We have no complaints about this hotel. Check-in was easy and welcoming, although we were never given a WiFi password. Our room was a corner room on the 4th floor. It was fantastic. One window looked out to the mountains and the other had a view over the building in front of us to the Port. Each morning was a delight. Chose this hotel for parking to be told it was full and we had to go and park the car in a public car park 10mins away. The room could have been great, but a lot of external noise got in waking us up and also the minibar fridge made you think someone had entered your room with the noises it made. Great hotel in a very good location close to the Roman museum and other attractions. The gentleman at reception was very friendly and efficient, and help us to navigate parking the car in the underground carpark. Our room was quiet , clean and had all amenities to make our stay very comfortable. Very nice stay , would recommend.

Stayed a couple of nights during the Romans festival. The hotel is very calm, and the reception staff is very helpful. The elevators don't keep you waiting. Bed very comfortable but no doona, bathroom had hair still in bathtub and only one set of toiletries even tho room was booked for 2 people. No conditioner in bottle and Toilet paper not folded. Great place. Quite humid in the summer. The old town is cosy and relaxing. Saw the Greek ruins which are impressive. The hotel is very central and easy to walk to and from the old town.

Check in was prompt, friendly and provided all the information needed. We arrived at the hotel early, not expecting to be able to check-in but the room was ready. Convenient hotel for tourists. Large modern hotel on the edge of Cartagena. Walking distance to the touristic centre and water front. Good breakfast. Big clean rooms. Easy parking on street or in secure compound.

You don’t have that many options for accommodation in Cartagena, so this hotel is okay for a short stay. There’s plenty of free parking around, the staff is friendly, the bed is comfy, and the breakfast is decent. On the downside, the hotel is in serious need of renovations - there are water-leak stains in the bathroom, aging furniture and creaking floors. Also, they turn air conditioning off in winter...

The staff was really friendly and nice. Breakfast great - they had all essentials. The hotel room itself was however not really clean - if I was not exhausted I would have asked either to give another room or to clean mine. Bathroom was full of dark hair - quite disgusting. But well, the price was also super cheap - not sure if cleaning is included in the price :D

We only stayed one night but they were so welcoming and saw we were tired and were so nice. We got upgraded to a suite and slept very well. also the rooms were clean, organised and had everything needed.

This is a great hotel In this price range. It is well located for excursions into the casco viejo of Cartagena. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. Friendly hotel. Stayed there only for half a day. But hotel was very clean with good ambience. They have a small restorant by side of hotel. We tried pork ribs there, so soft and yummy....

Nice hotel, we were very comfortable here. Pleasant staff good communication in English which is harder to find in this area. It is close to the military museum (great) and the centre of town. Tip, we spent over an hour trying to find the entrance to the Roman Theatre, it is opposite the big town hall, you enter via a tunnel that runs under the cathedral, very interesting.

The Hotel Carlos III is the best hotel of Cartagena. I strongly recommend it.

It was wonderful. Really nice staff. The game room has a ps3, ps4, Xbox, and 3 flat-screen TVs, just bring ur own games cuz I think people stole most of them. People. Also a bunch of computers. Lovely staff, excellent breakfast. Slightly dated, but very clean, comfy and spacious rooms. The mattress could be improved (too hard and springy) but we've had worse! Easy to get into town and plenty of free parking available.

The room was comfortable and had a mini fridge and valuables safe. Staff mostly spoke good or passable English. Dining options were limited, but not unexpected in the middle of the off season. Plenty of places to eat in the retail park on the other side of the industrial estate. Very convenient for the airport and motorway network, but not so for the waterfront or old city centre.

Great value for money. Room was spacious, clean and even had a terrace. Great location, staff friendly. Breakfast a bit chaotic as not self service. Only thing missing was tea and coffee facilities in room.

Rooms were nice. I was in a triple room with one extra bed in the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was tasty, although I did get an electric shock from the toaster

It was a nice hotel and room especially for 3 stars accommodation. We faced the problem with a door key during our stay but had been given a combination to open the lock, thou not a big problem. The service and cleanliness were perfect, the food was a bit scarce and there was no hot food, e.g. eggs or scrambled eggs.

Enjoyable city break. The hotel is perfectly located for all the local amenities and sightseeing venues. All staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The location is the best. Just go out a little and you will be happy in the evening. Highly recommended for the location.

Very clean, espacious and quiet room, the male receptionist was extremely kind and welcoming, time was taken to explain to us a bit of history of Cartagena and adviced on places to visit. small dogs are accepted which was our case. (Not on buses though!) Sweets and coffee offered at our arrival. I would definitely go back!

Nice personal not fare away to the centrum the bus stop outside the hotel and with taxsi it cost 7 eur. The only thing we thouth was bad was the beds.No good madress. Wifi and television in all room

This place has very nice vibes and everything you need. Staff is friendly and welcoming, they also cook delicious meals (even as vegetarians we had a lot to choose from). Pitches are nice and spacious, water & electricity connection and decorated with small lights and lemon and orange trees. Only con is outdated sanitary, but is clean and has warm water ( they are building a new sanitary block)

A good place to relax and unwind. Ablution facilities are okay. We had a nice pitch with space to put our chairs out. The pool was nice. There is a cafe onsite if you don't feel like cooking. There is also a small selection of fresh vegetables to buy. They also have rooms available if you are not in a Camper.

Réception was great. Placements are spacious. Food is delicious. I had red cabbage soup... and beet fries... Yum ! 6€ to wash and dry a load of laundry. You won't be disappointed to stay here.

Great camper spot, owners are super friendly and the place has some stunning views. Great start for hikes and bike rides. Nice swimming pool, little bar, shop and take away food. Dogs welcome, and general good vibe.
