Please read before staying, you’d be better at a holiday inn.

Rooms: the rooms are terribly dark, no natural light, can’t see a thing, not one proper lamp. Packing, working, etc was impossible and required flashlight on phone. Please put a real lamp or overhead lighting here. All of the furniture has wood peeling off and scuffs all over like a 1980s dingy hotel. AC is set at 74 Fahrenheit and you can’t change it even though it looks like you can. WiFi barely works and only in 30% of room if you’re in a corner room. You cannot do video calls in the rooms with their WiFi. Bathroom has consistent sewage smell.

Lobby: lobby very difficult to find. It’s not great with luggage requiring you to carry upstairs to elevator, and then when I was checking out elevator just didn’t work.

Staff: staff is mostly very nice, except who I think was main manager. Upon me asking if there was another wifi option because calls kept dropping, couldn’t get wifi in bed, he said “you must be on the wrong wifi, because we have wifi in the entire hotel.” And I said “no I am on the right one.” And he said “well it works everywhere.” Helpful…

Location: location is in the thick of it, but not for good reason. Surrounded by tourist shops, screaming people all night, drilling and construction starting at 8am.

Last two times I stayed at Mercer Hotel down the street and it was LOVELY. I was hoping they would apply the level of service and detail to this, but it appears they just let it go to waste.
