R2 Bahia Cala Ratjada - Adults Only

Highly recommend! Such a lovely place with very kind staff and amazing food. We were suprised with the variety and quality of food, fresh ingredients and local cuisine, what else could you wish for? The room service was very discrete and they did a great job, our room was clean and we had a fresh towels every 2 days. Hotel's location is great if you don't mind short walks - 15 minutes to Calla Agulla beach (really nice), 10 minutes to a seaside with a number of restaurants and clubs, 5/10 minutes to a nearby shops (Eroski). We are really happy that we picked this hotel, looking forward to our next trip to Mallorca - this Island is one of a kind!! Best regards from Poland :)

We were staying in this hotel for about a week and we would recommend it to anyone. It is located nearby woods and is a very good starting point to explore the nearby beaches - Son Mol and Cala Agulla. It is located only 5 minutes from the bus stop so we could explore other beautiful beaches and locations as well. It took me some time to get used to food as I was hoping for a bit more of local meals (paella for dinner was simply great!), and as a vegetarian I would really love a clear indication which of the meals are suitable for me (sauces especially) and which are not, but the staff was always extremely helpful :) As to the rooms, they were clean and the beds were comfortable. We were spending most of our time outdoors anyway but when we were back, we always had clean towels and our beds were made. The shower is not perfectly isolated and the water is coming out of it, and thus we had to use more towels than we would like.
We didn't use the pools so I cannot say if they were adequate, but who is coming to Mallorca to stay in the hotel?
To sum up, the hotel is not located very close to the beach, but is in an equal walking distance from all surrounding beaches and you can make a different choice every morning. If you have a good attitude towards people at all, you will notice immediately that the staff is helpful and friendly. A huge plus for no kids during our stay ;)

The hotel has all services, canteen, spa with sauna, swimming pool. it is located a little far from the sea (15 minutes) and from the center (5 minutes) but easily reachable. great if you have a car available and want to visit all the nearby coves. the staff are very nice and the canteen has food for all tastes. in my opinion it has a fair price for what it offers. I advise it

Fairly small, clean, modern and excellent staff. The first night we arrived the hotel has booked several football teams in which was a terrible idea, they caused so much noise and were singing and shouting at 3am, once they left (thankfully the night after we arrived) the hotel was perfect.

We are an English couple and what I will say about this resort and area, it’s all German. When you go out for food, the menus are even in German which is a new experience to us.

The Room:
Modern, Clean and extremely suitable for a stay. If you book a Junior Sweet you’ll be in for a great stay as those rooms are really really nice!

The Breakfast:
One of the best all inclusive breakfasts I’ve been to in Europe. Firstly the seating area is great and the outside bit really adds something. There’s a lot to choose from, having an Egg station is great, we had omelettes made for us as well as scrambled eggs (you can pick what you want in it, I had fresh chorizo usually). There’s a pancake ‘crepe’ section which was brilliant, we both had them with Nutella, berries & cinnamon sugar. There’s yoghurts, cereals, fruits and more. I’m not a huge fan of hot breakfast in Spain but it was surprisingly good. Coffee machine which grinds fresh coffee beans as well as fresh juices. The chefs did a traditional sweet pastry dish on our last day and it was exquisite.

The Staff:
Extremely friendly, can’t do enough to help, the guy on reception from Sardinia is a credit to the company.

Location:
We found it was the perfect location. Within a 15 min walk to all beaches (we tried 3 different ones) and a 5/10 min walk to the front where all the restaurants are. I’d suggest heading to the bottom and turning right for the better ones (Euforia, Pasta Pasta, Traumeria), they’re a bit more classy than the other side. The hotel is far enough from the front that it’s not noisy but close enough to not feel far from everything.

We would definitely come back and stay here again providing you don’t book large group of lads!

Well done guys, it’s rare to find affordable modern hotels.

We had a wonderful stay at the R2 Bahia. The staff were very welcoming and kind, and very responsive to any questions or needs. They upgraded our room for free and everything was very clean, the beds very comfortable. The breakfast room had a lovely terrace with a garden and a good selection of food. If you decide to stay here, make sure to check out the nearby calas and make a visit to the towns of Arta and Alcudia. Highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel. Modern spacious rooms that are kept spotless. Very attentive staff who go that extra mile. Lovely spa area. Came during v quiet time during pandemic. In a residential area so peaceful and handful of restaurants nearby the locals frequent, and the main strip and marina only 10 mins walk.

Perfect for single people . Friendly and helpful staff . Good food and good vibes
