Hotel Sirimiri

We stayed here for one night at the end of our Camino and it was perfect! This hotel is located right next to the old town and a five minute walk from a hop on hop off bus stop. We only had 24hrs in Bilbao and because of the hotel location we were able to do the hop on hop off city tour, visit the Guggenheim Museum and go to the old town in the evening for dinner and drinks. The staff are warm and welcoming and full of information which made navigating our way around very easy. Our room was spacious and clean. There was free WiFi available also. Breakfast was generous and plentiful. It was a little noisy at night outside on the street but that is to be expected on a Friday night in any city centre. The next time I return to Bilbao I will happily stay in Hotel Sirimiri again.

The location was close to perfect. The famous food market was 10 mins walking. The streets are easy to walk on ( we are seniors). There were nearby stores as well. The room was comfortable. They didn’t have a cafe or place to eat after breakfast buffet. They only had a vending machine. We arrived 10 pm by train and had the sandwiches from the machine and mine had molds 😩

I spent 5 nights here , on arrival at the airport I took a taxi to the hotel took about 30 minutes, cost 25 euros ( October 2022 ) on arrival reception staff friendly and helpful I was handed a tourist map and shown places of interest. I had a room on the second floor, the room was clean and tidy, excellent shower room and toilet. Comfortable bed. Good strong WiFi signal. Quiet not a great deal of street noise. The tram stop is 2 minutes from the hotel, I used the tram quite a lot .Buy a Barik card from the ticket machine, there are Instructions in English. In my opinion a Barik card is better value than a Bilbao tourist card. The hotel has a great location from the seven streets, lots of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was good , nice coffee. There is a supermarket next door to the hotel. I would certainly return and recommend this hotel.

Best located small hotel ever. Next to tram and bus stops or 10 mins walk to Casco Viejo metro and old town with hot spot for scores of bars & restaurants. Quiet, very clean hotel, in good condition. Excellent bed-linen & towels. Comfortable bed. Decent sized room. Good shower. Air con in room. Housekeeping excellent, staff very helpful & friendly, multiple languages spoken. Hotel's car park first come first served. You may find free street parking or get plenty of pay-parking available close by. Not a big issue. Reception very helpful for parking.

Great 3* hotel in a handy location, near the Old Town and tram stop. Friendly, helpful staff - Unai helped us organise our weekend, with great tips on places to visit, where to eat pintxos and even how to buy the travel pass; couldn’t have a better front of house man. Although there was no bar at the hotel, it’s close proximity to the Old Town meant that wasn’t a problem. My only issue was the lack of a power shower but the hot water was plentiful and other than that, we couldn’t fault the room. Had a great weekend and would definitely recommend this as a base for exploring Bilbao.

Very good hotel with parking within a stones throw of the city. The room was large and modern with floor to ceiling windows. Staff were pleasant and helpful

Not bad, breakfast could be much better, the room was fantastic, parking a bit too small.

Sirimiri was one of our favorite accommodations over our 2 week trip. The rooms were comfortable and cozy with a beautiful view & small balcony. It’s right in Old Town a minute walk from the market. Love love loved this place!
