Nice hotel with nice modern rooms. However, during my stay, it was overcrowded due to many in site conferences and events and, especially during breakfast, it was difficult to find an available (and clean) place to seat. Moreover, the hotel is quite far from both the city center and the beach, even though bus connections are okay!

I'm giving it three stars for two reasons: they allow smoking at the entrance, which draws the smoke straight into the restaurant and lobby. We were there during a conference, at times there were 50 people smoking and it was disgusting air quality inside. They could fix this with a proper ventilated smoking area. Our room also smelled of stale smoke and And 2) the lifts were small, too few and malfunctioning...

We dropped off our bags prior to check in which was great. Everything seemed to be going fine. Lights in our room randomly shut off. No problem- went downstairs to let them know. New keys made. Worked for elevator but again didn't work for my room. Went back downstairs. Service tech sent up to my room with me. Everything reset and works fine. Go downstairs about a half hour later to pick up the pizza...

Definitely not a 4* hotel, the rooms are spacious enough and except the bed that is comfortable all the furniture is quite old and doesn’t look so good. The breakfast really doesn’t worth the money ( when is busy is hard to find something to eat, and coffee is one of the worst). The wifi is very poor and keeps disconnecting all the time. The rooms are extremely spacious and clean, as well as the common areas. It is quite far from the beach, so you’d have to take a bus that comes around every 20 mins. Not a bad hotel, considering we went self-catering and were at the F1 circuit for three days of the trip. Good location, really close to a hypermarket and a shopping centre. The pool was rather quiet except one day where a group of children were splashing, shouting and affecting other people's relaxing time. Surprising for an events hotel. A handful of reception and restaurant staff aren't very friendly. They give the impression that they are just doing their job but not enjoying customer interaction. The cooked breakfast is great with a huge variety to choose from. However, it gets boring after 6 days of the same thing. Great reception area and spacious lobby. Will definitely stay there again.

Decent hotel for a group booking. Clean rooms. Food was OK but very poor on variety and no vegetables at all at dinner for 4 out of 5 nights. Breakfast good but at both breakfast and dinner staff were overly quick to start dismantling tables and clearing away buffet (well before the hour time slot)

I just love hotel Ciudad and Castelldefels itself. Elderly looking hotel building provides amazing guest experience with cosy and very clean room, rich breakfast and amazingly clean pool outdoor area. This is a good place to stay with good access to the local beach and an easy train ride to Barcelona or the airport. The buffet breakfast is worth getting.

This was a last minute choice for our final day in Barcelona because of its proximity to the airport. Excellent choice. The room was clean and comfortable with a good view of the beach. We had a great time walking on the beach and had a lovely lunch. I would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel, the seaside view is amazing. Yes sometimes airplanes are passing by from El Prat, but for me that’s no issue. Pool is nice, you can get drinks at the pool. Service is great.

Very nice hotel. Modern spaces. The room is wide and comfortable. Bed is great: large, soft, high mattress and soft pillows. The shower is integrated into the space; has good water pressure and the amenities are very good. The exterior terrace is great: comfy beach-loungers, an umbrella, table... We missed our flight and got to stay in Spain one more night. We picked the dONNA Hotel because they had availability. It was a nice hotel. King size bed which I had only see once in Spain. Breakfast was amazing and so peaceful watching the waves while we are. Spent all day on the beach and walked around after. Plenty near by and if you are looking to relax and get some vitamin d this is a great place

What a week ! So I booked the hotel and then realised I had booked the apartments linked to the main hotel building. I read some reviews and really thought the worst but how wrong was I ! A fantastic hotel Staff can't do enough for you , the room we got was fantastic and it's a beautifully well kept hotel , smells wonderful too. Only negative was breakfast was kind of basic if you are used to Northern European hotel breakfasts

We spend a few days in August in this gorgeous hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful in every questions and requests. We loved our room on the ground floor which had partial sea view. Great large shower, and bathroom, practical and modern designed hotel. Breakfast was quality great choices. We loved it and would definitely stay again in this hotel.

This hotel was beautiful. The rooms smelled amazing. The beds were comfortable and it was right on the beach. Loved the breakfast And such a relaxing environment. Not sure why it would get less than 5 stars.

Good location near the beach . There are many cafes and restaurants down the road. The bus stop is at 400m. Check in was smooth ✅ Coffee and bar available downstairs. Omg best location and surprisingly great and clean bedrooms we have ever booked- the hairdryer is included / we had balcony room on ground floor which was great due to my anxiety and I slept so well that we walked 5 mins to the beach and to the nearest cafe - people were friendly and there was kids parks. Staff was very friendly in helping us find a place to buy towels. We couldn't borrow the towels for the pool when we wanted to go to the beach (which I assumed would be the case but it doesn't hurt to ask and let others reading these reviews that you cannot borrow the pool towels to go to the beach!). The hotel offers a lot for its price, I would rate it higher if not for the following issues: 1. Walls are paper thin (one of the walls had a tear in it and dust was coming out) 2. The hotel has no front desk, you have to walk to a nearby hotel which is pretty inconvenient. 3. There was a weird chemical smell in the hallway.

My mom and my son just come back from an amazing vacation I’m Barcelona. They love the Hotel. This was a nice place to stay while attending a business conference. The rooms are slightly old fashioned and could be refreshed. They were clean and had everything you needed, the bed was comfy too, but the walls are a bit thin so noise from the other rooms was a bit much on some days.

Basic and clean with great location, you pay half the rates of central Barcelona. Fifteen minutes from the airport. Buses that take just 40 minutes to get into the centre of Barcelona. Sweet little place with nice rooms and the friendliest service I've experienced at any hotel in Europe. The breakfast buffet is just OK, but it's much better than the included breakfast at American hotels. The pool is small and shaded in the morning but we're close to the beach.

Lovely boutique style hotel with a room/balcony overlooking the beach! There for a work function so ate at the hotel for lunch over a few days and there was plenty on the menu that you wouldn't get bored! The room was very nice and clean. I wish they had a coffee maker or kettle in the room. A short 10 minute walk gets you to the train station to head to Barcelona, and a roughly 25 minute walk to the beach. The room was clean and the staff were very nice. Bathroom was very clean. AC worked, but when I tried to adjust the temperature it seemed to not operate properly.

We had an exceptional stay at Ibis, Castelldefels, thanks to the outstanding staff. Their knowledge of the area and friendliness made us quickly feel welcome, and made it easy for us to make our way around town and into the city.

This hotel is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Is not that far from the airport, around a 10 to 15 minute drive. Very modern design that looks like it was built a few years ago. If you plan to visit La Rambla you shouldn't stay here because it is a 30 minute metro ride.

Reception was friendly and polite, nice and quiet location, room was good enough, but bathroom disappointed. Mould everywhere, very uncomfortable to take shower, don't really want to touch anything. Can be only one room like that, so get unlucky at this time.

Nice rooms in a great location in Madrid. The price is fair for the room. Not too luxury but clean and comfortable.

Perfect place for a short stay. Though the rooms are quite small, they're very clean with all necessary things available and functioning properly. The walk to the beach is just 10 mins.

It was clean. The staff was extremely friendly and they gave us these really handy maps of the area with the different bus information. It's a 15 minute walk from the beach, a 15 minute walk from the trains, and 20 minutes from the grocery store. There's tons of great restaurants within 15 minutes as well. Great experience!!!

The hotel is easily reachable by bus or taxi fron locatem the Airport and it fairly enough distant from the train station which is reachable by feet. Rooms are simple but clean, personnel is kind and able to speak english. Breakfast is not the best one in the world but it's ok.
