Novus Plaza Hodelpa Mini-hotel

This hotel is ideally located smack in the middle of the colonial district. The rooms are small and I wasn't a fan of the two single beds I got. Also upon arrival there was human hair on both beds and in the bathroom so I'm happy I brought extra towels to put on the pillow to sleep on. The scent in the bathroom intermittently was not pleasant even when you stepped outside of the room. It seem the carpets may need to be deep cleaned.
The Cafe for breakfast was ok but often times the table mats weren't properly cleaned so I would opt for them to remove my mat that use it. The hot chocolate was really good but they never offered enough and the breakfast choices was not as well rounded as I think it should have been. The last day I gave up and went to a nearby Cafe. The staff was pleasant and helpful though. Even in the lobby you had attendants wiping around guests I think that should be scheduled for a less trafficking time unless there's an accident. Overall I would probably stay at the hotel again but this time I would bring my own linen and towels and some disinfectant. I just really don't think the place was being cleaned properly.

Location is perfect.
Customer experience is good depending on who at the desk. Some didn't smile at all. Secured with security and be aware you cannot have a guest unless you are willing to pay $30 additional USD not DOP. They will also need to have ID to be scanned for their records and regardless if they are coming up for 30 seconds or over an hour you will have to pay the fee per guest each time and each night. Other than that I'd stay here again.

We had a snag checking in. We were a large group, and everyone's passport needed to be scanned whether they paid or not. Toom super long. Nevertheless, the hotel was very clean, great location in El Conde. Very affordable and will stay again.

Great hotel in the heart of Santo Domingo, just one block from Parque Colón. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. The staff is very friendly and always ready to assist with any questions about the area. There's also a supermarket just one block away, which is super convenient. I highly recommend using Uber for transportation rather than the taxis waiting outside the hotel. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Rooms were smaller than the pictures, the windows couldn't be opened, but overall it's been a good experience, the location is very good and the staff is friendly

Neat n clean hotel with breakfast. Lunch n dinner not available. You have to go to other restaurant owned by them about 150 to 200 metres away.l did not like it.
