Reviews
We had access to the Level which made the stay even better. Drinks are included in the Level throughout the day but you are limited to drinking these at the Level bar and pool - you cannot take drinks up to your room. The food selections were great.
We had a triple room and the third bed was a sofa bed. This was only made up after we returned from dinner and was as hard as a rock and couldn't be slept in - very disappointing for such a nice hotel. The next day, it was replaced with a fold out single bed, which was much nicer. The staff were unsurprised at the request for a different bed, so it would make more sense for them to just put the fold up bed out as standard in the first place.
Although it's a nice hotel, I would not stay again due to the lack of sun that the hotel gets. The exclusive infinity pool for Level guests is in the shade for most of the day, so it's hardly used. The other pool is in the sun for part of the day, but you need to move away from the pool and to the sunbeds on the harbour side to get the late afternoon, remaining evening sun. If you're coming for a sunbathing holiday, there are better hotels with more sun access elswhere. We spent the sunny days on the beach instead (9€ per sunbed and umbrella).
All I can say is WOW !!! Amazing hotel and staff . Hotel was spotless and perfect location to everything you need . Lay by the pool enjoying the sun with a view of the sea and beach was beautiful . Very relaxed environment and staff at the bar are very well trained in making great cocktails and all bar staff were very pleasant. All staff was pleasant and friendly.
I would defo recommend this hotel and location to anyone as its the nicest and cleanest hotel I've been too ! Also when you walk into the door of the hotel there's an amazing smell over the whole hotel and since being home I can't get it out of my head lol I need to know what air freshener they use !!!
I give this hotel 10/10 loved it ! Thank you melia for making my stay perfect x
Initially, the hotel mentioned they would address our poor experience, but when we tried to extend our stay because my dad was still in the hospital, they offered a room at a higher rate than our original booking. The guest experience manager admitted to being aware of my dad’s fall from the start, despite another staff member claiming no one knew. They also refused to investigate the cause of the fall.
On the day we were supposed to check out, they sent someone at 9:30 AM to ensure we left on time. The entire experience was terrible—there was no compassion, and the hotel is overpriced. I do not recommend staying here
A special mention to Silvia, Daniel, Rocio and Gloria who always go the extra mile to make guests feel very welcome.
Air conditioning in the room was underpowered and unable to make the set temperature. Technician says that’s just the way it is. Nights were sticky when trying to sleep.
Food service at the pool by the restaurant was rough. They want you to order through their QR code/site but the site is pretty crappy with limited navigation ability and inconsistent translation even when English is selected. Waited an hour for some items in our order and the waiter was scarce, then blamed the app saying I should have ordered the shake separately directly through him because of tech issues with that category of menu offerings. How was I supposed to know that? It made zero sense. He just told me to complain about it. I had to go up to the Blue Bar to pay, but left after waiting 10 minutes for the waiter to let me sign for the bill.
Worst part of our stay is something that was out of the control of the resort all together. Our stay coincided with their fire holiday. Friday night there was music from several open air night clubs near the beach until at least 3am. Hip hop music and DJ banter blasting all night long for several nights. This was an absolute horror for families with kids. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good holiday, but there is nothing traditional or culturally significant about hip hop music playing all night in relation to a fire holiday. Absolutely terrible policy on the part of the local authorities. They should be doing this somewhere away from residential and tourist communities. Do not come to tourist areas during their holidays unless you’re cool with being up all night.
Overall 3 stars. I wouldn’t come back during a holiday and they have a lot of work to do to match the service to the cost.
Went with some friends for a quick break and the hotel was in the perfect location. The staff were amazing- super friendly and helpful as well as happy to fulfill an extra requests we had.the restaurant was wonderful and felt so luxurious. It was also my friends birthday during our stay and unprompted, chocolates and fruit was delivered to our room with a card! The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are very well looked after, felt very safe as well considering we were three young women. Would definitely recommend!!
