Elba Estepona Gran Hotel & Thalasso Spa

Very welcoming reception staff who were very helpful throughout our stay. We had two adjoining rooms which were very traditional but very clean with large bathrooms, dressing area and balcony with a sea view. Dining room could do with refurb a bit of a miserable space. The food was good but not exceptional but again staff were first class, Terrible coffee at breakfast which they really need to do something about. There is a lovely walk to Marina and Estepona and several bars along the way but not in the immediate vicinity. There is an Aldi across the way. No entertainment during our 5 day stay so evenings a bit flat. It didn’t matter for us as we had a baby with us so early nights were in order

we had a wonderful holiday, thanks to the hotel staff. The staff is nice and helpful, especially Laura from the reception. furthermore it is beautifully situated on the coast and close to Estepona. Nice pool area. Keep up the great Work!!!!

Wonderful hotel, upgraded to a junior suite on check in which was fabulous, pools indoor and out both with incredible views of the sea, woke every morning to the sound of waves, breakfast delicious, multiple options, highly recommend for familys/everyone, staff extremely courteous and friendly

Elba hotel and spa has everything you need for a break. Really spacious rooms big bathrooms nice balcony’s overlooking the property and sea. We picked it as a base for golf and it was very near all the courses we played. 10 mins in to Estepona by taxi. 50 mins to Malaga airport Highly recommend the hotel for couples or families.

Great location, atmosphere and food. Quite large but nice hotel with easygoing staff very helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy all hotel offers but definitely worth to come back. Even families with kids. Live music at lobby bar. Piano bar, etc. only 50 min walk from city center

Elba Estepona Gran Hotel & Thalasso Spa is an incredible destination that really stands out on the Costa del Sol. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with an inviting atmosphere and amazing views.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed, combining modern luxury with a relaxed Mediterranean vibe. The Thalasso Spa is a real highlight, offering a variety of treatments that use seawater for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Dining at the hotel is a treat. The breakfast buffet is amazing, with everything from fresh fruits to delicious pastries. For dinner, the themed restaurants offer a range of cuisines that highlight local ingredients and flavors.

The outdoor spaces are just as wonderful. There are lovely pools surrounded by gardens and easy access to the beach.

A standout aspect of my experience was the service, especially from Clara, the assistant manager. She was always approachable and ready to assist, making sure every guest felt welcome and well taken care of. Her attention to detail and friendly attitude really enhanced the overall experience.

Reading the reviews upon arrival im going to say I was a little worried but a bad review has never put us off! Yes this lovely hotel is grand and has it's own classic feel but I like that about this hotel it's not modern like what you get now. We arrived and got checked in very smoothly and also had a welcome drink along with an upgrade! Wow happy birthday to me! We got given a beautiful suite with amazing views to die for! A lounge too! The room was spotlessly clean and there is everything we needed. Kettle cups etc and complimentary toiletries provided by the hotel. The best was seeing we had a jacuzzi bath! 2 double sized beds together which was just amazing as my other half usually pushes me to the end of the bed! So, ample space! Balcony was massive with sunloungers if you desired to lie there and soak up the sun. The lobby bar was great the staff really make it here, big shout out to Nicoleta (sorry if I spelt your name wrong!) But she is very polite, happy and just so welcoming. She never stops! Well done keep up the hard work you are appreciated. We did try dinner here on our first night but in my opinion I'd like to see a little bit more choice for ala carte but that's again my own opinion. The food was very nice and thes staff here do whizz around to make sure you have everything you need! Lobby bar food is a great touch if your peckish too, good choice. It's so peaceful here just what we both needed for a few nights. I'll be back again to relax in a few months for definite
