Hotel Gran Bilbao

The rooms are extremely spacious. Only downer was the telephone was not working and considering the room size the was very little storage and places to hang clothing. Just one small cupboard in the corridor.

Also we had two double rooms only one had a dressings table and ours was even missing a bin and sufficient lighting.
Except for that, the stuff was lovely, friendly and kind. The breakfast was amazing. Especially the chef that makes the pancakes.

Stylish hotel and friendly staff. The room was spacious and came with nice touches, shame the bed is a bit hard. Really good placement to get into town. The only downer is the car park - the EV charging is great in theory but incredibly hard to use. They're also not very clear on whether there are spaces available.

We had a lovely two night stay here, when we first arrived we were greeted with a very nice lady at reception who welcomed us.
Our breakfast was fantastic with so much to choose from each morning with lovely staff too.
On the day we arrived it was my Birthday, when we came back from dinner there was a gorgeous slice of cake and a note left in our room for me. I have to say that was a really nice surprise.
So thank you for our beautiful stay.
We hope to return sometime again.

We loved this Hotel! Service was excellent, attendants were professional, helpful and knowledgeable as well as very nice.
Rooms were spacious, had great views and impeccable. Beds were very comfortable. Food was delicious, healthy and excellent quality! Location was very close to downtown and quiet at night.
I highly recommend Hotel Gran Bilbao, I will return and tell my friends about it!

We had a wonderful one-night stay at the hotel! Everything was great, from the clean and comfortable room to the fabulous breakfast that exceeded our expectations.

One minor downside was the somewhat noisy water pipes near our room in the morning, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t detract from our overall experience.

A special thanks goes to Mihaela, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming at the breakfast. She gave us fantastic tips on exploring the city. We’d definitely stay here again!

Underground secured parking was a plus but the cost was €13. 4 bottles of complimentary water was much appreciated on the 41° day. There are free shuttles offered to downtown but the times didn't work for us to take advantage of them (1:30pm is the last shuttle until 7pm, return seats aren't guaranteed). Room was very nice, we had a view of the river and bridge. Huge spacious bathroom, with all the amenities (including razor kit, toothbrush, slippers, shower cap, shoe shine kit). Breakfast wasn't included but we could add it at check-in for a discounted rate of €13 per person. We didn't so we can't rate the food. Though there was a kettle in the room with instant coffee and a selection of teas. Had we wanted to sleep in we definitely needed ear plugs because we were right by the main elevators. It's a popular hotel and thus there was a queue to checkout.

Excellent for families. It's spacious and modern. Big TV. Just the essential furniture. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with four twin beds and two bathrooms. Our two kids spent the night like like at home. Above our initial expectations.

A good European 4 with all the consequences, large rooms, but the location is not the most convenient in relation to the centre, although from the main attractions can be reached within 20-40 minutes, there are these attractions free Shuttle to and back, on schedule, for me this is a good option in terms of price / quality

We did not have much information about our hotel when we came to Bilbao.
We found more than we expected from a 4 star hotel.
They deserve at least 5 stars.
They knocked on our door last night and said they came for room service; When we opened the door, there was a large plate of mixed fruit and an envelope in the hand of the attendant at the door.
I said, "we did not order anything" , they said, "it was from the hotel", and he left.
When we opened the envelope, they were celebrating our sons birthday.
I guess they had learned my sons age from the hotel records and made such delicacy.

Its very nice hotel . Helpfull staff . Clean rooms . Highly recommended

Enjoyed my stay. The beds were comfortable, and the cleaning crew cleaned them quickly. Also the room were a great size, mine had tile floors. The bathroom was ver nice as well, with nicely provided amenities. The breakfast was incredible, many options to choose from, and you can enjoy a great view with the large window to the far side of the breakfast room. Close enough to the city.
