Very nice hotel, great breakfast

Everything was perfect, good service at reception, excellent room, they upgraded it and my requests were attended to, phew, I am totally satisfied, very good and if I return to Bilbao we will repeat.

My stay in Decembre 2024 was just as wonderful as it was awful. The lobby the rooms and the whole interieur is very beautiful and clean. I slept very well in the comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. The service and the breakfast were outstanding. Stayed 2 nights for business. So many tourists and crowded especially at breakfast, could not find seat due to package tourists. No bath tub and room was not big enough to relax. Better improve traffic control at breakfast. Close to river to walk around, location is good.

Amazing place in the city center. We were lucky to get an upgrade to the top floor so we had a great view from a very spacious room Stuff was extremely helpful in e.g. extending our stay (thanks, Roberto!) Not cheap, but definitely worth it. Great breakfast, too!

Wonderful and beautiful hotel. I had the pleasure of staying during Asta Naguisa. The service was excellent and even helped us get a last minute booking at a sister hotel. The location and the metro station beside the hotel allowed freedom to move around without an issue. I would highly recommend and look forward to visiting the beautiful city of Bilbao again.

Location is on the Center excellent with a view on the main square , next to all shops , 10 min from the museum, very nice quiet rooms . Excellent breakfast . Garage for 36 euros per day

Too far from town and no traffic after 11:00

I believe this is one of the best hotels in Bilbao. The rooms are big and clean. I reckon most rooms get a view of the Nervion river. The breakfast is varied. Great value for money, clean and friendly staff. Comfy beds and nice shower.

There were 2 things which were not in line with my expectations: The window in the room was blocked since the handle was removed, so we could not open the window for fresh air or emergency The airconditioning was very poor. It is located in the middle of downtown Bilbao, within walking distance of almost everything you want to do or see around town. It is very modern, with a nice breakfast and lunch restaurant and, at night, a coffee shop and bar with an outside garden. The rooms are very nice and well-decorated.

It is in the heart of the city and near to main station in Bilbao. You will get public transport in a walking distance from the hotel. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. 15mins away from Airport. For Breakfast they have vegan options too. Good service and polite staff.

It was located next to the San Mames Stadium, so it was very convenient for transportation. The breakfast was very delicious, and included local Basque ingredients.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous location, outstanding service. We had a spectacular view of the Guggenheim from our hotel window. The buffet breakfast was amazing. Best of all was the service. Surprised to see the negative reviews here as this was not our experience at all. Very comfortable rooms with a good breakfast buffet and excellent central location. It was a luxurious hotel for a solo traveler. As it was my first time in Spain and I was arriving at night, I chose this hotel which is directly connected by bus from the airport. The location was excellent, located above the Bilbao Express Bus Station building. It's not far from downtown. The Busner metro is also nearby. I was satisfied with both the location and the cleanliness. While the room wasn't particularly large, it was fully equipped with a refrigerator, hairdryer, safe, and electric kettle. Location was excellent, just on top of the Bilbao Intermodal bus station with a direct airport bus service. The hotel was a short walk away from the main sights of Bilbao, which we appreciated. Very nice hotel with a wonderful breakfast. The room was very well kept, with a nice balcony and all the necessary amenities. Hotel Hesperia Bilbao is a good city hotel — not fancy, but comfortable and with a decent location that makes it easy to explore the city. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, which gave a great first impression. The only downside was that the person behind the bar could have been as friendly as the reception team. Rooms are outdated and the beds are hard; it's not the cleanest place either. The shower floor seems to slope upward, and the drain is slow, so there was a bit of water on the floor after using it. Not really a 4-star hotel in my opinion. Receptionist who greeted us wasn't really friendly, the room could be cleaner (hair on the floor and in the bathroom). Beds were super uncomfortable, although this is a very individual thing. Location was great.

Lovely hotel, very central to everything in Bilbao, situated right in the heart of cafes, shops and museums. Yet was quiet. Only downside no sitting outside area and room on the inside was a bit dark but the location, friendliness of staff and the service is second to none.

We booked a Double Room but were given a Standard Room with a bed far too small for two people. The room and bathroom clearly didn’t match the advertised category. The difference was noticeable in comfort and layout. This is misleading and disappointing. We’ve requested a refund for the price difference but have yet to receive a fair resolution. Good location, you can get main sites by walk. Room is quite and clean, very comfortable bed and pillow. Breakfast is average. Omelette was cold and too salted. We ordered fried eggs, but it was full of oil. But if you don’t eat eggs- you will enjoy this breakfast.

Great 4* hotel in the middle of the old town, next to the Plaza Nueva (pintxo bar area). You will recognize the age of the hotel inside of a room (stains on wall, conditions of the furnitures), but it is ok, especially if you find a great offer. If you want a bigger room, choose the Space room, with overlooking to Nervión river and the theatre square right at the entrance of the hotel.

I have stayed multiple times at this hotel because of the servuce, quality, value and location. The desk staff has always been helpful if I ever have issues. We had a great stay with our dog at a very reasonable price. There was a slight odd smell when we arrived, but it quickly went away after we opened the windows. The hotel is pet-friendly, though there was an extra charge of €12 for our dog and €18 for parking. Breakfast cost €9.50 per person and included fresh pastries, fruit, and yogurts. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay.

It's a pretty nice city, and you can walk to almost anywhere. There's the British Palace and a shopping street nearby. It's very clean and the rooms are quite spacious.

One of the best locations - the old city is in the walking distance, the shopping stores are right there, the greatest shopping mall is across the street. The room is spacious and clean and the staff is friendly. The bus stations and metro are nearby and the bus station to the airport is a 10 min walk away. I recommend this hotel.
