Great location and lovely breakfast by the river, will definitely come back!

This hotel has for sure the nicest view in Mainz, and only a few minutes from the city center. Just be aware that the rooms with view to the Rhein-river obviously have different categories, hence prices, to avoid being disappointed.

Very nice location - it is easy to reach the sights of Mainz and also to have a stroll along the river. During my stay there was some construction, that was not very pleasant. Also, make sure you are staying in the main building, or you will have to walk a long way with luggage... and help was not offered, although I had 2 suitcases. European hotel rooms tend to be small and drab - that was the case...

We have danced at many weddings and can say that you will find the perfect wedding venue here. Professional service coupled with excellent room separation and the ability to go straight to bed after the party is simply wonderful. My partner and I stayed at the Oranien for 3 days while visiting Wiesbaden. Check-in was smooth and staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Our first room smelled of cigarettes – staff quickly resolved the issue, upgrading and moving us to a new room. The hotel is centrally located, a short walk from many attractions, and a quick Uber from the train station. We will definitely stay here again...

Stayed in December 2024 to visit friends. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and located very close to the centre of town and the christmas markets. Could not have asked for a nicer place to stay!

This is my second stay at this hotel. I stayed here a number of years ago. The reception staff is helpful and courteous. The rooms are nicely furnished, quiet and clean. The location is great! It is within walking distance to both the shopping district and the Hauptbahnhof. It is a terrific value for the money.

Maybe my standards are too high, but I'm not agreeing with the number of stars assigned to German hotels.

In one word: average. A bit more extended: location just great, service good, breakfast below average, although still within "ok" range, rooms rather outdated but work well, toilet and shower new and of above average quality. Clean. Overall, an uncomplicated stay in a centrally located spot.

Yes the rooms are a bit dated but they are clean, the lighting is nice and the bathtubs are amazing and modern. The staff is so helpful and very sweet. When they found out that we were sick with colds they sent up tea, a kettle and fresh lemon to our rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

The room is big, and the bed is not a mini bed, which is very good in European business hotels. The hotel breakfast is still as simple and monotonous as before. The environment of the nearby Wiesbaden Health Park is very good!

This is an old hotel. The rooms are old and very dusty. Bring a UV torch, the level of invisible stains on the bedroom carpet will make you feel sick. It was clean and well looked after, even in times of Corona. What made it 5 stars for me was: we left a bottle of wine in the fridge by accident. A quick call and we have organized a way for it to return to us. Wonderful customer service.

The hotel is located within a 15-min leisurely walk to a train station and a 10-min walk to a bus stop. Although he hotel itself is rather spacious and with a large number of rooms, it felt as if whatever few guests were in the hotel, they had all been accommodated next to each other. Needed a place to crash for the night in Wiesbaden and the price was right at this hotel. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was as advertised. I will say there was unfortunately a strong musty/mold odor coming from the bathroom, but this was remedied by leaving the window open for a while. Ended up here because didn’t book room for the conference in time. Hotel and rooma is very clean but rooms could be a bit bigger and with A/C. Bathroom is also tiny, same goes for the shower. But location is great, many restaurants just outside this hotel. And city center is close by foot.

It is not fair to expect high service Standards in Germany. Service is not in their culture guide. Front office was good but not friendly at all. We just came from long journey and tired. Waited for 30mnts for check in with only 1 receptionist. Once we got into the room, its very old. Thin pillow. Stain in carpet and sofa. They really need to keep up. Despite all of those, its in good location. Warm ambience and nice customer service
