It was in a good location for what we were doing. The rooms were good. It has two beds that are pushed together but an overall good size and comfort. The breakfast has a good selection with friendly staff.

Wonderful and beautiful hotel. I had the pleasure of staying during Asta Naguisa. The service was excellent and even helped us get a last minute booking at a sister hotel. The location and the metro station beside the hotel allowed freedom to move around without an issue. I would highly recommend and look forward to visiting the beautiful city of Bilbao again.

Good value for money. It does its job and is strategically located at walking distance from the Guggenheim Museum and at 20 min walk to the Casco Viejo. The only flaw was that while we had booked a room with king size bed we got two twin beds.

Benefits: About a 10-minute walk from the airport shuttle bus station (Plaza Moyua), and also very close to the metro stop. We found the "Abando" area a really great place to stay in Bilbao: we liked the atmosphere of it; lots of nice bars and restaurants within 5 to 10 min walking distance from the hotel. The river is nearby so you can have a nice stroll by the riverside, and the Guggenheim is a 15 min walk away from Hotel Abando. Hotel has very helpful staff, is clean, big rooms, nice beds.

This was a great hotel. The location is fantastic, with lots of good transit connections (tram, buses, metro). Right next to the football stadium too and walking distance to the Guggenheim, or a short tram ride away. The view from the restaurant, of the river, was fantastic. A hip spot, easily walkable to almost anything one wants to see and visit in Bilbao, and close to the subway for easy connections virtually anywhere in Spain and beyond. Clean, fresh, and very nice hotel ideally situated between the old town and the city centre. Spacious, well maintained, and modern rooms. Lovely breakfast restaurant with a good selection of pastries, hot and cold buffet. Unfortunately, it wasn't always filled up if things were out, but for a hotel it was also very cheap. Would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

Great location, modern hotel. The only slight thing is that the rooms are really small and that If you haven’t been with your partner too long, the bathroom is glass and you can see most things including people sitting on the toilet. It didn’t bother us but then we’ve been together for 22 years :)

We had a lovely stay in this hotel right in the old town of Bilbao. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was also a rooftop bar which I didn't know about at time of booking, it turned out to be the best part with fantastic views over the city. It's a shame we were only staying one night. Thank you, we'll definitely be back!

The hotel is new , clean and comfortable. Although it's a 4 stars hotel, facilities provided do not correspond to 4 stars. The staff is excellent, breakfast very good. It doesn't provide a working space, so I wouldn't recommend it for business trips. The bathroom walls are from glass, which is not recommended for couples. Also, since it's in the old town, it can be a little noisy at night

Very nice hotel , near to old town , staff friendly and give us good advise on getting to places and finding things around. Room was simple but clean and comfortable. We'll definitely go back.!!

This is a two star budget hotel, if you don't mind that sort of thing, then this place is perfectly clean and close to the old city. When we went it was the choice of this at 91€ or bigger chains at 180€+ in equivalent locations yes you'll get slightly cheaper further out but then you'll have to tram it in. If you have a car you MUST book when booking room, booking sites just say parking available...

Very nice location 5 min walking to main old town area ( bar, tourism..), They dont have mini bar or fridge in the room Hotel is in an old city area, next to many ladies night clubs, not the best area to walk with children or at night Parking is not easy in the area so better ask for a parking slot in advance, they have very few of them on a condo...

Nice and helpful staff. Good location, although not a lot of restaurants/bars/cafes so you need to walk ~10-15 min to get to more busy areas. There’s a nice park right next to the hotel if you’re traveling with dogs, they have a fenced out dog park. The hotel itself is nothing special, it’s pretty old, but it has everything you need. They don’t do breakfasts they just have a vending machine.

Very poor area it look and is not very Inviting lot of men hanging around. Very steep road we would not have book if we new as I have a mobility problem not restaurant for breakfast with out going up and down stEps and steep road sorry the staff are great by when we book again for Bilbao it will not be here.😭

You get what you pay for. An old hotel with a pretty poor interior. Some traces of renovation are seen as well, but it isn't going to be enough for a demanding traveler. Meanwhile it provides private rooms with private bathrooms for a very affordable price. Personnel is also very polite. There already are lots of fancy and fabulous hotels in the city, but the ones like this are needed too!

We had a fantastic three night stay in July. The hotel is at a great location next to Guggenheim and a short walk along the river to the old town or city center. What we really liked were the quiet room, excellent breakfast and friendly attitude from the staff. Would definitely return!

In person, the hotel is much nicer than the pictures show. Room was clean and modern. Nice patio on the second floor and complimentary coffee in the afternoon. Staff was very friendly to us and spoke good English. Location is 3 minutes walking from train station and under 10 to plaza mouyua. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovey hotel. However during our stay we found the room really hot. Even if we did alter the thermostat in the room. The room temp was 23 c. We phoned reception and we were told the air con wasn’t working and we could always open a window. Very true. However the street noise below then kept us awake.
