Clean, accessible, affordable prices, friendly cast

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights during a conference in the city. The hotel is nicely decorated, the breakfast is very varied and it is open for a long time in the mornings. I specially liked the lounge in the basement of the hotel where you can work, have some food (pizza or flam kuchen) and coffee or play kicker. The hotel has the downside that there are no desks in the bedroom and the wifi connection...

Although we only stayed here for a night, it's the best stay ever from the service, design and comfort of the hotel. Strongly recommended to anyone who visits Wisbaden.

I've stayed at Marriott Courtyard properties all over North America, and this EU location, Courtyard Nordenstadt, is a cut above them all when it comes to service, cleanliness, breakfast selection, and they even have a decent gym. Don't get me wrong, it's still a Courtyard style property, but just based on service & amenities, it felt more comfortable. I wish they were similarly well run and equipped...

It's a hostel, not a hotel. Clean and every basic need covered. Friendly people working there. Parking facility present, just make sure you don't drive a too big car, very tight corners, barely made it. Showering is a challenge as the water is cold for a longer period of time, then scalding and when someone uses water somewhere in the building... Freezing or burning... I had it both... Price and location...

At 50 € per night for a single room, the only thing that could be improved in my view is the toilets. They're currently shared, but a private toilet would be nicer and presumably not asked too much at this price. Apart from that, all is good: location, quietness, rooms, kitchen...

The room was very spacious and windows could be opened for fresh air which was great. The bed was a nice size but the mattress was so soft and bouncy for my taste which made it less comfortable. The internet was terrible. The heater made a loud noise when turned up.

The staffs are so friendly and helpful. The room was exceptional cozy. I slept well every night. Breakfast was simple but ok. There is a hair dryer, and a small fridge. No minibar. The bathroom was totally clean. I had a great time there. Well, just only the location is not prime but still in walkable distance.

For value this is excellent, the price is low and includes breakfast and the room was large and clean. Perhaps not the most modern furnishings, but for me it was ok. The location is quiet and near lots of nice restaurants as well as being close to the station. I was late checking in but collecting the key was very easy and the owner was very fast to reply to all questions by email. I would stay again

If you are looking for an affordable place in Mainz, this is the place to go. Rooms are clean and have a spacious balcony to relax on after a busy day. Closeby tram can take you to the main train station and further on directly to the University. The new owner takes care of his guests.

Hotel aurora is a very nice place , very freidlly and nice staf . i enjoyed taking my breakfast here , walking to the station of wiesbaden and its wounderful center. lovelly place .. you wil never regret trying it ..

Ok, the staff is friendly and the Breakfast is ok. Cleanliness is good and it is quiet. For the price the rooms are clearly too small and the bathroom also. Elevator is not available, what can be for older people a Problem.

Very good Breakfast buffet, the staff is nice and the rooms clean. Some of the rooms are a little small but lots of mirrors, high Ceilings and a tasteful ambience that is well balanced. Great location if you have to rely on the station.

Located just near the main station and downtown. The hotel is very clean and provides u great hospitality. The hotel owner and the staff is very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay. It is situated on the Rhine. Ut is easy to find and has underground parking which is secure.

Clean rooms, good river view, polite und informative Staff! I was there for a workshop and I needed a good internet connection and as a matter of fact I thought with a hotel like this you get a connection automatically! But I was wrong.. it was a payed connection, between 14 to 25 Euros I think based on your speed.. that's something which could improve definitely!!

Great place to stay. Close to the river. Many places to go around the location. The Altstadt is behind the hotel. That means ,u have enough places to go for breakfast or lunch. There are also bars and party locations.

Limited parking - beware of that if you turn up at 1am. Generally the hotel is a standard Hilton, the rooms were OK but the mattress didn’t seem quite right in my room - a little firm? Breakfast is lovely especially when being able to sit outside. Overall a pretty good Hilton.

Location, location, location... and Schwarzer Bock has oodles of it! It may be one of the old great hotels, or -rather- it probably was. It all feels a bit dated now. The room was clean enough, but could do with an upgrade. There's the normal amenities (coffee, bottled water, safe) and soap/shampoo in the bathroom. Breakfast was very decent, with the possibility of sitting outside in the courtyard...

Great hotel for rooms. Good luck if you want you to get a drink at the bar. Service so slow you might enter retirement before you get it. We complained to management, who send another waiter. He decided to clear tables instead. Complained again to the main barman. He said it's not his problem. Don't know what else to say. Take your camping chair.

Schwarzer Bock is named after the founder whose last name was Bock and who had pitch black hair. It's the oldest hotel in Europe (so the reception told me) built in 1486. It's quaint. Almost has a boutique feel. All the marble in the entryway is original. 600 years old. They have two original stairwells. One marble and one wooden. Even if you aren't staying here it's worth a visit for the history...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Its location was close to the square. Rooms were nice and quiet. The beds were quite firm, but ok. Prices were reasonable. The hotel offered a breakfast buffet, but we felt it was a bit high. They provided bottled water in the rooms, both natural and frizzanty. There is a refrigerator, instant hot water pot. The bar tenders Sia and Josh were incredible! They were very accommodating to all our needs and were so friendly and kind that we will be sad to leave this hotel when we go! The hotel has clearly seen better days and there is some maintenance overdue. The building itself has potential tho. The fitnessroom is small and the only wait training machine is completely broken. The best location. Did you know a natural hot spring fills their gorgeous infinity pool w views, and their spa services are first rate. Amazing staff and extremely clean. The bathroom has a somewhat translucent wall that is a bit odd to be honest. Great spot for exploring this awesome town! There is a wonderful Italian restaurant right next door too!

Stayed for one night while doing the Rhine cycle route. Staff were very welcoming at check in and my bike was locked in a separate part of the hotel overnight. Room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is more modern on the inside and has wood floors everywhere which can lead to a bit of noise from people walking around. It’s about a 10-15 mins walk into centre of town. Simple rooms but with all the basics, powerful shower, firm comfortable bed and desk. Wonderful view from the 6th floor restaurant with a good breakfast bar selection. Staff friendly and helpful, excellent English spoken. Bike storage available if you are doing one of the cycle trips

The doppl bed are not comfortable. Its basically 2 single beds beside each other, so it would slips away from each other and make a crack in the middle 🤣

The hotel is located on a very prime location. Easily accessible by public transport fr the Central Station but you have a 15 min walk to reach there too. The view is amazing from the hotel room. Placed just near the city center so majority of the tourist places are located in the walkable distance. Clean room and friendly staffs. Definitely will book again when coming to Mainz.
