A great place to take a break and relax.
This hotel was not worth the $1600 price tag I paid for 9 nights. Let’s first go over service. Staff was wonderful! They were very friendly, always looking to help out, asking if we needed anything, just top tier service. No complaints about service. The rooms were ok. Seemingly clean but the carpet in our room was filthy! Not only was it stained all over the place you could tell that it had...
Overall I rate it with four stars with a few details to improve.
First, the check in and check out processes are super slow. The staff needs to manage a way to do it faster. More than 15 minutes is too much.
The hotel itself is beautiful and with a great location close to Centro Historico and El Malecon. Right next to the hotel is a casino too. The rooms are old, but with a classic look and enough...
Clean and sanitary good service
This is my 4th time staying at this hotel and I really love it. It is close to everything like the beach and Zona Colonial. The Front Desk staff Micheal and Nichole are awesome. They welcome you with a warm smile and make sure you are well taken care of.
Good breakfast, large space, good swimming pool, good gym
Environment: Good environment, close to the beach, many restaurants around, convenient for eating, hotel service is average, invoice issuance is unclear, many people, many large gatherings

Overall great experience at this property. Ashley was amazing checking me in. She gave a great rundown of all the amenities and services as well as information about the local night life and best restaurants.
The room was up to standard, very lady with pool view, not so much of an ocean view but still good views. The room did not have an iron and I called down and one was quickly brought up to the...
I recently stayed at the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is divided into two buildings—one offering sea-view rooms in the main tower and the other featuring tranquil garden views. Having stayed in both, I personally prefer the main building with its beautiful ocean vistas, which add a special touch to the stay.
The rooms themselves are spacious...
I really love this hotel! Every time I'm in Santo Domingo I choose this property. It's always a warm welcome when I check in. Everyone is so nice and a special shout out to Ashley for checking to see if there was a room ready for early check in. When I'm here I spend the majority of my time at the pool which is never over crowded and I have made friends with the crew at the Sol Pool Bar. Joaquin is...
I’m one of those guys who usually spends 2 to 3 weeks on a hotel recurrently so I can get opportunity to experience all up's and down's in the place, this hotel for me is in a really good location, service in general its ok, nice and spacious rooms, they have a lounge and service there is really nice including meal options and snacks after 6pm quite ok, (although no free alcohol drinks,) food and room...
The hotel is very big, with complete supporting facilities and a good restaurant. It is a relatively good hotel.
Great experience. Four start only because it's limited number of convenience stores in the hotel.

The environment is great. The fifth floor is the executive lounge, which offers breakfast and snacks, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat on your way home from work.
The Jacuzzi in the room is also fantastic, a great way to unwind after a long day.
The pool is nice too, but unfortunately I didn't have time to swim.
Overall, the hotel left a good impression,
The room was large and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel has a great pool and spa. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
The hotel lobby is too cold. Everything else is good.
Very upscale, European style, it is considered a very upscale hotel here. Very upscale, European style, it is considered a very upscale hotel here.

My favorite hotel in SD. Great location. Beautiful decor, very clean and friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet, shout out to Erica M for always providing great service with a smile
Great hotel tos stay. I love the rooms very spacious, clean, refrigerator is full of drinks, snacks, and more.

We have stay here a few times and is a top notch hotel . Highly recommended. This hotel is very well located and very well maintained. Highly recommended
Rooms don’t open so it’s impossible to get outside fresh air and change the one from inside the room.
The pool instead of being a quiet place where to relax it’s a disco with a DJ that blasts the music at very high volume. I asked to lower it a bit down. The people at the bar and the DJ rolled their eyes, lowered it for a minute and then they raised the volume once again.
Love this place. Location is fenomenal. It smells so good. Food is great. Rooms are amazing. Try the bathtubs. Fitten for a basketball player. Great restaurants. Amazing service. Great spa. Must visit. Great for staycations.
I spent over 3 months at this IHG hotel in Santo Domingo and I must say, for someone who travels, sometimes; this is one of the best city hotels I have ever been to because of their consistent great service. The GM Sebastian, Gabriela, the staff, Angelika, Melvin, Ariel, Juan Carlos, Diane the receptionist, Sergio, and the doormen and the spa receptionists. I am missing names, pardon. It is not just...
This is a beautiful story that rests in love and timelessness. I have stayed in many Intercontinental’s and this one left me with a great experience that excite me.
I haven’t been this excited about a hotel in many years, the name lived up to the memories and I look forward to another stay.

Everything at this hotel was incredible! Seriously from the rooms! And the service out of this world. Roxanna especially was the best server. She was attentive during breakfast and made sure that we were taken care off bringing over anything we needed from coffee to condiments. All with a warm smile.
This was my first time staying at this hotel, but my parents have been here before and suggested that we stay here again! It was overall a great hotel with a great view and great service from the workers. Roxanna and Melinda were two of the waitresses that were phenomenal. So kind and attentive when it came to breakfast time. Always a perk when going on vacation. Only thing I would criticize about...
The hotel is amazing! The ocean front rooms have a great view! The rooms are clean and spacious. The service at breakfast was exceptional! Melida, our server was extremely attentive, she provided great service and if I could take her back to the states with me I would. She was friendly and went above and beyond! Ask for her if you want great service!
It’s day one and I am amazed at service provided. The check-in I process was seamless. The room is clean and the view is breath taking! Dinner was great. Roxanna and Melida our servers was amazing. We were constantly checked upon and catered to. 10/10
Restaurant service I had with an extremely helpful, polite young lady named Rosa. She really is an asset to the hotel chain. /Only issue was in my room’s shower where apparently the drain for the shower was built at the opposite side that the water flowed and there wasn’t even a small contention thing so while showering the rest of the bathroom was flowing with water. The rest of all services at...

Excellent service my entire trip, everybody was extremely welcoming and kind! Jose Manuel made sure that we were satisfied at breakfast and had everything we’d need. The pool was beautiful and had a wonderful view. Definitely would recommend this hotel and I will be returning!
I am writing this review because the service was so exceptional, I had to share. I visited this hot for the first time and it was AMAZING! Everyone was so helpful. Luis at check in was very pleasant. Pamela del club lounge was just exceptional. She was so polite and ALWAYS kept a smile. I don’t know Spanish, but she and the staff did as much as they could to keep communication going and clear. José Manuel was great!!!! He made our stay extremely comfortable and was very welcoming. Also, Victor, Alexander, and the night and morning managers at the front desk were wonderful! José Manuel at the Crowne Plaza had the most excellent hospitality and service i’ve ever experienced. He made us feel at home and safe! I had the pleasure of being served by Jose at the Crowne Plaza, and he was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we sat down, he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel completely welcome. Jose was attentive without being intrusive, and he anticipated our needs before we even had to ask.

I only recommended this hotel if you need to stay in Santo Domingo for one or a couple of nights.
We had leaking in the bathroom and the shower was old.
The staff very kind and helpful, except when I was going to use the swimming pool as everyday they was questioning me if I am a customer.
I stayed at this hotel for a week of vacation and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly kind, and everything was well organized. Honestly, it was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it!
We had a good stay at Dominican Fiesta Hotel. The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a well-equipped gym, pool, steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi, all of which made our stay very enjoyable.

I just stayed here and I have to say it was pretty nice I’d come again. The room I stayed in had functional amenities but needs updating.

Peaceful and calm. Very traditional and solid Hotel. Very near to Grocery Store / Supermarket. Safe zone for walking around as the former ex-President of DR lives around the block. This hotel is absolutely fantastic, the service is amazing and the location is perfect. The amenities provided are beyond exceptional, the service is wonderful and the pool is shallow but good. The food is absolutely amazing rather than leaving the hotel we would eat inside since everything was delicious, even the breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Santo Domingo.
We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The location is excellent and allows easy access to the city. The hotel itself is modern, well kept and clean. The room is relatively large, and the table/mats are good; the bathroom conditions are relatively poor, and the quality of paper towels needs to be improved.
It's a very old hotel. The lobby feels great, but the decoration in the room is old and the smell is very obvious. The air conditioner is too strong and the sound is loud. Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff were amazing and helpful. Veronica front desk manager I believe went out her way to help us rent a vehicle. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel, food was really good and prices were reasonable. Hotel is a little pricey but worth it.
The hotel is located in a convenient area.. The best thing is that this hotel is inside the mall and we thought it was a wonderful idea. The staff and the customer services include the services in general was amazing . Very friendly and nice all of then . We would definitely return to this hotel.
The hotel has the perfecto location. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The staff is extremely nice. The room was incredible with a great view and huge. It had two full bathrooms!
Gorgeous property conveniently located downtown. Staff were phenomenal and accommodating.
The room had a luxurious feel, but the furniture was scratched and dirty, and I could feel the age of the place. I was also bothered by the moldy smell. It was the most expensive per night among the foreign hotels in Santo Domingo, but to be honest, it was just in a good location, and I felt that the price was not worth it otherwise.

Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel and wonderful to experience a place so full of history. However, it seems they rely too much on that charm and overlook important details. Great for a one night stay. The place was clean, personnel friendly and helpful. The restaurant is steps away. The food and prices are decent.
Stayed here from December 31st - January 4, 2025. There is a restaurant next to it.
Parking is free and the attendants are helpful. Service is quick to respond to some issues.
The room feels well organized. The water pressure is very strong, so it feels like you've had a proper shower. The path from the parking lot to the room is very close, which is nice. A parking attendant is always on standby to help with parking. Above all, the price is cheap.
Very nice people. Hotel is super clean. The only downfall is there is no coffee maker, they should add an extra desk for space. I was there for 11 days, I had to buy a kettle to make my instant coffee. Besides that room service people were super nice. There is the Renaissance hotel right across for those who like to use their luxurious dining and casino room. Riazor hotel was great.
Thank you

Great location, some rooms are fine, nothing special in the rooms. Good lobby and elevator. The most beautiful is they rooftop, they have a bar and restaurant there called Sky Europa with an amazing view of the zone.
