The environment is great. The fifth floor is the executive lounge, which offers breakfast and snacks, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat on your way home from work. The Jacuzzi in the room is also fantastic, a great way to unwind after a long day. The pool is nice too, but unfortunately I didn't have time to swim.

Great hotel tos stay. I love the rooms very spacious, clean, refrigerator is full of drinks, snacks, and more. Breakfast was not included but it’s worth it, they have a little bit of everything and for every one. The casino is amazing.

Rooms don’t open so it’s impossible to get outside fresh air and change the one from inside the room. The pool instead of being a quiet place where to relax it’s a disco with a DJ that blasts the music at very high volume. I asked to lower it a bit down. The people at the bar and the DJ rolled their eyes, lowered it for a minute and then they raised the volume once again.

The room had a luxurious feel, but the furniture was scratched and dirty, and I could feel the age of the place. I was also bothered by the moldy smell. It was the most expensive per night among the foreign hotels in Santo Domingo, but to be honest, it was just in a good location, and I felt that the price was not worth it otherwise.

The location of the hotel is OK, it takes about a few minutes to walk to the supermarket. The service attitude of the hotel is relatively poor, and the waitress at the front desk has a very dark face. The smoke exhaust system in the hotel restaurant is very poor, and you will smell of oil smoke when you eat breakfast.

During my stay, I noticed a lot of work/repairs ongoing and I will adjust my commets accordingly. The room was clean very comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to shopping and groceries. The breakfast buffet and restaurant were impressive compared to other locations I've visited.

The room feels well organized. The water pressure is very strong, so it feels like you've had a proper shower. The path from the parking lot to the room is very close, which is nice. A parking attendant is always on standby to help with parking. Above all, the price is cheap.

Very nice people. Hotel is super clean. The only downfall is there is no coffee maker, they should add an extra desk for space. I was there for 11 days, I had to buy a kettle to make my instant coffee. Besides that room service people were super nice. People were very nice. Valet parking, daily house keeping, food restaurant although not inside the hotel, but next door. We could order room service. I truly enjoyed my stay. We spent some of our days inside the room with no problem. I'll book with them again.

Had a great experience at Casas del XVI in Santo Domingo. The staff were amazing and provided service above and beyond what I expected. The houses are nicely decorated with beautiful courtyards and lots of space. The location was also great, within walking distance to restaurants, cafes, and most of the historical attractions.

Objectively speaking, I don't recommend it. There is a ** downstairs, which is quite noisy. There is indeed no hot water for bathing, and the facilities are relatively old. However, the swimming pool is very beautiful, and the hamburgers made by the restaurant in the swimming pool are also very delicious. If you bring children, I don't recommend staying here.
