I’m not sure what to think about SB BCN Events. The hotel itself is fine — clean rooms and generally correct service — but there’s no minibar, which is surprising for a 4-star superior hotel. What’s more disappointing is that no one answered the phone for two days in a row. That doesn’t really match the level of service you’d expect from this category.

It’s a shame that such a good hotel ruins it’s image because of their breakfast. If you decide to come, rooms are quite good but I suggest you don’t have breakfast. It was a good experience overall. The good: Lara at reception was amazing, very helpful and understanding. This is a great 4-star hotel. It is mainly for events, and I was there at the partners' international conference for about four days. A handful of reception and restaurant staff aren't very friendly. They give the impression that they are just doing their job but not enjoying customer interaction. The cooked breakfast is great with a huge variety to choose from. However, it gets boring after 6 days of the same thing. Great reception area and spacious lobby. Will definitely stay there again.

Decent hotel for a group booking. Clean rooms. Food was OK but very poor on variety and no vegetables at all at dinner for 4 out of 5 nights. Breakfast good but at both breakfast and dinner staff were overly quick to start dismantling tables and clearing away buffet (well before the hour time slot)

What a week ! So I booked the hotel and then realised I had booked the apartments linked to the main hotel building. I read some reviews and really thought the worst but how wrong was I ! The hotel was fine overall, but there were several things that really need improvement. This is the perfect hotel for an escape from the city. The staff is the nicest ever, the rooms are clean and always well maintained, the drinks and restaurant are top tier. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to spend a few days in castelldefels in from of the beach.

This was a last minute choice for our final day in Barcelona because of its proximity to the airport. Excellent choice. The room was clean and comfortable with a good view of the beach. We had a great time walking on the beach and had a lovely lunch. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location near the beach . There are many cafes and restaurants down the road. The bus stop is at 400m. Check in was smooth ✅ Coffee and bar available downstairs. Omg best location and surprisingly great and clean bedrooms we have ever booked- the hairdryer is included / we had balcony room on ground floor which was great due to my anxiety and I slept so well that we walked 5 mins to the beach and to the nearest cafe - people were friendly and there was kids parks. Staff was very friendly in helping us find a place to buy towels. We couldn't borrow the towels for the pool when we wanted to go to the beach (which I assumed would be the case but it doesn't hurt to ask and let others reading these reviews that you cannot borrow the pool towels to go to the beach!). Hey, I just reasently had to book a hotel and I chose this hotel. It was by far tge best hotel I have ever been. The staff was really friendly and I could contact someone 24/7 on whatsapp what was amazing! I highly recomend this hotel if you are going on vacation!!!

Very basic hotel, relatively close to the airport. There is no receptionist, so you get a room code on your phone. The price was very low, with the rooms to match. I just needed a place to sleep between flights and this suited the purpose just fine.

Wonderful spot for an airport layover. Took a Cabify for a fair price. Room had just what you needed for a comfy night stay. It was clean. Remote check in was easy and friendly! My toddler and I walked to the beach for a swim and enjoyed the playgrounds. Good restaurants nearby. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

Such a cute little hotel off the beaten path, but close to everything! Beach is like a 5 minute walk, grocery store 30 minutes walk. It's a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport (30 mins by bus). If you're looking for a quiet location in a much cleaner and more local feeling beach than Barcelonetta, this is for you! Air con in the room was an absolute pleasure as well!! The hotel offers a lot for its price, I would rate it higher if not for the following issues: 1. Walls are paper thin (one of the walls had a tear in it and dust was coming out) 2. The hotel has no front desk, you have to walk to a nearby hotel which is pretty inconvenient. 3. There was a weird chemical smell in the hallway.

My mom and my son just come back from an amazing vacation I’m Barcelona. They love the Hotel. The staff was super kind, attentive, and helpful. I wish that I remembered one name... she remembered my coffee order every morning and was super sweet. It's a great location to enjoy the town and beach. It's a long walk to the beach, but if you like a good walk (30 minutes?), it's perfect. Bus and train are convenient for getting to Barca. Having the experience from my last stay at this ibis, this time I reserved the room directly through the Accor App. Few things have changed. Less parking but now changing your EV . Just perfect ( at least for me) drawback important to know once the car is fully charged you have to move your vehicle to different parking lot, otherwise you might get a ticket .to avoid that I booked additional parking...

For a 2 star hotel it was very comfortable and clean. It was well situated for shops, trains etc. Neus was particularly helpful with our questions. Will stay again with no hesitation.
