Hotel Cartagena Puerto

Great place. Quite humid in the summer. The old town is cosy and relaxing. Saw the Greek ruins which are impressive.
The hotel is very central and easy to walk to and from the old town.

Fantastic central location in the ancient city of Cartagena - a stones throw from the shops, monuments and waterfront. Our room had a balcony and a fantastic view. They DO take dogs - up to 15kg and didn’t raise an eyebrow at our Water Dog. I think they suggested we take a suite and asked if Nena wanted a dog basket too! Though that might have been the only room they had left. Room service, mini bar and wifi all worked great. Staff were kind. The car park has a tiny lift - so we parked our Megane overnight in a nearby underground car park, where we got an hotel discount. We had the most comfortable bed with the finest and crispest white sheets ever - a place I shall return to.

Very convenient to Cartagena port and the old town area with lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The castle and old Roman ruins are within easy walking distance. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the room was bright and warm with a shower over a bath which was a bit cramped for space due to a bidet right beside the bath. There was a great range of food for breakfast and the staff were very attentive. The hotel underground carpark is accessed by a car lift. This is not suitable for large cars and the parking bays are small. Would we stay in this hotel again? Definitely yes.

I had a great stay there. I unfortunately forgot some items in the room that were kept by hotel staff until I could ship them (couldn't as it included battery) I hope they're still available after 3 months, although not so much hope since hotel probably changed owners. I hope someone from the hotel can connect with me as I will be in Cartagena next month.

Fantastic location. The hotel sits on the edge of the historic Old Town. We have spent 7 weeks travelling through Spain and in my opinion this hotel has some of the best staff we have met. Reception staff were exceptional from arrival to departure. Breakfast staff were pleasant and welcoming. The hotel also as a car park whchs is a nice bonus.

Excellent hotel with all amenities close at hand. We chose to upgrade to a superior room
.. nice extras such as tea/coffee facilities, bath robes/slippers , TV... just a shame that there was only one English speaking channel available. Fabulous breakfast... we will definitely be back

Clean, comfortable, air conditioned hotel with good showers and good free Wi-Fi. It's situated 100 meters from the marina and right next to the main shopping area of Cartagena. The breakfast is fairly minimal having fruit, yogurt, bread, cheese so if your used to a full cooked breakfast then forget it.
