Made a group reservation here for over 25 people. The booking was very seamless compared to other hotels in the area and the staff was very accommodating when we arrived early for check-in. The rooms were very clean. I am pleased with the hotel and the amenities.

One of the best experiences in Santo Domingo. Great service from start to finish, comfortable and modern rooms with very compelling tariff. Plenty of parking with front and back street access. Beautiful spaces to relax and enjoy. Many eating and snacking options for visitors. And, of course, one of the best casino experiences in town.

We had a wonderful stay here with our two small kids. The hotel was in a beautiful location along the sea (our room had a partial sea view), the service was stellar, and the pool, restaurant, and fitness center are excellent. This is my 4th time staying at this hotel and I really love it. It is close to everything like the beach and Zona Colonial. The Front Desk staff Micheal and Nichole are awesome. They welcome you with a warm smile and make sure you are well taken care of.

Excellent service coupled with a great location. The hallway had a bad smell but the room was nice and clean. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only thing we didn't like was their bathrooms as they are very small. Other than that, we will definitely return.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my partner from Wednesday to Sunday. Unfortunately, I had a few unpleasant encounters with staff members. Upon my arrival, I stood waiting at the front desk for the only staff member who was present, while he was joking around with what seemed to me like guests. Not enough of the staff speak English and those at the front desk were unable to find a reservation due to a lack of English. It is near a busy street, so there is a lot of road nice while sleeping. The building and rooms were in good repair.

Peaceful and calm. Very traditional and solid Hotel. Very near to Grocery Store / Supermarket. Safe zone for walking around as the former ex-President of DR lives around the block. Was a very good experience staff will manner, helpful and taxi on permission. I went to the country for a birthday party it took 3 hrs and I made it there safely and kept the driver . The cost was only $125.00 in Americans money or $7,000.00 pesos.. I will go back there

Enjoyed my stay here although it would have been nice to know that you have to change the motion activated setting on the HVAC. I woke up sweating.

The hotel is pretty standard. The stuff is nice, but 2 things that I didn’t like: 1. The pool is tiny and shallow like 1m deep, so you can’t really swim there. 2. I have seen 3 cockroaches in the room when opened the wardrobe and in the bathroom.

The service in this hotel was really good. The breakfast bar staff was very helpful and all the food was extremely fresh. My husband used the GYM during our stay and was very happy with the facilities. I also like that it is close to a mall.

The rooftop pool is an amazing spot to cool down, and take amazing photos. The food is what you would expected from Holiday Inn, and though the cafe falls short of expectation, it should not be a deal break in your decision to stay. The service is top quality, and they always go the extra mile to help you make sure your vacation is worry free and full of smiles.

I stayed here 3 nights. As a single adult who doesn’t speak any Spanish, the good to know is the people at reception know English so that is a big plus for me. However There is Walter who works in the Bar at the hotel and is also responsible for room service. He is really great person, always smiling, speaks English and some one you can have a conversation with.

Beautiful property located downtown. Amazing pool deck with a great infinity pool. Nobody restocks towels at the pool for hours, though. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Service is just okay. This place is beautiful! Old Spanish colonial building with much of the original feel. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We came back for a second night and when we visit again we will stay here if visiting the colonial district.

I was moved from a good King bed room to another one by the elevator. After I paid and extended. Random noise from it all night long. Person at desk said some one reserved that room. How? I asked. You can’t reserve a room number. I am hot about the situation.

We are both Dominicans living overseas (I live in USA and my sister lives in China), but we visit the island at least once a year. Fast and easy check-in, polite staff, clean comfortable room with A/C and fan over bed. Breakfast was served every morning and this location is close to everything within walking distance but…walking is not recommended by locals as the crime rate here is high. Always keep your cell phone hidden in your pocket as the criminals will find a way to grab it if they see it.

Attractive for its price, clean, friendly staff, short taxi ride to old (historic) Santo Domingo, half minute walk to the sea. I've no complaints.

I brought a group of 14 people for a week in August 2013, we had 6 rooms. I found the staff to be outstanding, cleanliness great, showers and hot water pretty good and the coffee awesome. There was security each evening so safety was never a question. The only small issues I saw were the card keys some times didn't work, maybe once the water only got warm not hot. That's it!
