My only disappointment with this place was its location. It was tucked away just off a motorway and the amenities nearby were limited. We had to walk down the road then cross a motorway then walk a bit again to get to a selection of restaurants and shops. The beach was a slight trek too and definitely not the nicest with all the rocks and debris. But I absolutely loved the service at the hotel, the staff were lovely and helpful and nothing was a problem for them. The breakfast buffet was excellent and was always a huge choice. The quality of all the food was fantastic except for the bacon which was always frazzled like strips of leather but they were happy to cook fresh bacon at your request. There was an issue we had with something in the room but upon reporting it to reception, they resolved it very quickly and made it up to us with a bottle of Cava which was very much appreciated. The service there is excellent and I really do recommend this place highly. Jamal, Miguel and Sandro, just to mention a few names, were all super helpful and really made a difference to our stay there. Thank you.

*** BE WARNED DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE THIS HOTEL IS AT BEST 3 * ***
This NOT repeat NOT a Five Star hotel by any means. No apology for the service and its a group that do not care. Read the response nothing is their fault.
The position is simply awful and if you do not have a car look out for a large taxi bill.
The rooms are infested with ants and bugs and if you tell them the Bell man (yes the bellman) refuses to apologise and blames you for having food in the room No the hotel should be free of bugs. The power trips out when you charge a phone! it is symptomatic of a poorly kept hotel
When I asked for two bookings to be linked the reception forgot to do it meaning we had to walk a long way back as the keys did not work,
When you ask for anything the answer is no such as do you have a bottle opener.
The food at the hotel is bland uninspiring and like the drinks overpriced. Just take your own beer and wine nothing they can do
The will not take any responsibility when something goes wrong and the service is just awful.
The hotel is in need of a complete refurb and does not even have USB points in the rooms.
Do yourself a favour and book any other hotel in the area. This hotel is a shambles and very poor. The Exe is far better and cheaper.
they claim to have an indoor pool - What they do not tell you is they charge for it, Ignore the bluster in the replies the pool is simply too cold and not heated and no one uses it. Nothing to do with climate all to do with a cheap hotel who cannot afford to heat the pool.
Look at the responses from the manager in this forum Not an apology and refuse to take the blame for a shabby run down hotel.
The lifts (elevators) are olld and rickerty
If Moises replies he will use a template and say it he is sorry it di not meet our expectations. He will even say we would like to welcome me again. I would rather stay in a tent.
Lets see if they say sorry, Why would they we are never going back to this dump.

His response was the same as the reception staff and for some reason the Bellman who wanted to get involved. He knew nothing but felt he had to also offer excuses not answers. He told us that it was our fault for having food in the room . The bugs were there first! It sums up the hotel management if you read the reviews they do not care so just book ANY OTHER HOTEL.
Not even the offer a glass of wine or coke to apologise at the time Zero cost but loads of goodwill.
Let me be clear they advertise an indoor pool and nowhere did I see did they say it is part of the Spa and an extra charge will be incurred for using the heated indoor pool.
He offers nothing and this is what you will find if any goes wrong they simply do not care. The hotel is not 5* and he now admits it with regards to the elevators and the lack of USB ports
Where he gets the fact that the restaurant is 1 place in Estepna is not mentioned. No evidence provided.
You have been warned it is a poor hotel and the pool area is nothing special.

I picked this hotel because it had free parking. It was centrally located to all the places wwe were going to drive to and close to the A7 allowing us access to all our destinations easily.
The rooms were large and well appointed we did not use any of the facilities so I cannot rate the spa or the pools or the restaurant
Hotel has interesting exterior and interior architecture, and there is a nice little walk to a rocky beach
If you walk down the road to the west, there’s a crossover and a number of very nice restaurants across the street for everything from breakfast and coffee to dinner
The rooms were large and well appointed we did not use any of the facilities so I cannot rate the spa or the pools or the restaurant

We stayed here for 5 nights. Upon arrival it was very clear that the hotel was well run, with friendly staff. The room was modern, spacious and very clean. Our air conditioning wasn't working properly upon arrival, but as soon as this was reported it was fixed by the time we had returned to the room! Hotel staff really did act in the best interests of the guests! The bed was super comfy and the room came with everything you could possibly need. Rooms cleaned every day, with very friendly cleaning staff. The only issue I would dispute is around how soundproofed the walls actually are, but that wasn't a massive problem.
The pool was perfect and had an incredibly relaxed feel to it. Not too deep but just enough to be able to relax in it. Sun loungers were also very comfortable with lots of umbrellas. We tended to go down at around 10.30 each day and there were lots available. Complimentary snacks which came round once or twice a day were a lovely touch too. Ordering food/snacks around the pool was also very easy, which were also high standard. They can be fairly pricey depending what you order, but the quality of everything I had was great! Never had a bad snack. Pool staff very lovely and relaxed! Shout out to Pablo who was so lovely and absolutely amazing!!
We ate at the hotel restaurant one evening too. I had the truffle pasta which was one of, if not the best pasta dish I have tasted. Very impressed. I loved the location of the hotel, there was a main highway but you could never hear it. The area is on the quieter side of the wider area, which I liked as for me this stay was about relaxing. If you want some nightlife, we did venture into Puerto Banus two nights and it cost around €14-€15 for a taxi each way. Food and drinks are fairly expensive there, which is to be expected.
Final thing, our check out was at 12 but flight wasn't until 10.20pm. Staff allowed us to use the 'complimentary room' to shower after our final day at the pool, which was a nice touch too!
For me this was an all round great experience and a lovely place to spend my time on holiday!

Unreliable Hotel due to inconsistent service.
Came back to the hotel at night after they had completed their daily cleaning/service only to find a dirty bed sheet and dirty bathrobe.
Called them to request for changing it and they said they couldn’t do anything about it except to wait for the next day, as they don’t have enough staff.
After apologizing and cleaning it properly (the next day), they forgot to clean our room on the day after.
‘Okay’ hotel, but absolutely not a 5 star hotel.
Pros: The suite is nice and spacious with a lovely view on the sea.
Jamal was kind and helpful.

We booked this as my partner's birthday getaway, the room was very modern and spacious, we were immediately impressed. On his birthday morning he got surprised with a complimentary bottle of cava & card, it was very lovely and thoughtful.
The building itself is stunning and palm trees surrounding the pool area are relaxing and picturesque. Would highly recommend, can't wait to be back for our anniversary next year😻🏖💖

All stuff was very friendly and professional, explain everything what we want to know about our daily trip.
Thank you very much for really nice suprice for my birthday. Food and drinks was exceptional. Breakfast delicious and Georgia she know how to do eggs just perfect.
Maybe will be good idea do not bring any form of glass (wine or drinks )to pool area in case get brake.

Very lovely hotel, and amazing staff that are absolutely friendly, polite and great hospitality. I’m very grateful for the wonderful service/experience you’ve provided throughout my stay. You made my birthday very special too, which was very sweet of you all!
Breakfast was so good! Cocktails tasted nice, and clean spacious room.

This popular adults only hotel is a super place to stay and can offer good value packages via various on-line providers.
Great atmosphere when we stayed on both occasions and the choice of a beach pool adjacent to the outside bar area is a lovely setting. There is also a second deep pool at the far end of the complex. The grounds are well maintained and the hotel has a spa & outdoor shaded massage therapy area. Plenty of parking directly to the front of the hotel but be very careful when driving out to join the main very busy road as drivers can be reluctant to let you out! There is also a bar adjacent to the hotel ( The Robin Hood ) along with some other restaurants but you may have to cross over the foot bridge to access the many others.
This is a great hotel for couples looking for a romantic holiday and you can book a taxi from Malaga airport in advance of where the tour operator provides it within their package.

Senator Banus hotel Spain, the hotel is very clean, friendly staff, very good Spa, nice bar, good environment for holiday. I will not hesitate to recommend it to my friends and family. Good value for money, we really enjoyed ourselves.
