Hotel Mercure Jardines de Albia

Rooms are big and confortable. Really nice stay. Even the toiletries are good quality. One would assume all four star hotels to uphold these standards. Sadly, that's not the case. The missing star is because the area can be a bit too happening and coming back in the evening is a bit daunting. If you don't intend to join the party ask for a room on the other side. We had to trade a beautiful view for silence.

The hotel was wonderful. Great room with a very comfortable bed and lovely clean bathroom.

Nice museum in a very nice area. Great location where you can walk everywhere. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and the rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is quite expensive, I would recommend going out and having some pintxos (the Galician version of tapas). The spa and whirlpool are only open if you have an appointment for a treatment (minimum 35€).

Suggest more English speaking and premium channels for TV, a complimentary or less expensive breakfast option.
Clean, concierge service is very helpful for Bilbao navigation, but lacking knowledge of toll road information. Bartender in lobby bar friendly and attentive.
Located near the riverfront, walking distance to Guggenheim, shops, restaurants, parks.
Upgrade from previous hotel as it lacked AC.

We had a fantastic stay. Great location.

The food was lovely. We had breakfast included, you can have a fresh omelette made, good selection of pastries and fruit, tea, coffee, fresh orange juice etc.
I ate dinner there on one night. I had a house salad. It was huge and really delicious.
The team were lovely, they gave us an interior room, far away from the noise of the night club.
And when I was ill on the last day, all my friends went to the museum, they allowed me stay in the room until 1:45pm until we left for the airport, so I felt very grateful.

Basic hotel with spa and parking. Spa is well worth a stay, it's got a circuit of jacuzzis thalasso-style for a small extra fee. You need to book in advance and we weren't told. It's a bit negligent not to mention that as it's unusual to have to book. I squeezed in a circuit in before checking out but could go when I'd planned so was disappointed. Some rooms can be quite dark and poky, ours was a bit claustrophobic. Beds and pillows seemed old and lumpy. Not super comfortable. You can hear the music venue next door sometimes but it's no louder than regular city noises so it's not really a problem. Breakfast has a wide range of options and omelets cooked to order which is a nice touch.

Very clean rooms. The waitstaff and front desk staff are very kind and attentive. I had to stay here on and off for a month for work. The breakfast is decent and has quite a few hot options. Coffee and tea made to order if you’d like. I also visited the spa and thermal bath circuit. Loved it. Unfortunately some guests go in pairs and talk the entire time. But other than that it was a very nice experience. Pillows a little hard but the bed is comfy. Water in the rooms gets nice and hot. They even have a towel warmer. There is a heater/fan but no AC, however opening the window at night does the trick. Close to downtown sites. Overall a very positive experience.

Excellent hotel. I could not find any fault with the hotel. Quiet Location near river. 5 mins walk to shopping area. 8 mins walk to Abando Train Station. Staff are all friendly. Nice breakfast. Room is spacious with coffee machine. Comfortable bed.

My room was kind of adequate in terms of size . However the view was disappointing, backyard, just one window , limited natural light .
Breakfast was great as well as location (good restaurants and bars nearby, not far for a tramp stop - so you can reach a Gugenhaim museum in approx. 15 minutes).

Excellent hotel! Very nice rooms: clean, big, spacious, and tidy. The breakfast offer was very good, as was the selection of coffees.
The staff was very friendly, proactive, and helpful. Moreover, it is quite close to many points of interest in Bilbao.

A definite 10/10 and I can easily recommend this hotel.
