El Fuerte Hotel in Marbella

We had a wonderful stay at El Fuerte Marbella. Our junior suite faced the sea and the view was absolutely fantastic — waking up to the sound of the waves was unforgettable 🌊. The staff were friendly and kind, and a special thanks goes to Laura from the Guest Experience team for her excellent service and warm attitude. Overall, we were happy with everything, though prices are on the higher side. Service can be a bit slow at times — we waited around 15–20 minutes for coffees at breakfast and for the valet to bring our luggage. Still, a beautiful hotel in a perfect location — we’d love to come back!

Outstanding experience – truly unforgettable

This was our first trip to Marbella, and we stayed at El Fuerte Marbella with our two daughters. It turned out to be a fantastic choice and an excellent family-friendly hotel.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the level of service, quality, and attention to detail stood out. The staff were always smiling, warm, and genuinely kind, which immediately made us feel welcome.

The hotel’s location is perfect — just a few minutes’ walk to the Old Town, yet peaceful and relaxing. The hotel terrace and the direct access down to the beach level were excellent and added a lot to the experience.

Breakfast was superb, with great variety and quality. The rooms, overall hotel cleanliness, and the views were outstanding ,truly nothing to criticize.
What really made the difference was the concierge team. They didn’t just assist us; they worked like a professional back office supporting our daily plans. As we were leaving the hotel every day for day trips, the concierge team stayed in direct contact with us via WhatsApp, followed up consistently, suggested the best spots to visit, and helped us with restaurant bookings. The level of care and follow-up was genuinely impressive.
The lounge, valet service, and overall quality throughout the hotel were flawless. Most importantly, it was truly great value for money.

A special thank you to the concierge team ,Victoria Sorokina, David, and Laura. You made our first family trip to Marbella truly memorable and created unforgettable memories for us.

Fabulous hotel, perfectly placed right on the beach and a short walk into the old town. We had a great time, friendly staff, sea view room and didn't realise we had booked a 'selected' experience. This included extras like late check out, enhanced breakfast and best of all, a free business-type lounge with wines, beers, spirts, snacks, private sun lounge areas etc. Amazing and definitely coming back!

Excellent Hotel with a fancy appearence. Even the entrance is gorgeous. What a nice welcome! They own an executive art gallary and several restaurants with great cuisine. The view from the rooftop is amazing by day and night. The hotel is very central and close to the beach. Their facilities offer a great time for all kind. The staff is very friendly and cooperate. I truly recommend a stay here.

The hotel was incredibly good. Beautiful facilities, close to the beach and just gorgeous. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection and everything was freshly prepared. The staff were also great, especially Zani who gave us a very warm welcome and was always there for us. I will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our 9 night stay at the Fuerte, staff were very nice (a special thank you to Georges for being so kind and helpful to us), we were always made to feel welcome, from the restaurant staff to the attendants at the front door. Breakfast buffet was wonderful and the hotel is very conveniently located. The only let down was the beach in front of the hotel, once you are in the water, the ocean floor has large rocks that make it a real challenge. There was also a lot of seaweed the week we were there, I know it’s not something the hotel can control, but it was a damper on our otherwise great week.

The upgraded interiors, the breakfast, the rooftop pool and bar, were all excellent. Highly recommend!
