Hospes Amerigo

Fantastic location and very nice service. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was tasty and abundant. I loved the scent that the hotel smelled of and bought a bottle to bring back home. In terms of suggested improvements, it would be great if there was complimentary water in the rooms (there was coffee, but anything else was only available from the mini bar ) and a mini fridge. Also, my AC could not be adjusted and the temperature set was a bit too cold for me during the night (it felt good during the day). I got a room with a "inside" window, so I basically only saw the building from the window, so no natural light at tall coming in, but that's fine, at least it was quiet during the night as I did not hear any noises from the street. I enjoyed the welcome drink! In general, a good experience.

Wow. What a truly incredible stay! We booked a standard room but were appointed with a beautiful suite. The front desk staff was absolutely incredible - very kind, helpful and proactive. This hotel definitely lives up to the 5-star rating. If I am ever back in the area, this hotel will be my first choice.

Our recent stay at Hospes Amérigo was nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the elegance and charm of the hotel.
The suite we stayed in was immaculate, equipped with comfortable furnishings, and all the amenities you could hope for. The rooftop pool was a highlight, providing view to the cathedral. A perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring.

We would like to specifically mention Cristina Uriel’s outstanding service and support, who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. Not to forget the entire rest of the staff members. They were all lovely and kind!

we did not stay in the hotel itself, but were tempted by a magical place - an oasis of calm, coolness, style and elegance. Every detail is elegantly and tastefully thought out. very friendly, professional waiters. helped to choose several dishes so that we could enjoy the variety of local cuisine. very nice tableware and beautifully decorated dishes. big portions and very tasty. thank you for a wonderful experience😍

One of the nicest hotels we stayed in during our two weeks in Spain! The room was gorgeous, balcony view was excellent, bed was super comfy and was the first place we stayed where a queen bed wasn’t just shoving two twin beds together (this happened to us SO MUCH in Spain so be warned travelers, falling into the crack in the night is the worst lol!) the rooftop bar was so beautiful at night with views of the castle lit up.

We had a wonderful stay here in the heart of Alicante. The cleaner here was amazing! We were first given a room that had a noisy air con but we’re moved to a quieter room quickly.

Their partner restaurant serving tapas is some of the best I’ve tried! They had a flamenco dancer and singer on one of the nights which was a great experience!

All in all, I would stay again happily!

Stayed one night here. Staff all very good and all spoke good english. Room was okay. Had usb points and ample sockets. Had some uk channels on TV. The hotel is well situated. There is a small carpark that needs reserving prior but its tight. Breakfast was average. Food selection just ok not anything special. Overall I would probably stay here again. Price was high for my room but maybe as it was last minute.
