Best experience I had in Dominican Republic. Markets, fast foods, restaurants,banks, all U need nearby. Great stuff, kind, polite. Clean rooms, homy. 24hrs service. Swimming pool, ambient =dreamy. Highly recommended.

The property is ok safe and clean

The soundproofing of the hotel is so poor that I was woken up several times in the middle of the night. Looking at the pictures, I thought it was fine, but it turned out to be completely different. This hotel cannot be called a hotel in China. Apart from the cleanliness, it is not even as good as the hotels next to domestic train stations.

I like everything around it, like food, salon, stores, cab service, and pleasant staff.

Great location in the middle of everything. It was walking distance to the malecón. Very affordable and nice small boutique hotel reminiscent of hotels in small towns in Spain and Italy. The workers were very friendly. If your looking for somewhere affordable and cozy this is it.

Right in the heart of the action, showers aren't clean and likely clogged with sand. Though the people you meet that are staying here make it great. Staff speak purely Spanish and depending on Google translate won't be your saving grace

Clean. Prime location for the area. We felt safe. Surprisingly it wasnt loud in the rooms considering that the balcony was open n the parties were like right there. The place was 35 but I got it for 25 through hotels. I think I'd even pay 35 if I had to tbh.

This hotel has everything that a big hotel has. The pool is nice, open kitchen, parking inside, security system, hot water, and the terrace is the most exciting place with music and beverage at a good price. Come to see it. Price is between 30 to 40 dollars depending on the kind of room. Great place to stay for a couple days or large stay.

Considering the location where the hotel is, the price is great. The hotel itself is nice too. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was clean too, which is always very important to me. It has a nice rooftop where you can chill if you don't feel like leaving the hotel.

Stayed here for a few nights with my family while visiting the island. For the price I was not expecting much but the room was clean when we got there and the employees were very attentive and helpful. One of the employees even recommended a great restaurant near by. This hostal has an accessible price for the traveler. The people are very friendly and is conveniently located due every basic necessities shops like drugstores, restaurants, etc are nearby it.

It's room, nothing more. No table. Just a bed, a nightstand and a TV. Not a smart TV. Only cable. And the wifi signal did not reach my room consistently. This should never cost lore than 1,100 pesos to stay here.

Cheap and decent are the two words I would use to describe hotel gazcue. Located in gazcue, it gives you easy access to zone colonial. Also the Malecon is not far away. The rooms are okay, there's a tv, bed, etc. There are much better alternatives, but if you're looking to save a few bucks and you don't mind staying in a 3 star spot by all means go for it. It's clean and the staff is really nice.

Hotel Guarocuya was great, you cant ask for a lot since your getting what you paid for. Place has potential, cheap price and in a great location; however, it needs some work. Our sheets had to be changed after check in, bath did not have water pressure. They did mention that they are still remodeling so it may be better with time. Update: The manager refunded us our money without asking due to the issues.

They need to teach customer service Hostess in the front that checks people in better with the computer. Air condition was okay but TV did not work

Excellent location, near Colón Park (600 m) and near Calle El Conde. Congratulations to the owner for the good treatment and quick response to questions via mail. The only thing I would recommend would be a better shower system as the water temperature changed drastically during the shower and there was a musty smell, maybe a room freshener would be helpful. The service and attention of the owners is spectacular. They were always willing to help with any minor detail. The AC worked great and the showers were hot. It is centrally located (right off of El Conde) yet it is not a party hotel and the rooms themselves were very isolated from the noise of the street. I highly recommend this hostal!

It's a room with a big bed, a toilet, with a TV, air conditioner. They give you towel, paper, soap. Not really expensive. It has an Italian restaurant downstairs ice cream shop too. Not too far from malecon where you can walk by the beach. I was upstairs with this view. I LOVE IT

This is my second year coming here and my second time staying at this hotel. Easy access. Staff is great and bilingual. The room is amazing though basic. No amenities such as shampoo or conditioner but I bring my own anyway. Very clean both times I've been here. The manager said they are working on a restaurant which would be super convenient. We laid less per person to stay much closer to the conde on another trip. I think it was fine and it had a breakfast included. about a 10 min walk from things... Especially if it's just one person it may be better for saving. But for the price we paid for 3 to stay, we could have gone somewhere else.

This place just does us right every time. The manager Reinada (so sorry if I misspelled it) Is always nice and kind and makes us feel at home. The housekeeping keep the rooms clean and cafe Roma kept me full with the Dominican breakfast..
