Clean and sanitary good service

This is my 4th time staying at this hotel and I really love it. It is close to everything like the beach and Zona Colonial. The Front Desk staff Micheal and Nichole are awesome. They welcome you with a warm smile and make sure you are well taken care of.

Made a group reservation here for over 25 people. The booking was very seamless compared to other hotels in the area and the staff was very accommodating when we arrived early for check-in. The rooms were very clean. I am pleased with the hotel and the amenities.

Everything at this hotel was incredible! Seriously from the rooms! And the service out of this world. Roxanna especially was the best server. Peaceful and calm. Very traditional and solid Hotel. Very near to Grocery Store / Supermarket. Safe zone for walking around as the former ex-President of DR lives around the block. At the reception everyone is friendly. Good hotel, cleaning in the room is not very good. Some problem with the light, it turns on by itself and prevents you from sleeping. Excellent breakfast!

The stay was really good. The staff were very welcoming and all delivered great service consistently. Our server Jose was amazing. He memorized our dietary requirements and made sure those were met consistenly. Highly recommend.

The room had a luxurious feel, but the furniture was scratched and dirty, and I could feel the age of the place. I was also bothered by the moldy smell. It was the most expensive per night among the foreign hotels in Santo Domingo, but to be honest, it was just in a good location, and I felt that the price was not worth it otherwise.

Went for a business meeting. Our client had reserved a working space and included lunch. Food was delicious. Dessert as well. Had coffee, milk, hot water for tea and cocoa available in the same space. Our meeting room was the Dali room and had a buttler assigned. Very good Hotel in the city center

I stayed here 3 nights. As a single adult who doesn’t speak any Spanish, the good to know is the people at reception know English so that is a big plus for me. However There is Walter who works in the Bar at the hotel and is also responsible for room service. He is really great person, always smiling, speaks English and some one you can have a conversation with.

Always wanted to stay at an Intercontinental, and finally got a chance! It's a cool, calm oasis in the midst of the busy city. The location of the hotel is OK, it takes about a few minutes to walk to the supermarket. The service attitude of the hotel is relatively poor, and the waitress at the front desk has a very dark face. The smoke exhaust system in the hotel restaurant is very poor, and you will smell of oil smoke when you eat breakfast.

This place is beautiful! Old Spanish colonial building with much of the original feel. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We came back for a second night and when we visit again we will stay here if visiting the colonial district.

I was moved from a good King bed room to another one by the elevator. After I paid and extended. Random noise from it all night long. Person at desk said some one reserved that room. How? I asked. You can’t reserve a room number. I am hot about the situation.
