Studio 27 in Santo Domingo

Clean and comfortable rooms for the price. Great for the Budget Traveler (someone not requiring a swimming pool or 24 hour room service)!

I'm very pleased with my time there, i travel twice a year, and stay in several hotels in Santo Domingo (DR) and of all hotel that stay, i never feel so secure, is my second time there, i hope to be there soon, they treated the customers like family.Thanks for everything

If you come to Santo Domingo; then you have to stay here. I've traveled to almost 25 countries and have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. This place is in a good location; it's safe and secure. It's close to the President Palace, Zonal Colonial, the beach, and other places to see in the city. It's a family owned business that is run by the family. So, they care about the service and hospitality. My friend and I from Miami stayed here for almost a week. If I come back to Santo Domingo, I'd definitely come back here.

The owners are friendly and near caribe tour, the main bus station to different cities and provinces. If you wish to stay longer, you can ask to rent a long term room.
Each room has its own kitchen and bathroom. They also have washing machine and dry machine, if you need laundry service, please find some quarters of us dollars, each laundry cost 5*0.25 coins of dollars.
But the room is not really spacious, in the share living room in 4th or 5th floor, you can see the sea view, very quiet and relax to sit on the chairs in the living room. In the neighborhood of offices of governments, not a touristic place, but near the police headquarter so the safety is without doubt ok. And during weekends not so many people walikng on the street.
Walk distance to zona colonial is sbout 20-25 minutes, on the way to zona colonial you can see palace of president, for foreigners you can go to visit, but need your passport original.
On avenue 27th you can also find a bus stop to go to china town, each ride costs 15peso, or uber is not expensive in this country. There are motor concho (motor taxi) service on the street, but normally for foreigners they ask for high price, average price is 30-50 pesos for motor taxi, if they adk for high price, please try to call the uber instead, because they ask for higher price than uber.
