Bonanova Park

Very friendly staff.
Very clean rooms.
Great location in a great neighbourhood without much noise, yet still close to lively areas.

We were staying in another hotel which we had booked in advance, but due to unfortunate reasons, we couldn’t extend our stay there due to unavailability. We found this nearby hotel, Bonanova Park. It looks like an old building but still okay at first glance.

Room and Facilities:
The beds are not very comfortable for the tariff we paid, especially when comparing with other nearby hotels. The room felt like an old apartment with minimal facilities. There was no tea coffee kettle, no water glasses and the classic LCD TV was tiny, and the linen sheets and towels were faded and dull. The hotel only has one lift, and you need to stand close to the lift door to ensure you get in, as it’s a first-come-first-serve situation.

Noise and Maintenance:
It was noisy due to some maintenance work during the day, which made it impossible to take a nap. This was stressful and added to the overall discomfort of our stay.

Breakfast:
The breakfast area was just okay. The person serving there was passionate about his job, but the quality of the boiled eggs was poor. They had a sour taste, likely because they were old and had been left at room temperature for too long. This should be avoided. Additionally, the Spanish omelette served the next day was prepared the day before, which is not acceptable.

Staff:
The staff at the reception were very friendly, but some seemed to need more experience. One young staff member appeared to have a language barrier, making communication in English difficult. However, the lady at the reception was very helpful during our stay. My best wishes to her.

Conclusion:
Overall, the tariff is high and not worth the room. While the staff were friendly and the breakfast server was dedicated, the room conditions, breakfast quality, and daytime noise from maintenance were disappointing.

The hotel located in a convenient location walkable to the metro station. The staff and service are great. They are flexible on check-in time. We arrived way early, but they let us in when our room is available. They helped us when we need additional services. The area is residential area, so many stores, restaurant around.

First, the hotel is rated 2 stars, so don’t expect too much. The staff is nice, friendly, and always keen to help. The location is also good, in a quiet area, and close to Metro Christina Marina. The breakfast was good (except the coffee), and the rooms were clean. Regarding the price, it could have been slightly cheaper, because the place is aging.

We stayed a few days in this hotel! I travel so much and can say the Hotel is very nice , reception is very helpful and hospitable. Location is on the best street Diagonal . On arrival we received chocolate complimentary. Room is enough big for 2 people, very quite area for take a rest during the night, breakfast nice. For price what we paid the hotel is perfect for Barcelona. By walk maximum 40 min to the main streets or can be used bus just 15 min .

For a 2 star Hotel I thought the service was perfect. My room was always kept clean and tidy thanks to the great work by the staff members. Members at the reception were also very helpful. I knew that the location of the hotel wasn't that central so I cannot really complain. Overall, I thought it was an excellent choice so thank you, it was a lovely stay!

I chose it only because of the location, but I'm happy to have chosen it. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is nice, and the reception personal is incredibly helpful and attentive (some more than others, but all good in general). If I have to find a drawback, the walls are rather thin, but nothing terrible.

Will stay again, if I'm in the area.
