Staying at Elba Hotel was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The whole resort is right by the beach, which gives you that true holiday feeling from the moment you arrive. The pool has a stunning sea view — we could have stayed there all day just relaxing and taking it in.
Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well looked after. The staff were absolutely brilliant — friendly, kind, and always ready to help with a smile, which made us feel completely taken care of.
What made the evenings special was the live music in the lobby most nights. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and full of good vibes — it really added to the overall experience and made every night feel memorable. And breakfast was simply amazing: fresh, varied, and full of delicious options to start the day right.
We do wish that spa access had been included in the stay, but even though we paid separately, we enjoyed it so much that it was worth it.
We already miss being there and would happily come back again without hesitation. A truly beautiful place with great energy, amazing service, and memories we’ll definitely carry with us.

Beautiful grand hotel with lovely spacious rooms, great terrace with stunning sunrise views and great pool. Situated 45 minutes walk along a beautiful seaside promenade to the Estepona marina. Great friendly service at the reception and pool bar in particular.

We stayed in the hotel in January 2024. We took a suite on the 5th floor. It was an extraordinary room, huge with great furniture, massive closet space, large tub bath, separate shower, enormous loggia. The bedroom was excellent.
The breakfast was very good, the parking ample. The swimming pool was heated.
The beach is great as a nature spot and for the sea but I am not sure about swimming. When we stayed the wind was constant. Also the area has mosquitoes.
The soundproofing is not that great.
We liked the city of Estepona, its historic center and the seafront promenade. But the it's too busy and built-up. The hotel is a pleasant retreat further away. It was nice in January with minimal number of guests.
Overall an excellent comfort and a great place to rest.

Just a really lovely place to stay, rooms are very big, food is very very good and staff are lovely. Right next to the A7, but the hotel has no rooms at the back of the hotel, so absolutely no noise from the A7 can be heard. Fantastic pool, and the beach it just outside the hotel.

Its not bad but location wise its terrible! There is NOTHING around it, its directly on the motorway! There's nowhere to even walk, nothing along the front, beach isn't very nice either! The hotel is nice enough, not enough staff in the dining room at busy times, food is VERY repetitive and not all that much variety. Drinks are expensive! Pools are nice, enough beds for everyone which is a plus. Room was okay, bed was huge, bathroom was huge. We had room service plates in our room for 2 days, stuff was going mouldy on it we had to ask reception for someone to take it away! Cleaning ladies took our pool towels and the bath towels and never replaced them, the 3 of us were using dressing gowns to get dry on as we didn't notice until it was too late! Staff are very pleasant and attentive in the main lobby but you go largely ignores in the dining rooms unless you're Spanish.
All in all its okay, slightly tired looking in some areas and for a '5 star' where we paid £1900 for 4 nights i expected a little more!

My wife and I had such an enjoyable time at the Elba Estepona Gran hotel/ spa.
Half board,
breakfast, there was so much choice, amazing.
Dinner buffet, lots of choice plus a fresh meat or fish cooking station by two chefs, I just had to tell the chef what I liked and how I would like it cooked, incredible.
There also was another restaurant but for a small supplement but didn't manage to go.
The spa was very relaxing, and I did go to their gym once and was a good array of equipment. Outdoor very large pool and an indoor heated pool were great. And plenty of sunbeds. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

We booked 2 rooms for 7 days. We paid £1500 for one room and £2800 for the other. The difference between the two rooms was a sea view and a camp bed in the corner. Everything else was identical. How can you charge an extra £1300 for a sea view and camp bed? Feels very unfair especially when a quick online search shows the difference should only be a few hundred pounds.

Elba Estepona was an amazing experience for my family! My daughter has several food allergies and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate her during all meals. They even went to the store to buy chocolate snacks/desserts for her to be able to have during the day! Also, my son is a type 1 diabetic and the staff easily kept his ice packs for his insulin travel in the freezer for us during the stay. This place will be able to accommodate all your families needs making traveling and enjoying your family the main priority. Thank you everyone for all you did to help my family create such great memories!

there's lots to improve on I wouldn't put this hotel at 5 star food needs to change not great with un cooked chicken, beach was awful no life guard or nets I got stung by jelly fish I came here 8 years ago was great but now very poor

Came away with a friend and had two sea view rooms. Cannot fault the hotel, while people state dated, we found it had everything we needed and cannot complain about the rooms. We went all inclusive and while slightly worried the food wood get boring, the selection was amazing and something for absolutely everyone. Bar menu was also great. The pool and poolside is clean and the beach is all set up and very private. The best thing about the hotel are the staff. I have to mention Pedro who was an incredible host and went above and beyond As well as Antonia in the spa. What hard working, kind humans which nothing was too too much for. Bar staff Sainte and Maria are just amazing and helped us get very merry. Would strongly recommend this hotel to everyone and again thank you to Pedro and Antonio- you are a credit to the team.
