Hotel Servigroup Galua

We love this hotel. The location is second to none. The hotel was once again very clean and we were always able to get a sunbed. The staff are helpful and friendly and we were able to easily book the spa facilities.
We came last year in low season and I gave it 5 stars in every category.
This time we came in August and early September. The reason why I've not given it 5 stars for service is because for the first week it was 'assisted buffet' service. The food choices were far more limited during this time than last year when it was usual buffet service and it was often slow as there weren't enough staff to do the job. We asked why it was like this and were told it had been like it all season so we accepted it.
The most puzzling part was that on the 1st September after assisted breakfast service it changed back to normal service. At first we thought it was because there were less guests but after that day the were more guests than ever for the rest of our stay. The food choices improved too. Please could you explain the reason for this?
The outside bar staff were mainly pleasant but some of the younger staff were less so. Our room was not serviced until at least 3pm each day and replacement toiletries were therefore hit and miss as the staff were probably rushing. Such a shame for these smaller things to not be quite right - am sure they can be rectified

I love this hotel and will return. There is a direct connecting door to the beach. The food was of excellent quality and the staff were really friendly and accommodating.

Rooms are amazing, beautiful views. The buffet is not great. There was a big party of people that arrived while we were there and the bar staff were totally overwhelmed and we could not get a drink. Management should have been better prepared. Our room key card failed to work our room door on 5 occasions and it didn’t operate the gates to car park or from beach to pool area.
Plenty of sun beds and everything was nice and clean. A few tweaks here and there would make this place amazing

The welcome package is nice if you can use it.
1. Wellness entrance -> Didn't use it because it was full. Maybe the entrance to the wellness should be reserved after the booking is confirmed or when you do the check in at the hotel.
2. Welcome drinks. -> The flyer was confusing about what drinks you can have. I think it's better to have 4 or 5 drinks listed on it and you know from the beginning what you get.
3. Swimming pool should be cleaned more often as I was able to see the sunscreen and other dirt in the pool.

La Manga is a hidden gem in Spain. Area is better on weekends, but the beaches are really nice. Fly to Valencia, rent a car and drive 2.5 hours. You'll love it and save some money.

I think it is the best Hotel in La Manga. The views to the Mediterranean are gorgeous. La suite azul is incredible. Very attentive service. My wife and I cannot imagine a better place to stay after our wedding.

location of the Hotel was best on the strip. On the small peninsula which have spectacular viewing of the beach.
Very clean beach. And a low level area, not too many tower blocks, so open views and from terrace you can see through to the lake side and see sunset.
