Clean and sanitary good service

This is my 4th time staying at this hotel and I really love it. It is close to everything like the beach and Zona Colonial. The Front Desk staff Micheal and Nichole are awesome. They welcome you with a warm smile and make sure you are well taken care of.

Everything at this hotel was incredible! Seriously from the rooms! And the service out of this world. Roxanna especially was the best server. She was attentive during breakfast and made sure that we were taken care off bringing over anything we needed from coffee to condiments. All with a warm smile.

The hotel is amazing! The ocean front rooms have a great view! The rooms are clean and spacious. The service at breakfast was exceptional! Peaceful and calm. Very traditional and solid Hotel. Very near to Grocery Store / Supermarket. Safe zone for walking around as the former ex-President of DR lives around the block. The room had a luxurious feel, but the furniture was scratched and dirty, and I could feel the age of the place. I was also bothered by the moldy smell. Always wanted to stay at an Intercontinental, and finally got a chance! It's a cool, calm oasis in the midst of the busy city. This property is centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. I stay here every time I visit Santo Domingo. The price is a bit high, but it's worth it if you enjoy an upscale atmosphere.

The room is relatively large, and the table/mats are good; the bathroom conditions are relatively poor, and the quality of paper towels needs to be improved.

It's a very old hotel. The lobby feels great, but the decoration in the room is old and the smell is very obvious. The air conditioner is too strong and the sound is loud. Decent Place Front desk staff were rude. But the restaurant staff and manager went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. The room was huge but really stay here for access to the gym. Its free access to a really high end fitness club with all amenities included

The property was great, but my bed had a hole in it and because I was already set up in the room I didn’t complain about it I didn’t want to move anywhere else. I got an upgrade for the Sweet. For $130 extra and Walk in to a hole in the bed and a broken fridge put some food there and my food got spoiled because the fridge doesn’t get cold enough to hold some food. But the staff was great.

The first day I slept in and the bed was rock hard! I started inspecting the mattress and discovered that it was upsidedown! The pillow top was on the bottom. I broke 2 nails turning it around but man, so worth it.

Nice hotel for shortly business travel, located near shoping center and business.

Hotel was clean and location was OK. It was pretty rainy evening, we were glad there were free parking slots in front of building as well as VERY good restaurant couple of steps from the entrance. Across the street was a supermercado, neighbourhood was also pretty clean even for spoiled European people as we were, Breakfast was continental, a lady makes omlette on order.

Great stay, colorful, classy but casual. Has more amenities (medium size pool and a roof-top jacuzzi) + a variety of beautiful areas (little bar, open terrace, cama Balinesa!) than many other hotels in Zona Colonial. Reasonable fares, take cash and credit cards. Great service and full of little details that make the stay very memorable. Totally recommend for couples and one-guest escapes too.

Excelent service, the hotel has a beautiful colonial design, and they have personal 24 hours for everything you need, breakfast and tasty hot coffee early in the morning. And they gave me access to the rooftop to make yoga. Definitely I would like come back every week.

I stayed from 3/15 - 3/17 the staff was amazing, the room was clean the breakfast was fresh! they also have safe reliable transportation to and from the airport, the airport service is available even if you dont stay at the airport!!! Just ask for Julio!

Get ready for great service, old fashioned beautiful colonial hotel. Close to the tourist attractions. Very quaint. I would stay there again. Rooms are nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Free wifi that works n air conditioning that has a mind of its own.
