The room was spacious, nicely decorated and very clean with great sea view.
Front desk staff were all nice and friendly.

What a week !
So I booked the hotel and then realised I had booked the apartments linked to the main hotel building. I read some reviews and really thought the worst but how wrong was I ! The apartments are beautiful, clean, spacious and right opposite the sandy beaches. We arrived and immediately were upgraded for no reason at all. I found the hotel staff absolutely amazing. Kind, helpful and available 24/7 for anything you need at all. I went looking for sugar one night and mentioned tea and they quickly offered me a kettle with a smile. They just can’t do enough for you and are so friendly and welcoming. The apartments worked out perfectly as we had privacy and wasn’t sharing a main building. We had access to the pool and restaurants and everything the main hotel has to offer. Room service is every 3 days and the cleaners done a lovely job changing our bedding and towels and folding all the toilet rolls so they looked pretty. The apartment smelt amazing as we walked in with reed diffusers and everything was lovely and clean. The location - perfecto ! You are so close to everything you could possibly need, the beach, the shops, the train station is a few minutes away from the bustop. It doesn’t seem like an overly touristy place - in the week I’ve been here I’ve not seen another British visitor so it really has a lovely Spanish feel with the locals and isn’t overly touristy or busy. Bakery’s close late as do pharmacy’s and other shops. Everybody is very friendly also … it’s just the perfect location. I didn’t pay a deposit as I just paid the full amount for my stay when I arrived, I’ve mentioned this because I saw people say in reviews they had paid £300 deposit ontop of the hotel price but this wasn’t the case. As you walk onto the beach there is a cocktail bar with sun loungers and a climbing frame for children to keep everyone happy. Honestly everything here is just perfect for us. We booked as 2 adults and 1 child - the only slight concern I had was the staircase with a 4 year old it’s a little scary and the sofa bed is downstairs so we all shared the bed upstairs but it’s a huge queen size so it worked. The walls are a little thin but we had good neighbours so had no issues and granted Friday and Saturdays are a little louder with the bars but it really isn’t that disruptive at all so ignore the reviews that state otherwise because when I read them it really worried me but coming here it’s not bad at all. I can’t fault this place one bit, and I recommend it to anyone wanting a safe - beautiful place to stay. I will be coming back !! Thank you hotel Playafels ❤️

A fantastic hotel

Staff can't do enough for you , the room we got was fantastic and it's a beautifully well kept hotel , smells wonderful too.

Only negative was breakfast was kind of basic if you are used to Northern European hotel breakfasts

We spend a few days in August in this gorgeous hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful in every questions and requests. We loved our room on the ground floor which had partial sea view. Great large shower, and bathroom, practical and modern designed hotel. Breakfast was quality great choices. We loved it and would definitely stay again in this hotel.
