Great place if you have younger children. Beach minutes away by walking, a lot of restaurants around, good facilities within the hotel ... hotel looks amazing. You do need a car or a way of getting around, but catch the 4 euro train that takes you around the area, as itcomes to a stop with more stalls for shopping and amusements, Locally, otherwise not much around, however, Portugal is literally a few miles away, so you're able to pop over there and see what that offers ... Limited choice for vegetarians. Service impeccable.

Not recommended. Terrible food, poorly prepared. Lunch at the bar not much better, food had to be sent back as it was completely cold. Hotel is tired and in need of maintenance. Our room was not cleaned very well. Views and location are nice, pool area is very clean and well maintained.

The hotel is large, with a nice pool, a variety of snacks, great animation for children and adults, cleaned every day, with friendly and smiling staff. But unfortunately my room smelled musty and bad, I say that as constructive criticism!

Fab location. Would be great for a family holiday if you are not international. They don’t even try to interact with you if you don’t speak Spanish. The reception staff are so so rude and will speak about you in Spanish right to your face, I had my translator on and heard what they were saying. The entertainment staff will not include your children if you do not speak Spanish either, we saw a few of them playing with all the other children but skipped our lounges to go to the children next to us second red flag. Some of the guests just stare at you. Absolutely awful experience and we will never return here again. Isla Canela (Ayamonte) is a beautiful place such a shame the hotel experience ruined it all.
The bathroom is filthy as well, mould all over the place and the tiles have dipped in so the water just pools there, the shower head is dirty and this whole holiday we just felt very unclean
Also no AC throughout the whole place, the rooms are stuffy because the ac blows out warm air

A very beautiful hotel. Good views, nice rooms (a bit small for 2 adults and 2 children), great variety of food yeat it seems to be lack of staff on the preparation of food... Contrary to the cleaning of the dinning room: staff very attentive and quick. It could have longer periods for the meal serving, namely at lunch: could open a little early cause with little kids it's difficult to wait and afterwards, all the afternoon breaks...
A last remark on the extraordinary surprise that a person that made this travel with me had when coming back to the room received a bottle of champagne for his birthday. With the compliments of the hotel. Thanks for the gesture and care.

We stayed here to attend an event and both the accommodation and catering were impressive.

My first time in spain, and it was great! Hotel was clean and personel was super nice. Sometimes i had troubles because i don’t speak spanish and most of the personel don’t speak english but i wouldn’t mark it as a disadvatage of the hotel because they were all super nice and were trying to understand and give me what i wanted. Food was ok. We had allinclusive so we could pick plenty of drinks in the bar, for some drinks you’ll need to pay. There was one big big minus and it was a room. At first we specially asked for a room not on parter and not with the view for pool area so we got a room on parter with the view on pool area😂 they also said they can’t change it when we asked. The room wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t stink… the smell of the sewer system (i guess?) was so bad (we had room 177) sometimes i couldn’t sleep. I would definitely love to come back and give 5 stars, but please fix the rooms. Overall it was great :)
