my opinion they should be giving double size duvet and two pillows for double bed (instead of single) and there should be a kettle in the room. Overall great staff and good facilities.

This hotel is at a premium location, close to the city. It takes 30 minutes to cross the city center from the hotel to porta nigra. Hands down, THE place to stay when in Trier ! Location is amazing - right in the heart of the old centre with easy parking and delightful shops and walking street just a stone's through from the property. The courtyard restaurant, with its comfy seating, selection of finest beef, including Kobe, fine wines, is a highlight in the region. Service is highly professional on all levels.

It's good if you know you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean and functional. But no storage options whatsoever, so you have to live out of your suitcase. The only hot option at breakfast is a hardboiled egg, no scrambled eggs. The birchermueslu is good on the other hand. Breakfast buffet area does get a bit crowded and is maybe not suitable for the amount of people.

This is a great hotel with very friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean. Water, tea, coffee etc is provided in each room. There is a seating area outside for relaxing in the evening and many local restaurants in walking distance.

Located in the quiet part of the city center the hotel is well organized. Breakfast is good with a wide choice of fresh bread, coffee, scrambled eggs and baked beans. For the British visitor this hotel is a German experience in the very best sense. The rooms are spotless and decorated in a charming, homely style. We stayed a night in late July and the service was very fine with quite clean rooms which is great! An older hotel, but thats ok. This hotel is quite good and reasonably priced. Good place to stay if you are in Trier. It is a little walk down hill into the town but quite a hike back up. Still, there's always taxis. 😃 The food in their restaurant is good. Staff are helpful and friendly.

No frills hotel with dated rooms and simple beds as well as thin towels. Some hairs were on towels and in the bathroom. Shower is in the middle of the bathroom. One shower curtain was missing, and we had to decide whether to spray the toilet paper or the sink.
