Where to stay in Wiesbaden

Overall a nice stay, but a few things to note for first-timers! It was a bit confusing to find at first—it’s labeled as the niu on the outside, not Holiday Inn, so we didn’t realize we were at the right place right away. We have stayed here for 1 week. Rooms are cleaned daily. Not that noisy from trains unless you have a window opened ( we had a room windows against offices and train rails) Very nice location - bus stops not so far away ( 5 minutes to bus stop and approx 11-13 min to main central station ) We had lunch included ( approx 17-18 euros per day for a person ) and it was very good too. This hotel has for sure the nicest view in Mainz, and only a few minutes from the city center. Just be aware that the rooms with view to the Rhein-river obviously have different categories, hence prices, to avoid being disappointed.

Very nice location - it is easy to reach the sights of Mainz and also to have a stroll along the river. During my stay there was some construction, that was not very pleasant. Also, make sure you are staying in the main building, or you will have to walk a long way with luggage... and help was not offered, although I had 2 suitcases. European hotel rooms tend to be small and drab - that was the case...

Hotel a bit tired, o attended a corporate event - buffet service, food just ok, dinner or the 2 lunches. 3 instructions sent regarding a mobility friendly room and put on 6th floor, considered I could use the lifts in an emergency (fires?)! Did move and upgrade me which was nice, but there was missed optys along the way throughout.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! It's conveniently close to shopping and dining areas, making it easy to explore the local attractions. The bar tenders Sia and Josh were incredible! They were very accommodating to all our needs and were so friendly and kind that we will be sad to leave this hotel when we go! The hotel has clearly seen better days and there is some maintenance overdue. The building itself has potential tho. The fitnessroom is small and the only wait training machine is completely broken. Splinter new hotel in a nice new neighbourhood west of the city centre on the river. Amenities in the vicinity and the centre a 20 minutes walk. Convenient parking opposite for a reasonable price, 10 Euro a day. Kind service and very good value for money. Pets admitted free of charge. The room is small but cleverly designed.

The hotel is wonderful. The room was clean and quiet. Daily cleaning and bath towels were changed. It is quite enough for two people. As a drawback, I can only point to the lack of a wardrobe and the sliding door of the bathroom and toilet, which does not provide enough privacy. Good for a one night stay. Great location. Free internet. Clean and tidy. However, extremely tiny. A shelf instead of a table. An open suitcase takes most of the available floor. No coffee maker, no tea pot. One soap for everything.

We have danced at many weddings and can say that you will find the perfect wedding venue here. Nice rooms, but the room we stayed had a semi transparent toilet which is not private as you think. The breakfast is enough. For this location it can bee good for short trips but for long stays, prefer chain hotels known for their luxury

The Hotel is very central, close to a shopping center (Malakoff-Passage) and has very helpful staff. I had left a laundry bag full of shirts at the hotel. This was sent to me immediately at the house's expense. The staff is also otherwise very helpful! Elsewise it's very good value for money.The breakfast is quite nice, but nothing special.

If you don't have any other option (as in my case), you can choose this hotel. Pretty hard to communicate in English. But they try. The room is pretty small, but clean. The bathroom is very small, very uncomfortable to take a shower. The breakfast gives you very few options. There is an underground parking, very expensive one.

My partner and I stayed at the Oranien for 3 days while visiting Wiesbaden. Check-in was smooth and staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Our first room smelled of cigarettes – staff quickly resolved the issue, upgrading and moving us to a new room. The hotel is centrally located, a short walk from many attractions, and a quick Uber from the train station. We will definitely stay here again...

Stayed in December 2024 to visit friends. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and located very close to the centre of town and the christmas markets. Could not have asked for a nicer place to stay!

This is my second stay at this hotel. I stayed here a number of years ago. The reception staff is helpful and courteous. The rooms are nicely furnished, quiet and clean. The location is great! It is within walking distance to both the shopping district and the Hauptbahnhof. It is a terrific value for the money.

Maybe my standards are too high, but I'm not agreeing with the number of stars assigned to German hotels.

In one word: average. A bit more extended: location just great, service good, breakfast below average, although still within "ok" range, rooms rather outdated but work well, toilet and shower new and of above average quality. Clean. Overall, an uncomplicated stay in a centrally located spot.

Yes the rooms are a bit dated but they are clean, the lighting is nice and the bathtubs are amazing and modern. The staff is so helpful and very sweet. When they found out that we were sick with colds they sent up tea, a kettle and fresh lemon to our rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 3 nights on a business trip. Great location, walking distance everywhere, shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are comfortable, a large number of channels in different languages. Delicious and hearty breakfast, very pleasant staff.

It's a quite an old hotel, but the rooms and facilities are properly maintained. The main downside is that the rooms have no option to open the windows or to bring fresh air from outside, which in this pandemic situation seems unacceptable from my side, but at the reception they inform us that they can cancel the reservation.

Very tasty, home-style dishes. The service is warm - friendly and has always been in a good mood. We also often get half a chicken for home, which always tastes very good. We have nothing to complain about. There are full and solid 5 stars for this. A real Mainz tip!
