Poseidon Resort

Just stayed a week bed an breakfast on a golfing holiday. Nice hotel mainly based at older Spanish guests. Youngsters may find it one to avoid, having said that it is handily placed for the strip and dozens of good restaurants.

I came with a group of 24. Hotel was great, although some rooms a bit on small side. Food was really good choice and for us it was great to have wine with our evening meal. Service also was very good. We loved the pools both inside and out along with Jacuzzi's. My only complaint is the fact that the sea had some type of fish that liked human flesh. The papers say that holidaymakers were warned, but this is not true. I am just starting 2 months of treatment on leg now that I am home in UK, following an attack in waist high water by some type of piranha according to the reports, off Benidorm's main beach. Taken by ambulance to hospital. 300 Euro up front. I really would have liked to have been warned of the risk. The papers say 15 cases a day on average are reported. Can you please address this issue.

The hotel is in good location close to The Strip. It’s also a short walk of several minutes to go to the beach. There are restaurants and bars near the hotel. The rooms are average but clean. We had a balcony in our room. They have a parking building at the back of the hotel and it’s very secured. We booked a triple room (half board). Buffet breakfast is alright and inclusive of warm drinks and juices. However for dinner, drinks are not included, not even water. Drinks can be ordered from the waitress and paid at the cashier upon exit. They don’t offer the best buffet but it’s ok for the price that we paid. A big percentage of the hotel’s guests are retired seniors and there is an nightclub for them within the hotel. But of course anybody at any age is welcome there. The room rate is very affordable and would suit a traveler on a budget. This hotel has a swimming pool. The adjacent sister hotel has a nicer outdoor swimming pool and an indoor pool and guests have access to those facilities as well.

Friendly, helpful staff. My only gripe is the food. I only had breakfast, and there was plenty of choice, but the bacon, sausages, beans etc were cold, not even lukewarm. Other than that the location is excellent. The pool looks nice, although I didn't venture into it. Rooms are clean & adequate.

We stayed at the Poseidon Resort for a weekend in March.
It’s basically x2 hotels joined together one is more dated than the other.
Hotel very clean, rooms clean, bit out dated but we wasn’t there to spend time in the room.
X2 swimming pools, pool area clean.
Can’t comment on the food as didn’t eat there. Lots of Spanish guests but all very polite.

Hotel is 10 minutes walk to the main strip. I think the location is excellent. Between old town and new town.
10 minute walk to beach. Perfect

Johnathan the entertainer was so friendly and we enjoyed doing rifle shooting with him! Very nice guy, an asset to the Poseidon hotel.
I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Benidorm 10/10

Stayed here for 3 nights, had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised.

Friendly and helpful staff on reception and we were even given a very early check-in which I didn’t expect.

Seems we got one of the older rooms but I found the beds really comfortable, along with the pillows. The bathroom was very clean.

The walls are and floors are paper thin so you do hear quite a bit noise but we were only in the room to sleep at night.

Housekeeping daily. WiFi worked fine also. The outdoor pool looked great but was closed for season; however there is an indoor heated pool available.

There is no ironing service at the hotel whatsoever, so be prepared.

We paid £40 a night, so no complaints. Had we paid more, then the quality may not have been commensurate with the value.

The location is excellent; close to Old Town and Levante beach and restaurants/bars etc.

A nice hotel, 2 big pools outside on different levels Kids pool with a slide. i think there is also an indoor one. Rooms are clean and cleaned every day, balcony, tv with some English channels and a good powerful shower with a bath. Wifi is free which you can get inside and outside.Good choice of food pork,chicken,fish,pasta chips, potato and lots more.
Entertainment games during day and evening entertainment
Reception room and inside outside bar.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Over all i liked this hotel and is well worth its star rating.
If you want a five star hotel then pay for a 5 star.

The beans need to be changed at this hotel everything else was perfect
